Cant get SoS to work?

Ive installed SoS using Vortex and when i install any other mods that use SoS or sort plugins with LOOT i get an error saying that the "Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm" and the "Schonlgs of Skyrim.esp" is missing?

 

Not sure how to fix this as im still a relative noob to modding. Rest of my game is modded and works great just after several attempts I cant get this mod to work.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Also forgot to say, but im running the latest version of Skyrim SE, the AE edition essentially, and have the latest edition of SKSE64

Check the plugin isn't disabled in vortex. (Click Plugins - Status (Select disabled) to see which ones are stopped.

tried that and its not disabled, it says its enabled but then any other mod that requires SoS says its missing masters then refers me to the files i said in the initial post  then starting a new game it says SoS is disabled as well, i assume for the same reason of the .esm missing etc. thank you for the advice

You need to install and enable both SOS SE and SOS AE. SOS AE only provides the dll and optional xml files for physics. You need to set these two mods so SOS AE overwrites SOS SE, otherwise it won't work.

This solved the problem! However i encountered another one instantly lol now i start a new game and my character has no animations? hes just stood up straight and glides around, ive updated my FNIS, do i just need to get more animation mods or something? Thank you for all your help.

You need to run FNIS and check all the text it prints once it finishes, if there are any warnings or errors you must fix them or else you'll have broken animations in game.

solved it for me.

 

EDIT: Apparently my character cannot get an erection, he's just stuck with a flaccid tool. Wish I could figure out if I'm doing something wrong or not :^/

The error I keep getting is SchlongsofSkyrim.dll not found or too old. Found -1, Expected 300004.

 

I have reinstalled SOS multiple times.

The mods have just become obsolete, waiting for an update but I think that over time, nothing will come out because the game is starting to give up.

I use MO instead of Vortex so I'm not sure if this applies here, but higher priority numbers load after lower priority numbers. Try moving AE to priority 8 and SE to priority 7.

SoS defaults to underwear if you don't have any schlongs installed IIRC. I think the ones that come with SoS by default are called smurf's or something? Have you enabled their esp?
