Objectively false without even needing citation. FO4's rendering is an openfaced trainwreck and the only margin where FO4 beats Skyrim is shifting around already loaded assets in active memory, which has jack shit to do with the GPU and is only directly affected by ram speed and bandwidth.

I don't know anything anymore. I finally found my first mod (Crash Log Tools) that's AE only that would might be worth upgrading for. Which is why I googled this morning looking for posts a week or less old, and found this perfect topic. I've been modding a long time and the only reason I left LE, finally, was stability. And tools. Giving up the better ENB was hard, but SE is simply a better modding environment and all your LE skills will transfer and be easier to use. The one thing that's truly different with between LE and SE/AE are the newer low level Skyrim engine programmer's tools available. That's led to some truly fine dynamic animation replacement, item replacement, and on the fly patching of load orders. Whether you go AE or SE, I'd recommend looking at mature mod lists for the newer MO and mod tools setup first. I started this build shortly after AE and because there were a few DLLs I wanted that weren't transferred yet I stuck with SE. I used Lexy's but there are others. But modders will tire of maintaining two versions so I'm now mucking about with building an AE one on the side.

I really want to build a stable system and not bother with Skyrim updates for a while, and all the mods that have been made for SE are already plenty for me. I only encountered two update-fanatic modders, namely the creator of the Unofficial Patch (but you can get his older archives off Nexus with a direct link), and the creator of Open Cities who from what I understand went as far as nuking his Nexus account just so that nobody would be able to download his older versions and use his mods with anything but the latest version of Skyrim.

I Only tested it once and uninstalled it pretty quickly cause my Pc couldn't handle it so well ? Otherwise, without any mod the only bug i could recognize as one were the Floor in Talos Temple which vanished but wasn't due to anything Arthmoor fucked up. Lighting Mod needed to be reinstalled
SmedleyDButler Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 I loved Open Cities, but patching for it is a nightmare. 1
Lajustwantposesbro Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 (edited) As someone that has AE working I think my input will be better than other people. As of now, AE is working FINE. No problems at all. It feels the same as SE. Dont listen to people say AE has no mod support. Almost all the mods that use SKSE or scripts have already been updated. Im running AE with racemenu, skse, enb, even osex xmpe32, faster hdt and cbpt. The only mods that I havent been able to work is 1st person point of view, because its apparently even buggy on SE. and a plugin to get angle shots in screenshots.
