Mister X Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Heyho, I was wondering: how do you, as person in front of the computer, see your PC who you play with? And what did you do to emphasize that? For me, as I'm a male dom with a female PC, I treat her as my virtual sub. So I try to tell a story with her, where I lead her to all kinds of humiliation she has to endure to survive, including those I never would do to my RL sub (eg. bestiality). To achieve that, I've included mechanics so money is actually needed and harder to come by. To earn it, there now are more humiliating ways, like prostitution or S.L.U.T.S. Additionally, things like Deviously Enchanted Chests, Devious Mimic Clothes and Deviously Helpless lead to situations, where she just gets used on the road because she's restrained. Of course, there's also a "classic combat defeat rape" mod with Peril. For her to feel more like a person, who's even aware of me as her Master, I use Sexist Guards Dialogue with "Break 4th Wall" enabled. Funnily, I don't use any real enslavement mods anymore besides Simple Slavery, as they never really worked well for me (sooner or later I always got script hickups) and it also felt like I loose the control over my PC to an ingame slaver. So, what's the way you see your PC? Should he/she represent you? Is it like me, and he/she's a sub? Does he/she represent a RL partner (eg for long-distance relationships)? Something totally different?
Gukahn Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 I might be oldschool but i see my pc as the main character of a fantasy novel i create while playing.. In my current play at least. This time more on the old nordic warrior side with old values, "never kill an innocent, never harm someone who doesn't do you harm." but "Kill who wants to kill you, enslave you trys to betray you ect." Thing so i can excuse my use of a slavery and combat defeat mod with a couple of other cruel things like giving a slave to a monster ect. I have the goal to make a pretty much old rpg like party too, found me a good male healer who is my Priest, got Zora Fair Child from the same mod as him as a Stupid talking barbarian Women and an Orc Archer. Only thing i need now, is i am the tank build, is serana as a Mageblade and maybe switching the orc for a better character like inigo, Zora gets switched out later for Mrissi so i can have a rouge in my party. No real reason to have Zora in the late game when i can have a mageblade. I try to get a party who could work with this concept and have nice storystelling and quests along my way to fuck up alduin and the thalmor.
CaerHenWen Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 For me there is no connection between me and my character. The 4th wall is unbroken. When I play Skyrim, I step into the role of that character and I try to immerse myself in it. I'm a male in RL and have no problem playing female PC's or unusual races. I try to come up with a unique character concept, personality, etc. for each playthrough, although I have some favorites I enjoy replaying as well. I occasionally try to play as myself, pretending that I got sucked into another dimension somehow and wound up in the game.
Vader666 Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Be what you can't be, expierence what you can't expierence, there is no life for there are multiple.
Guest Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 My characters have zero representation of me or anyone in real life other than the way I create them from the many women I've seen in my life or the way I would envision their appearance based on their genetics. This obviously doesn't include abominations and would be subject to what I envision from a sci-fi or fantasy perspective. They all have their backstories and that's as far as it goes. Why? Because I cannot truly role-play in Skyrim because at the end of the day, I am and always will be the dragonborn. The only benefit of Skyrim is that you can bypass this by accomplishing radiant and random quests that have nothing to do with the main story if you haven't commenced it. Or recognition as the dragonborn except Dawnguard when you confront Durnehviir whom will somehow predict you to be the dragonborn. If I had it my way, a open world sandbox with no main story and no chosen one protagonist would exist. It would just be a world where you are just one of the many out there ready to be good or evil. You wouldn't be the one everyone is counting on to save them. Quests would only exist to partake and have multiple choices of completion that questions the player whether that choice was the right choice or not. You wouldn't always walk away being a hero. Similar to The Pitt in Fallout 3. Because not every story driven quest has to have a happy ending. Any some of my characters, regardless of their strengths and weakness, they aren't always good. And their actions aren't always the outcome they desire. They have flaws. Because the are not perfect.
Captain Cobra Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 My characters (all of them, not just my ES characters) are my little dollies to play with / dress / undress / create stories about / fap to and anything else I feel like doing with them at the time. I'm very attached to them. 4 hours ago, stingray1995 said: I've fine-tuned only one female character on the PC version of Skyrim for the past 7+ years, and have never played a different female character. Lmao same but with the 3D Fallouts.

I double checked the math, you are correct that she will have nothing to do with you. Me on the hand, well,I'm taking her to the Bannered Mare tonight. Im gonna bang that shit!
FauxFurry Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 I tend to see them as the role that I am playing hence why I try to customize them to fit the role that I want to play as close as I can get within the limits of the available tools at my disposal. The more characters that I can customize and play in the same game setting, the better (which is one of the most appealing things about The Sims series starting at the third installment).
