Sulivar Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 So it will take a little longer on my side, I have something I had to redo the complete body with the animations since the game crashed every 5 minutes and in games all the animations were buggy, I passed a little more time on the morphs so that it resembles the elvish morphology as well as possible and I managed to correct that but I have to go back to the UV + textures and baking, I also started doing Repanse. Sulivar Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) You must not exceed 60k per model beyond that it starts to become unstable, I base myself on N'kari who is one of the highest polycount models, it makes it 40k the error comes from there when I converted my model with these animations. Qtrme displayed an error but I converted the model and the animations associated with it, Asset editor crashes every time I try to apply my textures and the game crashes in a loop. I corrected these two errors but I had to redo part of the model and all the UVs and adjust the textures accordingly which is also good for optimization since the body is now in a single asset. I combined them all into one map for the model and another for the hair and one more for the armor. Currently I am backing up my textures to get as close as possible to the initial model (see the first image.) With that, I'm going back. Â Edited February 27, 2023 by Sulivar 2

Popular Post Sulivar Posted March 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 1, 2023 I'm finally done with the skin textures for alarielle, I had to face many errors and redo the uvs and also reduce the polycount again but I'm satisfied, I combined the uvs in a single map to only have one texture set for the body and only one mesh for the perfs, I just have the hair to do and it should be good, I also finished Repanse, there last images that's what I will try to import with textures in 4k the others are the rendering model in blender before the decimation of the textures and the model. Sulivar Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 I finished some nice hair that can be imported into games, it's not a static mesh but a model with its skeleton, the hair should therefore move a little according to the movements of the associated model, more only to combine all that, small eyebrows touch up the cards a little to reinforce the skin tone and make a nice little package. Sulivar Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) Another error flopper for converting new hair animations, asset editor is a fantastic tool but for animations and adding new materials and animation and rig it is really limited, I gave up looking for solutions for correct them and I only use this tool for the conversion so I must systematically go back to Blender at the slightest modification since I can no longer see the model in asset editor and therefore, convert back to fbx with qtrme then redo this in reverse and test in games. It's with the assembly of hair A and B with their skeletons that he doesn't seem to like but it works perfectly in games. I also edited the default pause. However, I succeeded in everything I had planned after restarting whar3 dozens of times to see the result. I'm going to take a break and then do the final textures. Sulivar Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Two small problems which I hope will be the last ones, the armor does not reflect my textures and she and she are still too high in polycount and if I further reduce it distorts the mesh, I will replace it by taking parts from the model of base and texture the whole, the second and the duvet, I have a little trouble including the movement effects with the curves since I have to do them one by one with the weight paint in blender for the links to the armature and tests them but it happens. 7

The textures are in 2k if I go to 4 the loss of performance is too important but the body on the other hand the body I replace the high poly body If you have any problems don't hesitate to contact me. Â for the armor it's like a house of cards the current model is at 21,532 vertices content all the polygons, I can go up to 90k according to my tests but, it will work but it will be at 10 fps with a big config, the game engine takes high definition textures well, but it has its limits in terms of polycount per model. Sulivar Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 I'm almost done for this one, I opted for fabric strips or simple fabric, I'm still hesitating about the color, I also finished a leather set that sticks well black bdsm style, I would make a third one inspired by the basic materials and it should be good for this party, I will also make a classic armor in for the workshop with my patreon in connection for those who wish to support me, so it will be my first mode there (I also made new eyes, I will post all that once). I'll make sure you can change the armor whenever you want to choose the one that suits you best, but for this part I don't know if I'll succeed, I'm quite comfortable with Blender and Zbrush but still a novice in asset editor and rpfm. I also started doing a "slightly different variant" of alarielle with another set but that will be a surprise. For Repanse, I made a morph from Alarielle's body with these animations already built to place the new textures but the rendering is too far from the original body, the one in the photo, so I would directly import the body with these own animations so it will still take time to redo all of them. Â Â Nice! I like the look of it! I would suggest earthy colours, or maybe just pure white, with a brown or leaf green wreath pattern on it. Keep the base colour theme, as it were. Â Does it go right down to the ankles? Ending in anklets?

IIRC, it is possible add some "path" like that of Daniel's with the chaos gods. But for some *other* pantheon, it is extremely difficult (impossible?). So that's unfortunate
Sulivar Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Sorry friend, but I know almost nothing about RPFM and asset editor, for Alarielle, I used asset editor just for conversion and configuration and variantmesh.ini, and rpfm, just portraits. 95% of the mode was done on Blender, krita and zbrush, what I wanted was not to use resources from the game.
