Yea they were just asking about a model swap mod...you don't have to like the mod they want cause everybody has different preferences and opinions and you don't have to like what they said either, obviously it was not meant to be offensive...even if it was offensive TO YOU, it doesn't matter, if you get offended then that's your problem...its your perception and only you can change your own perception...so don't go crying about being offended because it doesn't help you or anybody else. Don't be one of those people that is too offended by everything...it makes society worse.

Yeah I was just saying a model swap would be cool so we could play as Casca and Guts, but they took it in the weirdest possible direction lol.

How about instead you pay him & he releases the mod free for everyone. I hate paywalled mods.

I can't port the mods themselves. I would need their FBX or XPS formats. (Which is usually easy to find.)

If you tried importing a model out of that, you'd only get the default model. SoulCalibur works the same way. If you want the extracted model to look exactly how you created it in-game, you'd need to edit it.

That's how I understand it, at least.

I don't understand how it works. None of the bones are connected to a parent, so they can only bend their assigned pieces.

 

Can anyone recommend a substitute body? Or does it necessarily have to be that nude model from SmutBase?

That model is for screenshots and animations, it's not rigged for the game unfortunately. May be possible to rig the smutbase model to the ingame model's skeleton but there may be problems with facial animations. You might need to do a comparison of the models because the smutbase one may be based off of the original ingame model already.

Nailsman and I are going to each pay half for the nude Madam M mod, would you like to pay a portion too, cause if you did, then all 3 of us would only have to pay a third of the price and then the mod would no longer be paywalled, then we would collectively make it free for everyone else. Are you in?
