It loads automatically because it is a dependency. I've already written what was the problem, game doesn't want to read facegeometry from your mods and reads one that is provided with LBS, original geometry BUT your plugins re-define face parts and this causes black face. I am 100% sure I've loaded both your plugin and assets after LBS, and I am 100% they are not getting overwritten by Overwrite in Mo2. Renaming your mod folders to make them actually overwrite LBS fixed the issue.

aurreth Posted January 3, 2022 Author Posted January 3, 2022 (edited) Part of the problem with getting these things packaged right for other people to use is that my version of Laura's Bondage Shop doesn't look anything like the stock one. I have a number of experimental changes and additions, so sometimes it can be difficult to sort out which files belong where. It doesn't help that I'm mostly used to modding large structures such as Vaults in Fallout 4, so I'm not 100% on the file structures for NPCs. So, I appreciate all the help getting these things straight. If anything else is broken please let me know and I'll do my best to get it fixed in a timely manner. Edited January 3, 2022 by aurreth

I chose a common hair mod that has styles I liked for the characters, and I really don't want to spend another hour per character flipping through hairstyles from another mod. ? Hair is honestly the most time-consuming part of this kind of mod, because soooo many hair mods consist of bloated iterations of exactly the same thing, differentiated only by things like the color of the hair band. Hair is easy to change, but it takes forever.
aurreth Posted January 29, 2022 Author Posted January 29, 2022 I'm finding an issue when using AE and DD 5.2 beta 4, where you can't talk to Laura when she's leaning on the shop counter. It's not that you can't talk to her period, but something about her positioning makes you wait until she stands up and takes a step back. I suspect this is a DD5.2 beta issue, but of course can't confirm that until the next DD beta or 5.2 release is out. It's mildly irritating, so until something changes I'd recommend not using the Laura makeover if you are using 1.6.353.

I get this issue also but I can live with it for now, no other issues so far with textures etc. I am using the latest AE install and DD 5.2 Beta4. @aurreth, are you planning to expand the makeovers to other NPC's from this mod? If so, may I request Jade be next? I've actually thought about Jade, but I'm waiting to see how prominent she is in the next installment. In general I don't consider it worth the effort for an NPC you only see once or twice. I'd also have to hunt down the outfit changes for her, and the way LBS is constructed the Nightingale outfit she wears in Embershard might be buried in the main quest script, which I don't want to touch. 1

Only a dozen or so do, the ones who do the testing and provide editorial input. It's probably still a couple months out, but there has been definite progress. The next release wraps up the current story line. @Laura will probably take a long break afterwards, but I know she has a few ideas for some more light-hearted content in the future.

I always hate it when I see one thing from a mod I want to use but to do that I'd end up with a dozen questionable choices. Should be an easy merge though, none of them conflict with the others.

AE version, I use Expressive Facegen Morphs, tried to disable it, still not work after that.
LFQ Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 Can someone tell me why my Secure Steel Chastity Belt does not appear when equipped, but the Steel Chastity Belt shows up normally? all items with “Secure” in the name fail to display. I checked, and the “Secure” ones come from the DDNG mod.
