Do I need FNIS XXL if I have Animation Limit Crash fix SSE by mrsrt?

As said above. I've read this note from Fore on the mod page: "Note: Since version 7.5 FNIS calculates how many percent of Skyrim's custom animation resources you have used up, and will warn you when you have reached at least 99% of the load which causes CTD. In addition, FNIS XXL will show how much each of your animation mods contributes to Load CTD. However, since this FNIS functionality was implemented, there are several SKSE plugins available which circumvent this Skyrim bug. Which means that the problem can be easily avoided by users of many custom animations. But since new users will not know about the fix, FNIS will still warn when the original limit is passed."

He lists SSE engine fixes and Animation Limit Crash Fix in question. Would it be pointless to use FNIS XXL and instead settle with FNIS base?

XXL allows you to register more animations.

The fixes are there to prevent a crash when too many animations are loaded ingame.

So you can't have too many animations to need said fixes if you don't have FNIS XXL to begin with.

yea the limit fix is kind of pointless without XXL FNIS.

but get xxl anyways, it's better to have it and not need it.

Thank you both very much for your answers.

You're welcome.

BTW if you don't want to worry about anim count for a while go for FNIS XXL + Anim crash limit fix.

If you also have SSE Engine Fixes set "AnimationLoadSignedCrash" to false (in the EngineFixes.toml file) so it doesn't clash with Anim crash limit fix.
