Where Can I Find...? - Non-adult Skyrim REQUESTS

Question: Once we get around to Ripping Witcher 3 files, is it the same as Witcher 2 where they are allowing people to use their assets in mods, publically available?

I haven't looked it up, but i kinda doubt it. If you have to rip something in the first place, that's probably a sign right there. If they put the assets up themselves, then obviously you're in the clear.

they are no reason they not allow to rip tw3 stuff if they allow tw2. rip is already out for gmod/sfm already have some models from tw3. its just question  of time before the model come on skyrim .

as long you dont ask for money they should allow this. almost all the devs of game allow this as long its still free and proper credited

... That's not how it works at all. Allowing it for one game doesn't automatically allow it for another. And it's their stuff to do as they wish with it, there's no "they should" to be found here. Or if by "they should" you meant "i'd imagine they would", then that's also a no-no, because that means you yourself don't have confirmation about this.

If they've specifically stated somewhere that they allow it, then that's fine. But just because TW2's stuff is available, that doesn't mean automatically TW3's is, that's up to CDPR to specify if they haven't already.

Is there a house mod that adds a house that looks like it's been carved right out of a mountain? Preferably one that has some sort of secret entrance or getaway tunnel.

Driud's Den is like that, on the Nexus, has 2 entrances

Which one? The one by Saerileth or the one by kitty_k? Both looks interesting. Seems both are located on the same spot...

Is there a mod that makes the PC weak, while making the "follower" powerful enough that you are basically the NPC in THEIR story?

yeah, it's called "vanilla at Master / Legendary" - sorry, I couldn't resist :P

Being serious, I don't know the answer. My followers are always overpowered compared to me.

im looking for a tattoo or something that adds stitches all over the body like the ones in this pic or something fairly close. just stitches all over the body. doesnt have to be a tattoo, can even be a race, anything that can add them

Closest I found was Stroke of Death, but it looks more like vines than stitches. Your best bet is to design them yourself via Photoshop/Gimp or any photo editing software, this way you can get the precise look that you want.

yeah sadly i probably will have too v.v always happens that no one has this stuff, been searching for weeks. ah well i suppose

Found this for you :) http://dragonporn.ldblog.jp/archives/8163431.html

Does anyone know what happened to the Paradise ENB and the same author's Perfect Water and Paradise Water? They were on the Nexus and now seem to be hidden. If anyone has the files or knows where I can find them please let me know!

Bumping this again. If somebody could upload these that'd be great.

Where i can find this armor?

thank u

This appears to be an edited mesh of the Apotheus Light Armor - or the non-leather parts of the cuirass (above the belt) are hidden with alpha transparency.  This would not be difficult, as the mod author also made PSD files available for editing the textures.  This armor is also available in Immersive Armors version 7.1.

The gloves/bracers as well as the armor from the waist down (including the belt) are from elsewhere.

ha, as for now, all new game get ripped 2-3 week after they are out on gmod/sfm . nobody complaint about this. as i say, as long you didnt ask any money for this, you are in the right. they can only pick an copyright infrigment, but this is ONLY if you ask money for their stuff, thats the law, i didnt make the law.

they cant do anything if you didnt ask money, simple as that. this is available for everything. as exempl you can copy an extremly popular painting, as long you not ask money for it (and if the size is different of minimum 2cm, same for all, but skyrim port modify the size of meshes and textures anyway) you have all right.

copyright doesnt mean "you cant do anything with my stuff" , copyright mean "you cant make money with my stuff", its extremly different

Dude, what do you think piracy is? They don't necessarily make any money off it, and yet it's still cracked down upon. Nobody complains because nobody brings it to the attention of whom it may concern, that doesn't mean it's actually in any way legal. "BUT THEY'RE DOING IT TOO" is not a valid excuse.

No copyright can stop you from doing whatever you want on your own system, that's your business, but actually putting it up for download is a copyright violation. Stop and think about the name. "Copyright". Right to copy, right to use a copy, etc. etc.. You own a license to play your copy of the game, you don't actually own the assets or the right to put copies of it up in any way unless specified otherwise. Those assets are owned by the devs, they have the copyright on it, you do not.

I know full well that CDPR are bros through and through, but unless you can point me to where they've explicitly stated that TW3's assets can be legally ripped, you're seriously playing with fire.

Anyone know if there's a regular UNP version of this DA2 Flemeth armor that's currently UNPB BBP?

I tried downloading Bodyslide/Outfit Studio but it doesn't appear to be able to convert from UNPB BBP to just regular UNP. Don't know how else to do it.

Yeah Outfit Studio is a bit weird on that note. You have to convert it to CBBE first, then you can covert it to UNP. It won't let you do a direct convert from UNPB to UNP.

Is that only for certain types of armor?. I'm new to bodyslide but yesterday i converted a piece from UNPB to UNP skinny no dramas o.o

Well Bodyslide is different from Outfit Studio. Bodyslide you are just using the prepackaged sliders to set armors to your body type. Outfit Studio you are actually converting armors from different body styles to other body styles.

With Bodyslide it's as simple as pressing a button to build your meshes. But it has to be the same body style (UNPB to UNP for example) and has to have already existing preset sliders for it to work.

Outfit Studio on the other hand, allows you to convert any armor to any body shape, and add bodyslide capabilities and all kinds of other stuff. You have to actually shape the armor to fit the body types and stuff you're trying to convert to. It's like using a 3D Program to convert armors, while Bodyslide is just simple presets in the same body type.

Unless of course you meant to say Outfit Studio and not Bodyslide, then it's been a really long time since I've used Outfit Studio, but in order to convert any armor to your body shape, you had to convert it to CBBE first before converting it to your desired shape.

