Jlbbly Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Well, aside from the bad title name, I could use some help regarding Sexout. I'm getting strange issues within my game using Sexout, For one most of the textures get all mixed matched and I get the big ole', "Exclamation mark," on most of the armors. I do have ArchiveInvalidation installed via NMM. I'm also getting a strange issue for when I see the mixedmatched textures and and the "Exclamation mark" I can't seem to open or use anything nor able to save, nor able to use the, "Esc" key to open the menu so I'm forced to use the console to quit. Also with the PN huds, I often got a red screen just a blank square red when I went into first person with an Elite Riot helmet, and the Pip-boy world map. The only thing I use that modifies quite a bit of textures is the NMC small pack. I'm currently using, http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/165-sexout-compilation/ for most of the sexout addtions. With the added maturinty clothing merged in. Also regarding the compilation I do have the SexoutLust.esp unchecked as said by, It is posted in the Breeder OP that it conflicts with Lust. Do not use them both together. The merged patch I made has NO Sexout mods in it, I made sure to uncheck everyone to make a recent merged patch. I disabled quite a few of the eps due to crashing to desktop, still trying to find the bugger that does it. I loaded all of them except the merged patch with FNVEdit and found that any aren't missing any masters. I do all all the requirements for Sexout. I can attach some photos if need be. Sorry if I left anything out, but getting these mods to work is quite the hassle by yourself. Obligatory; "u brokke my game m girls is invisibal" Sorry for the long read!
RitualClarity Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 There are many many issues that need to be fixed. First you need to use FOMM for loading Sexout mods. This is the only supported reliable tested and reliable way to load Sexout Mods. I am told that NMM has issues managing them. I don't see MCM. I hope you didn't use the merged patch for any Sexout Mods. The above is a start to get moving in the right direction. There is alot of work to do.
Halstrom Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Possibly just way too much stuff installed, maybe you've hit the mod limit. Did you install the Sexout stuff a bit at a time and get the Sexout basics working ok first? Dump NMM and use FOMM.
Jlbbly Posted July 13, 2013 Author Posted July 13, 2013 @ritualclarity The merged patch has no Sexout related stuff in it, just some armor packs and a few quests .esps from what I see. I do have MCM installed right above the weapon mod menu, it does work since I install it after PN. @Halstrom Well, could never get into fomm, seems like the dev abondoned it like the BOSS guys. Seems all they do is just wank it to Skyrim. NMM does have issue with installing scripted installers like PN. The only time I get crashes is installing PN/MCM/JIP/WMM. I'll try it with a few basic Sexout mods.

It is good that you don't have any Sexout mods included into the merged patch just make sure that is so and that should be ok. You should really get and use FOMM for Sexout. As far as FOMM being abandoned it might seem that way. It is mature and works very reliably and has many tools that can prove useful as well. If you are adventurous I believe the author of SexoutNG is working on a beta version of FOMM with a few new features as we speak. It is on this site I just don't have the link with me right now. As Halstrom mentioned above in a question you really need to work a few Sexout mods into the game because you are a beginner and aren't familiar with the workings of Sexout. Sexout Compilation should be used by individuals that have some understanding of the various mods as a nice short cut. I use it after loading up all the required textures and such that aren't included. Also you really have too many mods. Try dialing some of them back. Uninstall all but the most needed for this play though. Also if you plan on running a Breeder game I strongly advise you to only run SexoutNG, SCR and Breeder and maybe one or two conversation mods. Don't try to run lots of other Sexout mods as they can cause problems other than the conflict that is indicated with SexoutLust. Breeder is script intensive as well as SCR and SexoutNG. These three can put a major hit on your computer as well.
DoctaSax Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 My money's on too many mods - well, 5 cents' worth. Especially with the combo of menu problems + missing textures/meshes. That's what I had when I had this - also, containers' inventories wouldn't open to me at the time, but it's not a necessary symptom of the same disease. (I'm also gonna go ahead & say there could be a problem with UHNV - last time I checked it, half a year ago, to troubleshoot a dialog conflict with SOFO, I saw something looking like the addtopic bug, and I see reports of other stuff too. The addtopic thing is an easy geck fix if you can stomach reverting to a save from before you installed it, and I can walk you through it. A regular clean save doesn't help there. Can't speak to the other bugs.)
Jlbbly Posted July 14, 2013 Author Posted July 14, 2013 @ritualclarity; Thank you, I'll dial some of the mods back and only try out a few simple ones. It would nice if the compilation author did include links to all the mods he added to it. Just my two cents. @DoctaSax: Really? I only have roughly 140 all together doesen't seem like much, but I guess, I should dial some mods I don't need back.

Varies for different configurations though. Some could load 150, some 130 and in rare cases 180. We had a thread here in tech support about it going some time ago.
RitualClarity Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I haven't learned how to do this yet but I have heard that people combine some mods together into larger more easy to maintain mods. Armor mods, Weapon mods.. not anything complex like Sexout mods or mods that have scripts and quest etc. Errors seem to occur. I think it is possible however it would essentially mean that you would be rewriting the entire mod and any supporting mods and such. Way to much work to get those to be merged. ... you might as well made your own mod at that point... That may not help with any texture limits but it will help in managing your load order. Make a armor esp. Body esp, etc. Easy load and remove. These will be things that you can't live without. I also believe that creating a BSA for many of the esm mods. ( in my case I did it to massive SCR requirements) seem to help the texture issues. It also seems to be smoother and generally more responsive. Also I believe the type of mods affect the soft limit. (i believe that is the term that is used for this effect as opposed to the 255 hard limit of the game engine) Those that have more intensive scripts like SCR, Pregnancy, Breeder make big hits on the computer. This is unavoidable. Finally FNVedit can be used to "clean up" some of the mods and conflicts that are there. I believe the term is "dirty edits" where errors are there and that can be cleaned up. This can help streamline the mods and perhaps make the difference in adding one or two more mods. I am not able to do that yet myself but it is on the "to do list" well actually on the "to learn list" first... Bottom line if you want the sexout mods to work well make sure you have copies of all your favorite mods and all the instructions to load them etc. Remove everything, mod managers, scripts, game everything and start over using FOMM and a base game. Verify cache and make sure you have a good start. Load NVSE and NVSE extender. FNVedit, GECK and BOSS and any other tools that you believe are needed for future modding and such. Then back up the folder. Then start loading SExout and SCR etc. One at a time. Test after the base has been loaded with one mod , If that works start adding some of the most important mods (non sexout mods) then when you have those working go back and start deciding which regular mods and sexout mods are needed and slowly add one or two at a time until you start to get issues. Roll back some of the last mods that you installed and play on. As for the links for the downloads I would advise only using the ones in the official download section at this time. They are the most active and current. If for some reason you can't find a particular sexout mod or have some issues with a texture and such if you start the above post back here and bump the file. Someone should be able to help. For the combination and cleaning you will need some nice tutorials and patience. This should give you a nice start on solving your problems and provided "some assistance" as well.
jaam Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 In order to merge, try this script in FNVedit: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37981/. Last version I checked was working for FalloutNV as well as for Skyrim.
Halstrom Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 FNVPlugin is good for merging mods, but I would only merge smaller armor/clothing mods or weapon mods, not quest mods or game changers, I wouldn't merge anything likely to be updated regularlly.

I just dug it up and now have it in my Sig. "Tracking Down the Plugin Limit" It is actually quite informative with many of those "in the know" discussing this issue and testing them on their machines. Some post even have discussion of their various hardware and some of the results and even some ways to possibly increase the limit by limiting the processor used in the .ini config etc. If you are curious check it out.
