You are just a random adventurer and not the dragonborn. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9048/? This one is not quite what I want. You hear (or read) about the dragonborn. He moves around Skyrim and you can follow him. He can shout and use weapons. He would have to be high level or unkillable for this to work. But you can follow him around and he will ask for help with things. Basically, the player could take on the role of follower. The player can not shout and you can't get dragon souls.

I don't think i'll actually run across a daedric nodachi from immersive weapons with glowing runes on it. There's a slight problem though, i suck at GIMP, got a bit experience with NifSkope but i'm sure i'd need a tutorial for it to get glowmaps working. You don't happen to know a good one? Sorry for asking but looking for tutorials via google is a royal pain in the ass. bedjoegelo Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 An actual item is going to need to be part of the items mesh or you will get some really ugly clipping results. I don't mind some clipping here and there, if there's some armor set out there that have tight body chainmail as separate part (not using armor slot) and can be worn as an extra equipment, i'll be happy, if its exist....that is...

jimdandy28 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I just made that glowmap myself. O_o It's no enchantment. Looks pretty solid too. I am personally not a fan of the color (I prefer white) and with a decent normal map so they look inset into the blade. As for enchantments I use a replacer that gets rid of the graphic entirely, which is part of the reason why I much prefer glowmaps. That animated replacer that was linked looks pretty good, but they are not effected by anything that effects vanilla enchants (like removing charges) and the mesh is set for vanilla weapons, so for a significant number of custom weapons they look like crap, either not extending the length of the blade, or worse extending much further, not to mention the ones that curve so it doesn't follow it. In general I deemed it too much work to maintain/tweak for what I wanted.

All he would really have to do is follow a path, engage enemies along said path, have a couple of "quests" to give you. He would act like a follower in that you would go where he told but you would lead. For example, "go to cave x and clear out bandits." *He follows you to the cave, bandits die, he says "thanks for helping me." Maybe he would ask you to hold things on occasion. He would stop over or spawn in whiterun (breezeholm) and walk around with Lydia. Things like that. It could be a modified patrolling guard AI or that of a roaming bandit. I have no idea how to actually do this, but it seems like it's do able.

Jormungandr Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I'm still looking for a way to make it possible to turn the camera while static animations are played in skyrim, like vampire feeding or dismounting a horse. TFC unfortunately doesn't do anything when the camera is static.

As much as i like all those House Mods tried over the time, they all feel kind of empty, especially the biger ones. I know that i can use EFF or other Mods to "collect" NPCs to live in my Home but thats not the same if i look at the Hearthfire Houses where the Housecarl, Steward, etc go outside, do stuff and just look a bit more natural.