Two completely different programs. :P

Oh shit XD thanks for correcting me!. I guess i saw both those programs as a whole and not seperate entities. I've actually never used bodyslide before ^~^. Outfit studio on the other hand is an AWESOME tool and is a great to to use if bodyslide isn't cutting it :P

Thank you guys! YESS! I'm so glad this is possible.

I'd already deleted BodySlide but will try again.

ALSO: Does anyone recognize the vial-holder belt on this armor (pic)? Is it part of the armor, or possible to get it separately? The vials are so pretty x_x

EDIT: Nevermind, the author told me that the belt above was made with Nifskope using parts from Warmonger Armory. Looks like the bottles are from one of the Telvanni robe sets mashed with belts from others.

different country, different law, thats it. copyright have different sens in my country than in your i guess.

let me be clear

We give you permission to create fan work (e.g. machinima, 'Let's Play' or other videos, artwork and fan mods) regarding CD PROJEKT RED games, unless our legal Rules for a game in question say differently. You do not need our permission to monetize use of such fan work on video-sharing websites. Please remember that you’re responsible for your fan works (especially any content which you make or which involves third parties).

You can make CD PROJEKT RED Let’s Play and other fan works, but you’re responsible for them. And just to be clear, for all of you doing Let’s Plays on YouTube, we are totally fine with it and yes, when you monetize it we are also fine.

http://bar.cdprojektred.com/regulations/ <== official source

so, yes, they didnt have problem with modding , modding is fan creation. like i say, its legit and even not require their permission

edit: if you got a 404, just delete the %:uo% (other weird thing) at end of the web adress

First of all you're dead wrong on the law.  Ripping something and giving it away is still punishable by jail time and fines.

Goto the RIAA and BSA sites and see for yourself.  Here's right from the Business Software Alliance's page:

If the copyright owner brings a civil action against you, the owner can seek to stop you from using its software immediately and can also request monetary damages. The copyright owner may then choose between actual damages, which include the amount it has lost because of your infringement as well as any profits attributable to the infringement, or statutory damages, which can be as much as $150,000 for each program copied.

In addition, the government can criminally prosecute you for copyright infringement. If convicted, you can be fined up to $250,000, sentenced to jail for up to five years, or both.

So yes, copyright DOES mean you can't do anything with the owner's copyrighted material without permission

n. noun

1. The legal right granted to an author, composer, playwright, publisher, or distributor to exclusive publication, production, sale, or distribution of a literary, musical, dramatic, or artistic work.

Forget the legalities though.  There's a moral side to this also.  People that make games, write books, etc... depend on the money those products bring in to feed their families and pay their bills.

Oh the company pays them, not the game...  *rolleyes*    The company doesn't just pull money out of it's ass.  They pay the employees with the money made from the game.  No revenue, no pay, company closes.  Why do you think so many game companies have disappeared the last 10 years?  We've lost a few good ones also and been left with companies like EA that can survive the hit and are big enough to also not care about how bug ridden their content is.

If that doesn't click for you, let me put it in simpler terms.  You're stealing the money those people could have made because "you're entitled".  How much of YOUR time, labor and money are the rest of us entitled to, just because you have or make something we want?

jeeeze ..

i not talk about piracing, i talk about ripping for modding. rip is NEEDED for modding. even a simply shitty mod for skyrim need a rip of skeleton or parts asstes of the game.

nothing wrong about ripping a small parts of a game.

if this is bad, then go in tribunal and try to put valve in jail for allow ripping in Gmod/sfm ............... what ? you cant ? why ? because its free , because its not the full rip but only some lil parts.

its damn modding, not piracing, open your eyes ! its a big difference. you CANT go in jail or have trouble by creating a free mod for an game, even if the devs of the original game have not allowed this.

if you go in jail for this, then these devs have just to stop making game.

again, i talk about modding, not piracing. they are some limits thats everybody know. CDprojekt allow modding in their game and in others games by using their assets

and just stop to trolling this around, its not a thread for talk about this.

you say i m wrong, fine. we'll see soon enougth when TW3 mods come in nexus and all. keep an eyes on that and put them in jail

Not really. Bethesda tells you you can use these assets to make a mod for skyrim, but for example you can't port from FO3 to Skyrim or viceversa, they don't allow you. All you can do is using the assets from the game, for the game. You can find this all in the GECK / CK EULA, usually. Other companies don't allow modding redistribution for their game, but almost noone allows redistribution from other games, there are very few cases that I'm aware.

Without checking law books or things like these, take a look at the mods you can find on Nexus, they are a clear example of what you can or can't do in terms of law. If you find a model from another game, that model is usually made from scratch. The first thing that comes in mind, the outfit Jonas made taking inspiration from Borderlands, it wasn't ripped from the game, it was made from scratch. Instead, <insert modder here> was banned because published a mod with a ripped model from Borderland - you can't do it. You can re-create them, however. It's like a "performance", the same that happens for songs, only the ones recorded in studio are considered copyrighted but you can put a song of (some artist) played by you (or some live, too. However, not the original, this is the point)

Then, there are (very few) mods that use the assets directly ported from the original ones, but they are very few because it doesn't happen often that the devs explicitly tell you can use them. For example, you can find S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ports, on Nexus too (their are allowed by the creators), but you can't find for example Mass Effect ports, and you must dig on the net to find them (which doesn't mean they are legal, or you would have found em on nexus, just to say)

Now, for some context, i'm using Familiar Faces. If you're familiar with the "can't use the TAI command on the FF followers" issue and know how to fix it, i'm all ears there, but otherwise... is there a mod out there, spell/power or whatever, that allows you to completely freeze an NPC in place as if they had the TAI command used on them? One that even works through the aforementioned FF bug?
