I see my guide linked, I would recommend the MNC install guide too, since mine doesn't cover creature content directly. You can still learn how to do plenty of things that will be useful (like checking for game/skse/mods versions which is relevant to the actual state of Skyrim SE) and it's specially tailored to MO2 users.

If you want to use other mod managers I would recommend you to learn how to use said mod manager, learn about version compatibilities and game updates and follow the MNC guide.
