[WIP] SexLab Lover's Comfort 2013-12-30

for some reason nothing ever happens with this mod in game. i wanted it for the npc on npc without player needing to use spells to trigger it, and i havent seen any evidence its doing anything.

does it need updating to work with sexlab framework 1.59?

 

Lover's Comfort still works.  What you need to keep in mind that sex between NPCs (not counting your spouse) happens only between NPCs with a relationship rank of 4 between one another, and only when they're in the same cell close to or after midnight in-game.  Sex between followers only happens when your character goes to sleep when you have two or more followers in tow and both of them have met the required arousal threshold.  Sex between an NPC and the player's spouse happens when both are in the same cell as your player and both have a lover's ranking (NOT the same as the vanilla relationship rank) of 5.

 

I am writing a sexlab related mod where sex slaves are sometimes bound and sex with them is not realistically possible.

 

There is a keyword SexLabForbid and a faction SexLabForbiddenActors in Sexlab now.

 

It would make my mod and I expect many others more realistic if you could include tests for these in your dialogs, i.e.

 

getkeyword SexLabForbid == 0 && GetInFaction SexLabForbiddenActors == 0

 

I know how much work this would be.  Because I use this mod myself, I would be happy to help add these tests to your dialogs.

Not quite, Relatives has high relationship ranks with each other because they are well, relatives.

So once arousal reaches a certain point for both of them, reason goes out the door (if you like to RP).

 

Wish there was an option to modify needed arousal for the incest option (should be higher than the default value for everyone else) but with redneck gone it is unlikely.

What Budroi said, yeah.  Family members have a relationship ranking of 4, so Lover's Comfort triggers them by default.  If that's not your thing ('cause it certainly isn't mine) you can uncheck the Incest option in the menu, and it won't happen anymore.  To check that, the easiest way would be viewing Jarl Balgruuf and his brother what's-his-name (the brute hanging around in Dragonsreach) or Ralof and Gerdur in a new game.

If you enjoy male - male interactions I wont try to stop you.

I know that some women (and men, I guess) really enjoy the BL scenario.

Probably for the same reason I enjoy Female - Female.

Lol, I didn't take any offense.  I have male/male interactions turned off too.  I'm a straight guy, that kind of thing isn't my interest.  I only mentioned it because I knew off the top of my head that it was one of the possible incest encounters early in the game.

i like the incest thing. male-male doesnt really do anything for me, but its not gross either - although creatures on male i find amusing for some reason. i think gerdur or maybe just staking out the store in riverwood would be best way to check if it works for incest. two birds with one stone i guess. part of my problem was i assumed it used the sexlab bed setting, and i had no idea of the time thing at all. i guess we all set it up the way we want, and i never assume anyone is judging me unless they are obviously stating so; like they say, whatever makes you happy. thats how i see it. if it makes you happy (and since nobody is being forced to be unhappy since they dont have to look at it; if they CHOOSE to look knowing they wont be happy thats all their own fault...) thats all that matters.

i thik that setting in sexlab menu to make the npcshaving sex aways in bed  will help

Is this mod still being worked on or has it been dropped?

 

If so I think NPCs lover's needs need to be more in character, and a separate system for married NPCS, because honestly I cannot see Serana banging some random girl or guy, unless the player cheated on her first, and even then the neglect system also needs to be tuned, as I doubt a person will be frustrated with their spouse if they have to be gone for a few days to a few weeks, issues generally start occurring when the length of time that a spouse is gone extends into six months or longer (Ie military couples)

Aw thats too bad, this mod is great when it comes to being able to watch other NPCs go at it, but it clashes too much with married life to be completely effective.

Yeah, could use some finetuning.  Just checked, though, and he's given anyone the freedom to do as they please with the mod.  So we just need someone to take it up in the meantime.

Found a new bug with Lover's Comfort.  I walked in on a married couple just as they were getting busy and the husband didn't take off his clothes until the second phase of the animation kicked in.  This happened with another couple as well, so it's not a problem with just one dude.

There's a bug with this mod that doesn't like the new Defeat mod.  People think it's the Aroused mod that's broken and that if they remove it, all is fixed for Defeat (no CTDs).  But that didnt' work for me.  I had to first remove Aroused and then removed Comfort.  I then went back to add Aroused after Defeat and I had no issues.  As soon as I add Comfort, the CTDs at game start.  So there's something definitely with it.  Can't get it to work with a fresh new game with almost all other mods removed.  It's a shame.  This was kind of a funny mod where you walk in and don't expect NPCs to be doing their thing.  I was hoping features could be added where if you interrupt a private room, it counts as trespassing and the guards get called to wupp your tail for seeing the mysterious.  Oh well.  Maybe some other mod will get ideas like that.

It's sad how this mod has completely stopped. Is there anyone who can pick up where he left? This mod has huge potential, and the only sex framework mod I like is this one. Really, I don't really fancy mindless sex, and I don't like when my character has sex. The reason is because the sex mod in skyrim is kinda limited and slow. Somehow it just feels like you have no power and everything is going not-smooth.

 

Anyways, I love when you break in someone's house in the middle of the night, and then you see hear or see someone having sex. I really love that. However, I wish that there were more than just couples and families. Maybe have a priority list, if the partner is not around, the npc will proceed and have sex with the closest friend?

They got up just as I finished and turned around, and I recognized him and his cum on her lips.

Farquar and Gwendolyn is not a relationship made by this mod. BB Suite has them hang out with one another and she will stay the night with him. If you read the BB Suite page on the Nexus this becomes apearant by it having a link to a mod to beautify Gwen.

This is the only mod that I've seen that allows for spontaneous NPC-NPC coupling, without resorting to spells or dialogue options. Is there another one that does this? Such that when Arousal peaks for an NPC, they find someone - even one unrelated - to hook up with?
