Veck Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 I'm guessing to do this I'm going to need to change it to a Obj file and import it into outfit studio. it loads fine in body slide but not in game is there a way to convert it and its slides over? any help would be appreciated.
Veck Posted June 1, 2022 Author Posted June 1, 2022 OK so I've had some successes first I put the fallout 4 bodyslide files I wanted into bodyslide then I opened it in outfit studio then I loaded in Skyrim cbbe body (had to drag and drop it in as it kept deleting the fallout 4 body if I loaded from reference) next I selected both bodies make sure fallout 4 body was loaded in first. then go to the Slider drop down at the top and select conform selected. this should make it so any sliders you change on fallout4 body also change on the skyrim cbbe body. next delete the fallout 4 body and export the osd files. lastly start a new cbbe body project import the osd files and save it and you should have all the sliders from fallout 4 body now being able to go on the Skyrim body. now the problem I cant solve is that the fallout 4 body is in a different T pose then the Skyrim one so the arms don't morph correctly on some of the sliders anyone know away to pose the body to skyrims T pose? also this method wont get the skyrim body to look 100% the same as the fallout 4 one but it will be close.

You can import\ export any body to Skyrim of Fallout + using BS (I have Fallout 4 OS sliders working in Skyrim OS for any female body for example to make outfits ) You will need 3D app to rig, rotate bone nodes for skeleton alignment of the meshes + texture format conversion. Without 3D app (Blender \3dmax) its impossible for vertex deformation to align hands feet & the head meshes to body.

Ok thanks I'll be giving this a try when I have time also do you know of any good tutorials for rigging and everything in the 3d app to get it ready for Skyrim? (haven't used blender much) Also is there a faster way to have armors fit the body or am I just gonna have to use outfit Studio for each armor?
Mr. Otaku Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 The easier way top do it would be to eyeball it, take screenshots of your Fallot 4 body from all angles in Bodyslide preview window and just try to recreate it in Skyrim Bodyslide. I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but it's the quickest and easiest.
belegost Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 I saw some OS tutorials on SunJeong's YT channel. What I saw mostly concerned coverting armors to 3BA and I haven't looked much beyond but it's a start and perhaps you'll find what you're looking for.

Nightasy (LL user ) ytube channel is the 1st who made tutorials for 3dmx rigging and OS conversions of Skyrim and F4. watch his episodes for education.
