Nope its still bonked. Its still a head and white body if I start a new game. I am not sure if its a save issue, I don't know where they are to delete them and try and fresh game. That or my game is to old.

EDIT: fixed.

just to make sure I understand. The problem is fixed? or is the screenshot a new problem you're getting after fixing the other one?

First error can be safely ignored. Happens because the mod forces loads the bathroom level early to get a duplicate reference to the nude model.

Second error, are you 100% sure your game is up to date? I've one last thing I can try as well but it'll have to be tomorrow.

Lastly, you can just send BepInEx\LogOutput.log in the future, easier for me.

Ok, so I recompiled the assets used for the unity version that matches your log file. You'll need to unzip the file I've attached since this website no longer allows files with the extension ".dll" to be uploaded. If this doesn't work then idk, I only ever planned on supporting the latest version of the game. Buy the game.

Simple Nude Mod

This will let you unstrip your clothes by clicking change costume on the equipped clothes in the menu. (hopefully that's okay???)

It uses the nude model you see in the opening cutscene. It's not the best nude model tbh, its pretty low quality with a bad seam on the neck but whatever I'm not here to fix that. Combine this with the stiff looking animations and it doesn't look amazing in my opinion especially during cutscenes but meh. (maybe someone else will try fix that if they care).

Edit1: The mod also has booba jiggle, bandage on the face removal (when nude) available as toggle-able config options and the ability to replace the walking sound effects when nude to match her barefeet.

Edit2: Added partially nude mode (jacket + boots only), pubic hair option and dry textures edit by FrancisLouis to remove the wet effect the model by default has.

This post will walk you through how to install bepinex + my nude mod. If you've modded any previous Unity games in the past such as lethal company, valheim, rounds etc.. chances you've used bepinex, it's open source and free.

STEAM INSTALL

Step 1: Remove EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll

  Reveal hidden contents

If you don't remove this your game will just crash later  (I have no idea why it does, mod loader interfering with EpicGame spaghetti code??), not sure why it was added to steam version in the first place but anyway it gotta go anyway.

Navigate to your game folder by going into Steam then right clicking the game in your library then manage -> browse local files.

Then navigate to TormentedSouls_Data -> Plugins -> x86_64 and delete or rename EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll

Step 2: Download & Install BepInEx

  Reveal hidden contents

You'll need this version here: https://builds.bepinex.dev/projects/bepinex_be/692/BepInEx-Unity.IL2CPP-win-x64-6.0.0-be.692%2B851521c.zip

Extract the files into the game folder.

Tormented Souls

  |-BepInEx
      |- plugins
      |- config
      |- etc...
  |-dotnet
  |-TormentedSouls_Data
  |-GameAssembly.dll
  |-TormentedSouls.exe
  |-winhttp.dll
  |-etc...

Your game folder should look something like this now.

Step 3: Download & Install Mods

  Reveal hidden contents

Download NudeMod.dll and put it in the BepInEx -> plugins folder inside the game directory

GOG INSTALL

Step 1: Download & Install BepInEx

You'll need this version here: https://builds.bepinex.dev/projects/bepinex_be/692/BepInEx-Unity.Mono-win-x64-6.0.0-be.692%2B851521c.zip

Extract the files into the game folder.

      |- config
      |- etc...
  |-TormentedSouls_Data

  |-etc...

Your game folder should look something like this now.

Step 2: Download & Install Mods

  Reveal hidden contents

Download NudeMod.Mono.dll and put it in the BepInEx -> plugins folder inside the game directory

STEAM & GOG

Barefeet sound replacement

  Reveal hidden contents

I have made a shitty walking sound effect pack if you want to replace the walking sound effects when nude simply extract the clips folder from barefeet_sounds.zip in to the games BepInEx\plugins folder, should look something like this now

  |-BepInEx
      |- plugins
	    |- clips
		|- footstep_wood.wav
		|- etc...
      |- config
      |- etc...

You are also free and encouraged to replace them yourself if you think you can find better sound effects. If you want the original sound effects for reference you can get them here:

original_sounds.zip 279.15 kB · 22 downloads

STEAM & GOG

Run game & using the mod

  Reveal hidden contents

If you're on Steam this will take a little while the first time you run your game, after that it'll be quicker starting up.

If you want to hide the console that pops up look for the following file in the game directory BepInEx\config\BepInEx.cfg

and change the following part

[Logging.Console]

## Enables showing a console for log output.
# Setting type: Boolean
# Default value: true
Enabled = true

to

[Logging.Console]

## Enables showing a console for log output.
# Setting type: Boolean
# Default value: true
Enabled = false

You can also enable/disable boob jiggle and the bandages on carolines face when nude by editing the file BepInEx\config\NudeMod.cfg

in a similar manner to above.

