---Bug fixes--

 

-Fix for the Boss Absalom. When you fight him for the first time, in some parts of the scene, his sword isn't red. This mod I made fixes this bug of the original game.

-Sometimes, by using mods, some sprites of NPC will look weird and here are the fix. It doesn't change their sprite, it just fix them.

---Male NPCS--

 

-This mod changes the guy from the entrance to the Arena. No longer is a policeman guarding a criminal establishment.

And these are all my mods. I hope you liked them. I think I made in total around 50 mods. The most difficult ones were Ann's costumes because they are made up of many different sprites.

Hello everybody, thanks heaps for mods ♥️, now i can see her shower properly 😁

i was wanting to get the start menu video attached without the menu overlay.  i am having trouble finding it in the game files. i found a folder with .usm files which i converted to mp4 but none of them had this. Can someone help me with this please?

The background of the menu isn't a video, it's a 3d render (unless I'm looking at the wrong thing and you're talking about something else). It's a mono unity game so it's very easily moddable using existing tools. You can just hide the Menu Overlay (Look for gameobject "LauncherView/UI_StartGame/") and screen record your game then.

Thanks for reply. Really appreciate it. Good news that's it's possible. Now I need to figure out how to do what you said as I have no clue.

Yes, the menu is ingame. The only videos are some scenes that change scenarios and many characters (like the tutorials, intro, ending, the boat scene, santa scene, ect. They are more pixelated and are easily noticeable) I don't know about editing 3D parts of the game. I only know how to change sprites with 3DMigoto (see this page and previous pages, like 90% of mods of this game are made by me. Since most people only want nude mods it seems they don't care about my stuff but I share them anyway. My goal was to make the game sexier but also with cooler character designs for the NPCs and better costumes for Ann and restoring beta costumes/concepts).

 

Too bad that I ignore how to replace the sprites and I've to use Migoto, if I could inject sprites I would do crazy things with battle costumes and the status menu sprite.

 

Anyway, I added pictures to the previous posts.

Yeah no your mods are awesome , I've been playing with them. Night club looks great with them. Regarding your second paragraph about sprites I've been working on something that might be of use to you, I'm working on a mod that can load costumes without overwriting existing outfits in the wardrobe as well as allowing overriding of a variety of other random sprites in the game (NPCs, posters, etc.). Just need to find motivation to finish it .

Here's a general guide to setup modding for the game (you'll want Unity Explorer for what you're doing):

Step 1. Download a mod loader, I've chosen "MelonLoader. (It's pretty user friendly making it a decent option. Alternatively one can install bepinex if they want.)

Step 2. Extract to the game folder (Under steam, right click the game in your library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse)

Game folder should look something like this now

Step 3. You need to unstrip the libraries in the Managed folder of the game. Unity will strip away useful game functions when building the game that are unused. We can simply restore these by downloading the libraries from archives online.

Are the two we want. Download the first one, and extract the files into the folder "Anno_Data\Managed", overwrite the files when it asks you

The two files are named the same! Make sure to delete the first one before downloading the second one to avoid any mishaps.

Download the second file and do the same with it, overwrite the files when it asks you to as well
 

Install Script

install.bat  uninstall.bat

Download install.bat and uninstall.bat to the game folder. (Under steam, right click the game in your library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse)
 

Simply run install.bat and fingers crossed it works successfully

 

After installing the above, you can now run your game and you should get a console window pop up with information.

If you want to disable mods you can in steam add the launch argument "--no-mods"

If you want to hide the console you can in steam add the launch argument "--melonloader.hideconsole"

It's also advised if you're a modder to install UnityExplorer as it's an incredibly useful mod for unity games.

 

Installing Unity Explorer

Step 1. Download from here: https://github.com/sinai-dev/UnityExplorer/releases/download/4.9.0/UnityExplorer.MelonLoader.Mono.zip

Step 2. Copy the folders "Mods" and "UserLibs" into the game folder

Step 3. Run game, and you'll see the menu (you can hide/show it with F7)

 

Under the object explorer you can then mess around with gameobjects in the scene. For example to toggle the menu UI look for "LauncherView/UI_StartGame" and disable it

I wrote (as another user) a guide in page 2 of this thread about how to make and install mods. Also I heard that maybe the last version of the game doesn't work with mods. I have the version (1.05.04.128061) and mods works at perfection.

 Remember, after finishing editing the picture, in Adobe Photoshop open the extracted texture (.png file), change Midtones Levels to a 0,48 value to fix the brightness,

This method only works on PC. However, if someone discovers a way to compile and decompile the Wii version files, they could theoretically be replaced. In fact, if a compiler existed, I could do wonders with this game. I've already managed to access new areas and change the camera perspective simply by editing the coordinates in the saved data or making new dialogues.

Hey all, 
It seems the game got an update and none of my mods work anymore. Is this just me or across the board?
Does anyone have any more recent mod updates, or know how to roll back the game files so mods can continue to be used?
