Does any height or body type randomiser mod exist?

Simply that, while porn mods are fun, having the same characters with different hairstyles does tend to get boring after a while, is there any bodytype randomiser mod around there? Even Just one that adds a couple different ones would be appreciated

I agree with Indarello that bodygen is the best solution for people who aren't themselves modders. As someone who enjoys making outfit mashups, however, it's extremely easy to create random linked lists of outfits with completely different body shapes, even of the same outfits with different sizes.

My game has well over a hundred different wigs randomly assigned to settlers along with a gigantic list of random outfits with random sizes without using bodygen.

Fallout 4 is a tremendously flexible game such that you can do almost anything you want if you take the time to learn the tools. Indarello surpasses me by light years in many aspects of modding, but one doesn't need to be an Indarello to have fun modding a game to their own tastes :)

Minus the part where there's not yet a sex mod that's worth a pig shit or even a first person camera, sure.

Are you using stacks of leveled lists, or is there a scripted mod handling it?

I've spent a few months working on something that does wigs and clothes, and I wouldn't mind seeing what other people are working with, so I can add improvements to mine. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/60875

Hi, Tzenrick. No, I don't use stacks of levelled lists.

I created a levelled list for wigs I add. Specifically, each time I find a hairstyle I like I perform the following steps:

1. Create Armor Addon record(s) for the hair. If the hair has multiple parts like main hair, accessory and hairline each part gets its own Armor Addon record. I make sure the combination of the hair at the very least uses the long and short hair slots, and if an accessory is used I put that in the headband slot.

2. I create an Armor record which combines the Armor Addon records into one wearable headpiece. I make sure the slots used in the Armor record match the combination of slots used by the relevant Armor Addon records. I also put the variations for randomized hair colors into this record.

3. I create a Constructible Object record (in case I feel like adding a wig via the chemstry workstation or in case I want to be able to deconstruct the wig)

4. I add the Armor record to my Wig Levelled List. Every wig I create gets the Armor record added (so it grows over time).

5. For all settlers and any other characters I want to have randomized hair I figure out what the Default Outfit record is for them, and I make an override for the outfit and add the ID of the Wig Levelled List.

This means that every time a settler spawns in my game, he or she has a random hairstyle (in form of wig) with a random hair color.

If I want to manually add a random hair to an NPC in game I can just target them in console, type "openactorcontainer 1" to open a trade menu with them and then type: "additem [the ID of y wig levelled list]" to NPC.

I actually go much further than that, though. I have my own random levelled lists of custom weapons I make, of outfit mashups and of of nude body presets (in case I don't want the NPC to wear clothes but want her to have a random body shape). Then I create a batch file called additems.txt.

That additems.txt adds a random wig, a random outfit, a random nude body, a random weapon, a Photolight item for facelight, ten stimpaks, a Nuka Grenade, French Nails (modified to work with Fusion Girl but also compatible with male NPCs) and a couple of other items.

I just type "bat additems" and automatically add all I need to NPCs manually if I they aren't NPCs that spawned with my outfit overrides :)

a random nude body

Is it a nude skin for the body, or are you using something that causes a new/regenerated bodygen body?

I'm using Zella's Dyed and Pastel wigs, and one just called Wigs. Are there other sets available? (I'm always looking for more.)

heres a pretty good tutorial on how to use bodygen.  follow it and you can have your npcs generated with different body shapes that you define.

Thank You. I'm good with bodygen, and quite aware of how to use it. I have a set of presets that go with my mod, and I use my own hotwired version of Rad Morphing Redux. I was just asking if @Indarello was using something that forced bodygen to use a specific preset. I want to add it as a feature to my OutfitShuffler mod. I'd like it to optionally operate on any random out shuffle, and a hotkey to change the body while maintaining the outfit. I'd also like to be able to find a way to script face+body changes from LooksMenu presets.

Indarello, if you have a way to force bodygen to regen, I wanna see your code.   lol

Making nude bodies with different skins is fairly simple (you just set the texture you want in the Armor Addon record). However, I never let linked lists swap skin textures randomly because you need to have matching hand textures. So I only ever change skin textures manually.

FYI, to set skin textures for hands you just make a variation of either French Nails or of Naked Hands to use the skin of your choice. But you always need the hands and body skins to be equipped as a set.

So what I mean by nude bodies linked list is every time I make a body preset I like (and I have dozens I like for Fusion Girl, all of which I made myself) I immediately create a BodySlide mesh for the preset and link it to a new Armor Addon Record which then gets an Armor record, etcetera.

Those Armor records then go into the linked list and what I randomly assign as dsired.

I've been doing it that way since long before Body Morphs existed (i've been doing it that way since at least 2017, maybe 2016).

BodyMorphs are nice, but mu Fallout 4 game is already built around my method, so it's too late for me to change :)

As for Zell's Dyed and Pastel Wigs, I never heard of those. The only wigs I have in my game from a different mod author is what comes in Unified Clothing Overhaul (an awesome mod I've been using since it came out). But the UCO wigs don't go into my linked list. I only put wigs I make myhself into my linked list.

I use this config, you can check bodygen reset also here

I managed to get this put together. I just have to read some more, and change the angle I was coming at it.

I'm still hoping to find a way to force a neutral facegen, and then apply a looksmenu preset.
