I'm not sure if this is the problem, but when I updated to the latest version of DD NG, NPCs from this mod, not all, but some cause random FPS drops to 3-5 for 30-40 seconds and then it goes away. This is especially true in a cave with a bunch of slaves from Hydra Slavegirls.

This is especially true in a cave with a bunch of slaves from Hydra Slavegirls. This mod hasn't been updated to work with DDNG. It's on my todo list for when I come back to Skyrim modding. Sorry, I can't support this mod with DDNG right now since I'm not familiar with it yet and don't have any constructive comments. I'd suggest saving before, during and after it when happens. Then use a save cleaner (like Fallrimtools) to open the saves and look for bugs to see if anything is broken.

Yeah, the ToH patch is long outdated and I should probably take it down now. It'd be safer just not to use the ToH patch anymore, especially with later versions. I'd suggest opening the patch in xEdit alongside the 2.7.3 version of ToH. That should show how the patch is intended to function. Then try to replicate those edits with the later versions of ToH. The main problem is that later versions of ToH may make changes to NPCs and outfits, and these won't be accounted for in my patch. So that needs to be accounted for. 1

I would guess that I need a plug-in which ties HSG to LC Masterlist. I have HSG, LC and LCM loading in that order (for the mods and the plug-ins). In game I the HSGirls are wearing Zaz stuff (ankles, wrists, necks with naked torso).

Do any of my patches already do that? Did I make a patch for all that a year ago? Or did we just talk about it? If not you, I'm 90% certain I did it already, either in forum or PMs. Or is it that you want a Zaz-free version of the Lux patch? I looked back over our PM convo from over a year ago, my brain will let me see the words but not understand them right now lol.

I got some patches up and running for Hydro Slave Girls : I didn't go deep but saw the 2 slaves in pillory at Riverwood being replaces with foxes! Whereas Buttercup (Half Giant's Slave) is working well and has face and Hair of that of IW. I did see the previous discussion about using Wyrn Bash, I have even it, but haven't ever used it. Any possible solution or suggestion?

Will removing the tag repair and re-replace the creature with NPCs? --------------- Edit --------------- SOLVED ( KINDA ) : Context : New game - relatively less cell visited - Riverwood was one. Loaded mod mid gameplay - maybe somehow previous cell data was messing with NPC - used Proteus Mod from nexus to create Duplicate - Got slave with IW appearance and DD stuff equipped, deleted the fox.......... But for the same gameplay, earlier saves where cells weren't yet visited or accessed the NPCs were normal, no transformation observed. Apologies for the inconvenience if caused! Basically, the Creation Kit has the default race for all Skyrim NPCs as a fox. When the game doesn't know what race to set an NPC, it reverts to the default fox race. This is a known bug. It happens when you use another mod to autopatch your modlist, which changes the edits to my patches and breaks the NPC record. You said you aren't using Wrye Bash., Are you suing another mod to generate patches for your modlist? Like, for example, running Synthesis? Check in xEdit to see if anything makes changes to my patches. 1

Regarding the patcher, I haven't ever used it. Usually got files with attached patches and stuff.... i guess, because of that, i never bothered to learn it. . Am looking into such stuff now though. Was recommended Nolvus Modding guide by a friend for skyrim ( have GTX 1050 4gb XD, didn't run ). Then found a mod list PDF online, turned out to be having sexlab refs for 'FUN' stuff . Down the rabbit hole i went and am here since! Relatively New!

Down the rabbit hole i went and am here since! Relatively New! Yeah, Wrye Bash is really old and is obsolete now, don't use it. You mentioned using SSEdit. The best way to diagnose this is to open your entire modlist inside it and see if anything is overriding my patches.

When stuff starts visible and turns invisible it's a graphics problem. The game stops rendering some things when it gets overworked. I'm guessing that if you save and reload the items become visible again? If that's true then you will need to review your graphics and physics setup. Possibly the jiggle physics is too intensive for your computer.

No i mean like the hands when the arms come out of the binders which theyre not supposed to do and like the bar of the yoke when it stops working too not like random things which is usually a ref limit issue Edited July 14, 2025 by 7orus

They tend to fail when your computer is busy with other more important things. Sorry, that's not part of my mod and isn't fixable except by either- 1). Reducing the number of script-heavy mods in your game to help Zaz run properly. 2). You can look at Nuascura;s content to find a version of my content that doesn't include Zaz devices, and you can then use a mod (I forget the game) to make the devious devices animations controlled by SKSE and .dlls rather than ingame scripts.

THANE05 Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 I have issues with the Non-Devious Devices: they appear to block interaction with NPC sitting or using furniture. I explain: I use SES2 (Slaverun NPC Enforcer) that can convert entire populations to slaves wearing devious device (or Non-Devious Devices). And I have found that NPC wearing Non-Devious Devices became non interactable if they use a furniture. They are here but I can’t talk to them: the “talk to” don’t appear. For example in the Bannered Mare, Hulda can’t be spoken when she stays behind the counter, Saadia when using the cooking pot and other NPC when sitting on chair. And it’s not only the Bannered Mare: Carlotta Valentia or Arcadia can’t be talked to when they stand behind their counter for example. If they somehow stop using the furniture they become talkable again. I write here because I have not such problems with Zaz or “normal” Devious Devices. I could do the test because SES let you choose the type of device you want to use. And NPC in Zaz or “normal” device can be talked to when using furnitures. True, it can happen that an NPC became non interactable when fitted with those devices. But it’s rare. With Non-Devious Devices it’s nearly systematic. Any ideas?

It sounds like an animation issue, rather than a problem with assigning items. Do you use the mod that uses Open Animation Replacer for DD animations, I think it's called DDNG?

I disabled OAR and DDNG, rerun FNIS and bodyslide and tried a new game. Unfortunately the problem persists: it’s not that… Again I think your mod new version have a problem somewhere as I don’t recall such issue before. But, as pretty much everything is a new version since my last run years ago, I can’t be sure… Unless you have another idea, I will play with Zaz device for now…
