davisev5225 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 It was a silly attempt to upsell the Patreon membership (and make ads display longer), and I'm glad it's gone. Download timers have always been rather dumb - if you need your ads displayed for a minimum amount of time in order to get paid, you need to 1) find a new ad provider and 2) provide content that keeps eyeballs on a page, not create an artificial timer gate to force the issue. Thank you to whomever made the change.

Thank you to whomever made the change. lol, considering the rather static number of patreon members I highly doubt anyone is really getting rich off the LL patreon or using any sort of tactic to "upsell" the patreon membership

I'm still on lol dude if your seriously suggesting that they tried and recently ended a 6 year campaign to get people to sign up to patreon for...