This is the full list config options available in the file.

## Settings file was created by plugin NudeMod v1.2.0

Source code?

If there is some alternative to github that allows for suggestive content I'd be happy to put it there but until then you can use either
ILSpy: https://github.com/icsharpcode/ILSpy

dnSpy: https://github.com/dnSpy/dnSpy

and it will show you C# code and you can go from there.

I hope I haven't forgotten anything. Do let me know if it works for you. Overall I definitely feel like it could be still be improved but hopefully this might get others interested that might have a different/better solution for a nude mod. Any issues with my mods just reply to this thread as I'll keep an eye over it this next couple of days.

Now I can start playing the game for the first time finally :P

It seems the version of BepInEx you have linked to has a trojan virus in it. My antivirus reported to me that it had quartered a dangerous file "Cpp2IL.Core.dll" that was inside the core folder of BepInEx.

I checked the builds from https://builds.bepinex.dev/projects/bepinex_be and it seems that starting from #689 to #697 are all infected with that trojan virus in that "Cpp2IL.Core.dll"

The latest safe build that seems to be trojan free is #688. Luckily this version still works with the game and the mod. Just thought id give you and everyone else a heads up.

Good to know. I've looked though the decompiled code of the file you've mentioned, it's probably getting flagged as it can download a mapping file to help deobfuscate some games (its not used in this game tho)."Cpp2IL.Core" is a also a general tool used to reverse engineer unity games so there's that too I guess which might look a bit sus to the antivirus you use. It definitely just seems like a false positive, there's nothing in it that is a trojan. Best thing to do is if possible is see if there is a "submit sample" option with your antivirus and send that file to them to look at themselves.

yes. I didn't bother however as the nude model already exists in the game's memory.

I see , I do have some good quality models
are the steps same for doing the porting or there's some additional steps involved?

The steps I took makes it a some what janky process tbh since it's done through a code mod.

You export whatever model you want as base using AssetStudio and import into blender. You will need to weight your custom model to the game's armature as usual for the game's animations to work. (and optionally head hack the original head back onto custom model). Since it's unity it's not nearly as nice as making a mod for a UE game and while getting the game to load the custom model is possible it's also kinda tricky(ish)

Option 1) My mod currently doesn't support external models loading from assetbundles but I can add that easily enough if there is interest so then all someone would have to do is import their custom model into unity from blender (that uses the game's original armature) and they can just build assetbundle with it and the mod would load it from mod directory. Would save them having to come up a way to put it in the game themselves.

Option 2) I'm also sure there's also a way to just replace the mesh in the game files using UABEA/AssetStudio but I haven't been able to figure it out/don't know how to do that without breaking animations and bone weights. (If someone does know then feel free to share :P). Downside with this method however is that you wouldn't be able to have jiggle physics.

My game doesn't start, only a small window appears with the game icon and it closes without any error.
I think the error in event viewer its c0000005

Gonna need more info that than that.

Do you have a log file at "BepInEx\LogOutput.log"? Are you on steam or gog? Did you delete the Epic online services file if you're on steam like the guide said?

as i mentioned, it doesn't create a .log file, only in the event viewer this error appears

Ok, did you delete the Epic online services file if you're on steam like the guide said?
You could also try a more up to date version of bepinex available here: https://builds.bepinex.dev/projects/bepinex_be/716/BepInEx-Unity.IL2CPP-win-x64-6.0.0-be.716%2B726b68e.zip

If the above don't fix the problem it's going to be difficult for me to debug this at all.

If you are bothered and know what you're doing you can try attach a debugger such as windbg on windows store, you can then go file->start debugger->launch executable and select "TormentedSouls.exe". It might break(pause) before the crash but you can just click the resume button till it throws the exception and when it does it'll tell you where it crashed. For example this is the EOS crash:

hats down! the game has a promotion on steam, really cheap, and wondered if there's a nude mod. Turns out it's here only a couple months!

Now i can run around naked in an haunted hospital.

you could submit the files in the download section of misc. adult mods for more visibility.

Alright thanks for all the info
These clears a lot of questions

So on the blender side ,  i can everything except for one confusing thing , by head hack , do you mean we can't use custom head in the model and have to use the game one on the custom body or keep both?
and yes please , if you can get that assetbundles loading up , it will indeed save a lot of time and open up a lot of options for other modders

Lastly , can you share the original model here that I or everyone else can use as a resource for trying to do a custom model port into the game?

Posted (edited)

hey i was trying the mod, looks wonderful by the way, but when i changed the option to remove the bandage, i was expecting to be shown only the eye socket instead both eyes.

Is there a way to add the eye socket like the mirror scene?
