Maybe there is something weird with your sims, gender identities or something like that. Have you tried with a different household? Create a new save for testing purposes (wicked whims settings should be on default). Create a new household, one straight male and one straight female, both adults or young adults. Cheat their relations to max and make sure they consider each other at least attractive. Make sure there are available objects for sex interactions in the area. Try again and see if it works.

• With the selected location and sex category, there are no animations that match your Sim gender + any male gender.
• With the selected location and sex category, there are no animations that match your Sim gender + any female gender.
• The age of your Sim doesn't allow to match with other Sims. Teen only matches Teen, Adult+ only matches other Adult+.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims is currently going to have sex/watch porn. If they aren't, they could have stuck data that can be fixed by running the "ww.fix" command but that indicates some other issue.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims are unavailable (sleeping, rabbit hole, possessed, dying, in labor, window peeping, or leaving)
• All nearby Sims are event/vendor NPC Sims.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims are currently in their mermaid form.
• Your Sim and all nearby Sims create an incestuous relationship.

If any of these match your situation, then that would most likely be the reason for the message you see to pop up.

Perhaps this message could be improved and expanded, to include more precision information, but I'm not aware of any particular reason from this list to be a common enough case to introduce that.

So I've been trying to figure out if its a mod that is causing the issue but it seems like its random. I was testing out some positions and they worked, and then they started not working. The same positions and same locations I was using seconds before were giving me errors saying "Couldn't Prepare Sims! With the provided criteria of picked Location/ Object involved Sims, Age  Limitation and Gender Settings, no fitting Sims could be found nearby. Issue Code:19 start_sex_sims_picker_dialog. I sped up time to see if maybe it was just showing up because my visitor was leaving but they stayed, I did note that after I started getting errors again, someone did visit my lot. So I'm not sure if that relates.

In this case, it is possible that these sims have a value in the gender preference settings that does not suit your sim.

its been tested on various saves, new games, setting formats, mod combinations and it persists ill keep fiddling as best i can as currently i have no way to pinpoint where the issue is from

Here's a simple thing you can do to help solve this if you believe it's an actual issue. Share your save file, even if it's a new save file.

Setup a situation in which you want to start a sex interaction but it fails, save it and send it here. Make sure to tell me where and which Sims should do, what to click exactly to get this message to happen. I will have a look at it to see this for myself. Including the WickedWhimsInfoLog file would be very useful as well.

 try checking under attractiveness sex preference and then check under gender preference and occult preference sometimes I found situations where the occult preference was the only issue hope this helps

I'm having this issue too. I find if I save and go to manage worlds then go back to that sim, it will then work! Wierd!

I was having this issue too, have you checked to make sure the glitch where spouses/partners turn into siblings didn't occur? You can check by clicking on the sim in their relationship tab and clicking "view sim profile." It will give you a list of the relationships they have. The glitch has nothing to do with whicked whims, rather it's a rare bug that I think occurs with something to do with cas.fulleditmode. I'm not entirely sure what causes it though, and the fix for me involved using MCCC to completely wipe all existing relationships with my sim in order for it to reset my sims from seeing each other as both spouses and siblings. So weird.

Mine is a Peeping sim but it literally is in the options to allow peeping sims to join so why isn't it working?

Haven't played Sims 4 in more 5 months and updated the WW mods.  But in my case, a young adult and teen can't engage in sex and having this same error code while the last time I played this game, before the update, they can.  I remember I've downloaded a patch that let's you do it.  I don't know why it's not possible anymore.  Please help.

i'm having the same issue, tried everything in this feed.

i have a couple in the same room and  no animations are working, i only used the updated animations from july 2021 to now

and this has only happened from the new update so maybe there's just an issue with that for certain people including me

If you have the MC_Woohoo module installed try removing it.

I've tried various things to remedy it, but only restarting the game fixes it. If there is some condition causing the error message I'm not sure what it would be but it would have to be something that was cleared on save and restart. Perhaps the log is saying something I'm not knowledgeable enough to recognize!

To make it clearer what I'm saying:
>Try to initiate sex when I know a sim that should be valid is nearby on any of multiple surfaces(bed, couch, floor, etc), in any of multiple categories

>Fails with error code 19 seen in images posted before in the thread

>Save and close game

>Launch game and load save

>Try to initiate sex -> Success. Prospective partner is available for sex.

Edit: I noticed a curious thing. After restarting the loveseat referenced in the log above does not give the "sex" option under wicked as it did before, only "settings." As well the floor and bed show the desired sim as a prospective partner now where they did not before. I initially tried on that loveseat before trying and failing with the floor and bed. I wonder if that's somehow related. But I can't reproduce it as I don't even get the option now. Hmmm.

1. In game open the cheat console and enter:  ww.preference_hetero 100 all

 

2. Then enter: ww.fix

 

3. Now remove all mods to desktop in a temp folder.

4. Then delete your localthumcache.pkg

 

5. Load Game but only to the Map Screen, then 'Save As' 'Cleaned' or Whatever.

 

6. Time to do a Game Repair now.

 

7. Install Wicked + Animations Only back into game.

 

8. Load New Game to test without any other Mods/CC.

(This is only to verify WW is working OK before loading your old save and testing)

 

It's possible your old save is corrupted somehow.

But you cleaned it with steps 3, 4, & 5

Cleaning doesn't work all the time but it doesn't hurt to try it.

 

9. If no problems with WW sex in step 8

Delete your localthumbcache again.

Load your old save and test again with only Wicked + Animations

Don't make any new saves with mods removed just exit when done testing.

If it works OK now you can start putting Mods back into game and do more testing.

I also had this issue with some animations, not all of them. After hours and hours of testing, I found that I had duplicate animations in different folders - and some of them were outdated versions. I deleted them and now everything works fine. Maybe this will be helpful to someone.

Same issue Code 19 - Fresh install of the Sims 4 and latest version of WW. No other mods installed. Cannot use any WW command sex command without this appearing

I can confirm the solution from Scorpio.

The CODE 19 error where Teen cannot have sex.

WW settings > Relationship Settings > Relationship Utilities > Adult-Teen Relationship CHECK

Checking only teen sex switch in the Sex Settings will ONLY enable teen&teen sex. NOT ADULT-TEEN.

So I had this problem recently when I updated to ww 166e (game ver 1.77.131.1030). I had kept my exported settings, and just imported them with each new update.  Adult -teen, family, & open were already enabled when I got the error. After reading in here, I did a few things 

1. Went over my settings in ww to make sure everything was the way I wanted, and exported the updated settings 

2. Saved, exited the game 

3.. Deleted localthumbcache 

4. Restarted the game, used mcc to send away the target Sim, then used mcc to summon the sim

As of this test, no issue of the error, or a Sim not being available. 

If it does happen again, I will update 

Also thanks to turbidriver both for the mod, and for listening! In all the time I've used ww, this is the first time I've ever had a problem! I hope this post can help someone!
