SoulGem Oven 4: Integration Fork

Recommended Posts

There appears to be a problem when birthing black soulgems (either via insemination or via debug menu): all black soul gems are empty when spawned.

Also, would it be possible to add encumbrance to the character as the number and stages of the incubated soul gems increases?

Hello I found a bug, if you max out the gem level beyond 99+ and 200+, the mod stops working and you can't do anything else with the mod: inserting, extracting gem or milk. Resetting the mod just before you hit the level cap helps to avoid this issue but it's not a decent fix.

Confirmed, this is probably the issue that happens where the mod "randomly" stops working too.

I will work on a fix when i got the time.

The mod also stopped working when reaching gem lvl 99+.
For me turning on the Gem Leveling in mcm and setting the Gem Threshold and level cap to what the example is (25 and 5). Doing that helped slow down the speed at which the gem levels up (Not reaching lvl 99+ in 40 minutes, instead it takes hours to reach it with gem leveling enabled). So that's my best solution until it gets fixed.

If you want the gems to be filled you have to go into mcm -> Gameplay (at least I think its in Gameplay) and there should be an option to set birth gems to be filled.

I might try that, but for now I've checked and it happens even when I use vanilla SGO4 without this mod.

It appears to be a compatibility issue with YASTM. I'll try disabling that and then seeing if the entire thing works.

Edit: Turns out it's the option to set birth gems to be filled, my bad. (Top right of the Gameplay submenu in the MCM as of latest update)

Here is an attempt at a fix for mod breaking "randomly"

To use install over SGO4 1.7.4.

Also edit your configs:

Change GemLevelingCap to 100

Add GemTierCap and set it to 6.

basically:

Gemlevelingcap is now GemTierCap change accordingly in your config. Default is 6
Gemlevelingcap is actual cap on gem levels, default 100.

Test on new save with old settings, This patch breaks current savegames.

Sorry for the noob question, but can someone explain to me how to go about making the morphs work with BHUNP? As of now, the morphs only seem to work when the actor is wearing armor. Once they're nude, the body goes back to normal. I know it's meant for CBBE 3BA and that I need to rename the morphs to their BHUNP equivalents, but I'm not sure how to do that. Do I open the MCM menu, delete the names of all the pregnancy, milk, and sperm morphs, then add new ones with the BHUNP names (with the same values)? Where would I found the names for BHUNP?

How BHUNP?

You need to figure out the morph names of BHUNP. as i do not use said mod i can't really help you there, you should be able to look in bhunp install folder, look for scripts/source/ and then something labeled RaceMenuMorphs(something) Open it up and check what morph names bhunp uses and slam them into the config.

Either manually change in the default.json config located in configs/dse-soulgem-oven

or delete them in the mcm and manually add there,

Values are arbitrary and depends on how you set up the mod.

Edit: formatting in json config is VERY important, if you mess that up mod will cease to work. basically just don't forget commas and punctuation. if you open up the mcm and everything is at 0, that means you broke the json.

That did the trick, thanks. After a bit of testing, I also figured out the issue with certain actors only having the morphs applied when wearing armor; it was actually kinda obvious in hindsight. If anyone else is using BHUNP and is seeing the same issue: make sure any NPC replacers like Bijin warmaidens/wives/npcs are using BHUNP too. The base mod only supports UNP or CBBE, but there are patches for it available on the Nexus. Install those, build them in BodySlide, and you're good to go.

I can't seem to get weight fertility bonus to do anything, chance in console doesn't alter, maybe it just doesn't behave as I expect. With a fertility of 2% and 98 weight bonus I would of thought preg chance would be 100% at 1 weight, instead it would seem to be still only 2%.

Edit: Fertility Window would also seem to have a greatly exaggerated effect, though at 1 it appears to work as expected . Using 1.7.5 testpatch in AE 353,

yeah, something sounds wrong. il take a look when i got the time, meanwhile you can try insemination with insemination use preg chance, if its 100 there, then its just a visual bug. if not something is wrong with the calculation.

I don't know why every value in MCM is fixed. I can't change anything :(

If fixed at 0, you have a broken config, json's are very iffy on proper writing.

if fixed at any other value, you have to config on read only.

In VERY SIMPLE terms HOW does a player with a swollen belly full of fully developed soul gems give 'birth' to them???

This is NOT at all clear on how it's done, and there should be a very OBVIOUS activator (or whatever it's called) button to give birth!!

I guess I should be clear in that I have had NO problems with SGO4, all features seems to have worked great!  The ONLY problem I have it getting the damn soul gems OUT after they are fully developed.  In fact I have had this problem with ALL versions of SGO I have tried in all versions of skyrim, and if this is not fixed in one way or another I Will NEVER recommend this mod to anyone.

There's a spell under the "powers" menu called "[SGO4] Main Menu..." that you can cast on yourself (by not having anyone else under your crosshair). From there, you select the gems from the radial menu, and it will ask if you want to birth just one or all of them. It will play a short animation, and if your soul gems are ready (or if you have the setting to toggle soul gem birth before they're completely ready) they'll pop out of your character.

Just wanted to mention that I experienced the same bug with just SGO Beta 8 (was pregnant to max capacity with soul gems and suddenly found that I could no longer open the databank or debug menus, nor could I access the action wheel from the Main Menu-power anymore), so this add-on at least doesn't appear to be the sole cause of the bug.

Is there any chance of finding a solution that won't break existing saves?

Thank you for replying, I tried to change it all to read only(Default.json), but it didn't work. Not only the value, but all options do not change.

I found that resetting the mod in the mcm before it stops working seamed to solve the issue. I went up to the point where the mod stopped working and reverted to an earlier save made sure I wasn't still pregnant with a gem(resetting while pregnant messed with my morphs a little bit) and reset the mod. It didn't seam to stop working again after that. Oh, I had it going on 1 gem max. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the recommendation, but sadly that solution would only be different from starting a new save by technicality for me. I was content to just let SGO run and do its thing without really interfering with it for a pretty long time while just enjoying the changing morphs, so it took me hours to even realize that it had stopped working. And going back to before my character was pregnant with even one gem would set me back pretty much to the start of the game anyway.

Would it be possible to have separate pregnancy weight and pregnancy sliders?

I.e., when my character gives birth, the pregnancybelly slider goes back to zero but the other sliders (chubby legs/waist/whatever) don't immediately go to zero but linger instead

Literally how it works. pregbelly is instant, while other sliders are the "pregweight"

try changing the diminishing returns threshold to something absurd, just spam a bunch of 9, this must be done in the custom.json file that the mod generates.

No idea what causes this, double check that you have all of the requirements. if that doesn't work, create a separate profile with minimal load order and see if it works.

Fair enough, must be something wrong on my end. I'll do some more testing

Just tried this on a full load order with default settings (i.e. I didn't bother to change any settings) and in start room for Alternate Perspective using debug menu.

Happy to report that it no longer breaks after Gems birthed goes over 99. (Managed to get it to 108 and then stopped)

I think semen lvling is broken, Gonna run another fresh start. To make sure its not me

edit: I think this is more of a me issue, reset SoS now NPC semen lvls are lvling. Still trying to figure out why PC not lvling

edit 2: forgot to mention using 1.7.5

is there a console command i can use to trigger the clean all / reset option that would usually be in the debug menu? i can't seem to access that specific page in the MCM, the rest are working.

Posted (edited)

I figured out the issue. The debug menu in the MCM is different from the Main Menu Spell. Even though the debug menu says this character is able to produce semen, I had to use to the Main Menu Spell to turn it on. Also I've noticed that some of my followers had Gem off or Milk off. It seem to be random.
