CTD Caused by... Arrows???

Okay so weird problem i am having... this keeps occurring whenever i finish using up arrows in this case i was using orcish arrows and then i get this weird text on the right where the arrow count would be.

 

used in a form [ ] to indicate true (10) 

 

no idea what this means but i assume the game is accessing some sort of arrows that are no longer in possession of my character thus causing the game to immediately ctd in response.

no idea how i can go about fixing this either but if anyone has any ideas lmk, i will also post a papyrus log here.

 

also i should state is that sometimes it doesn't crash right away but when i shoot these non existing arrows the count from 10 does go down which makes me believe somehow i am using arrows that shouldn't exist.

and another thing if i have no arrows equip and i use a bow it auto defaults to this which causes a crash.

Papyrus logs are not nearly as useful as in Skyrim LE.

 

EDIT: Have you removed mods from your lineup?

It looks like a lot of orphaned scripts running.

no i have only added a few recently to my order, and i use vortex to manage my mods this issue has only recently popped up for me and the only ctd i have had besides from this is one time from a dragonsoul collecting.

 

I also use fallrimtools to see if the save is suffering from any rogue scripts or if the saves themselves are starting to bloat but they all look fine.

forgot i had it installed here it is, not sure if this will help figure out what is causing it.

So, you previously had Death Alternative Your Money or Your Life installed.

It's scripts are still embedded in your save.

 

Not recommended to uninstall mods in mid-game.

If you have to, you need to clean your save file with Resaver from FallRimTools https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031

Tutorial: from "Clean Menu" remove unidentified scripts and remove unattached instances {they'll show when you put check mark in each in "Clean" Menu}

 

You should also sort your mods better, try LOOT https://loot.github.io/

 

And you also should be using a Bashed Patch with Wrye Bash https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837
