That's part of Skyrim's vanilla quest about the Butcher of Winfhelm. Nothing to do with Alicia.

ok  im just wondering how  to get the ball rolling with  this  mod do i acually have to own the  house?  or  can i just have completed   the  quest  cause you get the key for the house  and all even if you havent  really bought it from the steward and  cleaned  it  up? and i am using  EFF  but so  far she works  fine  with it  though   i dont  see  a follow command  or  whatever... but i didnt  see  that with  UFO  either ...  so... at the moment   shes  stuck in the basement.

 

You don't need to get the house to have Alicia.

 

If she is just standing there, try going in the basement through the outside entrance (around the left corner of the house when standing in front of it).

There is a safety trigger next to the basement entrance to reset her in case she is not following.

Hey, I installed this mod last night, I gotta say this is the most enjoyable and original companion for skyrim, the voice acting is great also. Much respect to the original author, the voice actress and skyrimll for continuing his work. Thumbs up

 

I'm very careful with my selection of mods, I have 0 lagg, 0 ctds with my setup before installing alicia and I will test her properly and provide feedback here.

 

Ive been doing a stresstest to see how she fares and gotten to a point where if her split personality comes out (if you can call it that) and I use the control rod to change her back to alicia my game will freeze right after I get the message Sanguine has returned a new alicia to you. Then I have to ctrl, alt + delete to close the game.

 

I'm wondering if anyone else has expirienced this freeze and know of a possible fix.

 

Edit: After more testing It seems like the problem came from holding a torch in my left hand whlle using the control rod. After unequipping the torch I got a weird animation glitch where I had toggle magic and back to be able to get out of the pose. So the problem was most likely related to fnis and not this mod

Hi, I made alicia/ali do all the killing for me, I just support her with heals and buffs.

 

sometimes she gets to a point where she no longer fight just take more and more punishment (weapon sheathed or still in her hands but not in combat stance) and she keeps bumping the enemy..

 

I think some SL animation is going to play there but bugged out?, can you make her do the SL things once all enemies are dead?

Thanks... this is nice to know.

 

So far, I suspected maybe Zaz items for the issue, or the way I am adding them to Alicia. I am thinking of using outfits the same way I did with Fjotra in the Sisterhood of Dibella. That seems to work better to give an NPC random chains and gags.

I do... but I have to add more safety checks to handle heavy fights. It is possible she stops combat, tries to start an animation and gets hit back into combat right away. 

 

I will add a note about that.

So i was reading this trying to figure out how to give her more of a body then just the vanilla one and i have CBBE so how do you apply CBBE to her? Love the mod btw

I found ali inside the realm, then going aggresive to a caged alicia. she lost, alicia is too stronk from my daily beatings.

 

I didnt seal anyone, I activate the switch and suddenly both of them became best friends.

 

am I breaking something/feature if I recruit ali while I still have alicia following me? (I use EFF and ali works great with it)

No... it should be working as intended.

 

In terms of game mechanics, if you activate the switch with both soul shards outside of the chest, it means you want to keep Alicia and Ali active and in balance. When you press the switch, the quest stage progresses and the scene/fight between the two stops.

 

In terms of story, you can think of it as this - you decided Alicia and Ali should accept each other and embrace their nature, so they stop their fight.

Sorry to hear that... if you get an instant CTD with the mod installed, then you are still missing something.

 

- Did you install FNIS and launched the GenerateFNISforUsers utlity?

- Did you install SexLab and Zaz animation framework? 

- Do you have an advanced skeleton such as XPMS?

- Did you install and launch BOSS or TES5edit ? These are not required but they help a lot with missing dependencies between mods.

 

You could also share your load order in case we can help with that as well

In the optional file, you have these two folders:

 

Vanilla-body\meshes\

Vanilla-body\textures\

 

Copy the 'meshes' and 'textures' folder from 'Vanilla-body' into your Skyrim/Data folder.

 

Windows should ask you to confirm you want to copy on top of existing meshes and textures folders there.

 

If you do not get a warning from windows, then you are copying the folders in the wrong place.

 

Then, once they are copied, go into:

 

Vanilla-body\meshes\actors\character\AliciaPainSlut\Human to customize mesh files with files from your favorite body morph

 

and

 

Vanilla-body\textures\actors\character\AliciaPainSlut\Human to customize textures for that body

 

Normally, these files are under 'meshes/actors/character/female or character-assets. That will depend on the files you are trying to customize.

 

Finally, once you have customize your shape and textures, open AliciaPainSlut.esp in the CK editor, go into the Actors list, click on Alicia_Painslut and press CTRL+F4 to refresh her face tints. Otherwise she will have a gray face.

they even share same amount of cuts and bruises

 

but I have not seen any feature alicia has in ali. things like 'moans in pain', 'begging for release' etc..

does ali have these features?

think I found the problem, the reason for the CTD was because I downloaded the wrong ZAZ file, I dl 51, not 54 lol

Some hints were already posted in previous parts of this thread.

 

In short, after Ali appears, talk to her until she mentions Sanguine.

Then when Alicia comes back, talk to her until she tells you about her father. She may need some convincing.

After that, a marker for her birthplace will appear on your map. Go there...

 

The books are there for the back story but they are not essential for the quest.

No.. having both means they have an equal chance of switching between one and the other. You still should have only one at a time.

 

Ali has some of the features of Alicia but she doesn't need as much attention from you as her counterpart. She has a different personality after all

Someone reported the same issue when using DG files to customize her shape. I looked at the files for DG and I can't understand why this is happening. Maybe DG needs a special skeleton?

 

She works fine with UNP and variations of CBBE.

The outfit is the Blade Dancer from Tera armors. Not sure if there is an UNPB version of it.
