What if a LE Skyrim couldn't find SkSe.exe

Today i referenced this video,

 and tried to install Sexlab framework,there was not something trouble,but i can't find SKSE file,maybe it was in a deeper folder?

In a deeper folder how? (I'm not watching that video). Installing SKSE is as easy as

1. Go to the skse website, get the 7z archive.
2. Open the zipped file and move things to your Skyrim folder, this is ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim. Not \Skyrim\Data.

Look, the skse_loader. exe is right there. You also need to move the "Data" folder and the two .dll files you see in the same picture.

1. You can also throw the entire content of this zipped file in your Skyrim folder.
2. You can also use the installer from the skse site, I have never done that.
3. If you're using Vortex I think it can also install this zipped file automatically.

Then you'll need to start the game using that skse_loader.exe instead of the default exe. If you use MO2 as your mod manager you need to do that through MO2. If you use other mod managers you should be able to start the game from a shortcut of that exe.

Well,my problem is that,when i try to use this to play the game,it always tell me that,without SkyrimSE.exe,I can't understand,is this because i wrongly downloaded SKSE?When l play LE version,l shouldn't download the Current SE build 2.0.19 from there?

SkyrimSE.exe -> Skyrim Special Edition

You have Skyrim LE.

You need the classic build (1.7.3). I usually include this info when referring to files, sorry for the additional confusion.

No, the exe, the 2 dll and the Data folder go in the \Skyrim folder. Not in \Skyrim\Data.

No you want the le build for skyrim unless you are playing se.

My feel told me, it's because of I wrongly downloaded Se SKSE for LE before today, but I found if I want to run the game via SKSE,I still need a Steam,or else, those inserts will not be functional.So I think there are two problems, one is Steam, another is l was added over 30 inserts, but never ranked them by loot

Yeh, as far as I am aware skryim requires steam, though I think you can also get it through the microsoft store now as well, but there is no gog version so no version without drma.
