I just downloaded sims 4 today so i have the newest version 1.81.72.1030

i downloaded v166d of WickedWhims

i have followed the instructions to a tee, watched youtube tutorials but just cannot figure what im doing wrong.

its the only mod i have in the mod folder so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues. both tuning and script are showing up in the mod list in game and both "enable custom content and mods" and "script mods allowed" are checked

when i load into the game the WickedWhims notification should pop up but it doeasn't. i have no "wicked" option when i click on someone or something. i tried the woohoo, try to make a baby, and have sex options all of which lead to them having sex under the covers as it is in the vanilla game. its like its i dont have any mod at all.

someone please help me. what am i doing wrong

Just to be sure.... you unzipped the files so they are script files and package files right? not RAR files

It says in your screenshot "Type: Compressed (zipped) Folder". That means your WW is still zipped. You have to unzip the files and remove the zip-file.

Note that with a double click on a zip you can still see it's contents, but the program cannot access the files.

Just wanted to report that I'm running version 1.81.72.1030 also and I'm having the same issue.  I can add something, however:  I also have the foot fetish mod for WW installed and it seems to be working perfectly.  If I click somewhere, select Wicked then the option to have sex, then select footjob, I subsequently get the dialog to select available sims and everything seems to work fine from there (animations play, etc).

If I try anything other than footjob (besides that it's all vanilla WW, latest version, no other mods), I wind up with error code 19.  Doesn't matter what settings I use (I've been trying for hours now) or anything else.  Tried with all kinds of different sims/households/lots/etc.  Same result every single time.

Hope that helps.  Also rooting for a fix soon!

Hi sirpip, I presume you have a last exception file. Could you upload the file here in the forum so we can take a look at it?

yes its all unzipped and the pathway is "documents/electronic arts/ the sims 4/mods"

Ok it's installed as the files are showing up on loading....delete the localthumbcache.package file in the sims 4 folder and try again..

Also is your one drive linked to you documents folder? if yes unlink it.

Did you extract directly to your mods folder? or copy the files over manually? look in you ww folder and make sure it hasn't put a copy of the zipped file in there too.

Where would I find that?  I checked the install path, the user directory path, and the Mods tree.  I'm not finding any file with a name like that anywhere.  Is there a game setting I'm supposed to use to generate it or am I just looking in the wrong place?

The L/E file will be in the sims 4 folder in documents....L/E files are generated when there is a game error....it will say "last exception file" or something similar.

Hi - I got the mod to work finally by taking the wicked mods folder out of the folder that says the game version etc and deleting all the files except for the two needed.
