just found out about this mod (because it's not on nexus), and I've installed and started playing and boy, this is really something special!!  hard puzzles, those norse ghosts are badass opponents, and those bloody (norse?) runes are doing my head in.  Great job!!  this is very challenging, it's gonna take me awhile to finish these puzzles!  enjoying a real challenge for a change.

Installed the mod recently. Very nice & original. However, similar to few posts above, when I wear runecrafter amulet, no runecrafter vision is added... Therefore, I can't activate the rune in the first tent in order to proceed. Even stranger, the magic effects (resist magic & smithing) are added normally...

 

Upd : Since the author is MIA (not judging), I disabled the runes & doors. Forwarded the relevant quest with setstage 30 and finished the mod without any further glitch...

Little gem! Masterpiece! I really loved your mod!!!  the story, the ambient, the atmosphere, the lights, the "puzzle" (I loved it put the player into some crafting, no need any skills anyway). The only thing a bit underwhelming was the human "follower", not enough developed to care about her.

I am going through another playthrough in skyrim, i already did this quest several times, is there anyway or any console command to just finish the quest and get Ran and Jocelyn as followers directly without having to do the quest again ?

crash-2024-08-20-02-53-10.logI keep crashing in the room "The Tidal Gate". It always happens as soon as the voice line, "All those souls, lost to sea. i can see them in my dreams" starts. Crash log attached. any advice on how to fix?

Not sure what's happening, but after finishing Maelstrom, I went to Nightgate Inn for the first time, and it was full of hostile Draugr and a Frost Troll. According to the console, they were being added by this mod. Had to reload a save, toggle off combat AI and console kill them before they slaughtered all of the NPCs in there.

I can't find the weave in the lighthouse dream. I've searched it very thoroughly, and searched this forum and other sites (including some Youtube videos), and I can't find it. I have the weaves from the other 2 dreams. Can anyone tell me where it is (or just give a hint?), in spoiler tags of course. I wouldn't ask if I hadn't spent hours trying to find it.

Never mind, I finally found it. Is there any way to delete posts on this forum? I was going to delete the previous post, since the problem was resolved and the post wouldn't help anyone else, but there appears to be no such option.

I converted the Outfits and Bodies to 3BA.  (do whatever you want with this)

-If anyone else need it here you go. 

 

-the 3BA BS2 files are not tested in-game yet and may or may not look and work ok.

 

-there are also some UNP Body textures that should be converted to CBBE or 3BA and most other body textures upscaled to at least 2K in this mod.

(I can not share the texture conversion file I made since I used partly BnP from nexus and I don't think its allowed to share here without permission.)

-It is fairly simple to do, just unpack the bsa --> /textures/n78ms/actors/... locate the ones for bodies and replace, delete everything else and overwrite original bsa with replaced files.

not sure if this has been mentioned yet:

for anyone stuck at the rune section with the amulet not working as intended. you can just type "help fehu" and "help dagaz" into the console and then use "player.additem" to add both to your character. that also automatically advances the quest stage and you´re good to go.

I believe people who are helpful just for the sake of being nice can never be celebrated enough. Your help here rocked and really made a difference for me for this mod as I was fully invested in the story! Thank you!

Seems like there's way Ran will ever accept clothes 😭

She did say she doesn't like to wear armor, probably hardcoded to stay naked with boots

In case anyone else has the issue where Jocelyn is dead rather than wounded - in my case, I think it happens from using mods that add extra enemy spawns to dungeons; a single enemy spawns in the same room as her and kills her.

Save before or right after entering the mod's first dungeon/cave. TFC1, travel through the dungeon to the altar room with Jocelyn, kill anything in there. Then proceed through the dungeon as normal. Make sure no other enemies follow you into that room, cuz even a gentle breeze is enough to kill her.
