Most dialogues have choices that lead to different outcomes, you picked the dialogue that sent you to Travis instead of the Mayor, which is way better in my mind, but that is why you did not see him.

• Fixed a bug where you were getting red metallic nails instead of black. 

New Purses

• Seven Bar Purse: in the room of the Overboss in the Seven Bar. Nora doesn't have access to this one yet. 
• Gage Purse: Gage gives it to you if you acted submissive to the gunners in GNN. But later you can buy it from Kali if you decided to be rebellious. 
• BOS Purse: Given to you by Captain Kells when you arrive at Far Harbor.
• Overboss Purse - It is given to you by the Overboss in the route of the young vault dweller, when he gives you the Overboss Outfit. In the vanilla route, it is given to you by Music when you ask her to go serve in the VIP party. 
• Adolf Purse: Adolf gives it to you before traveling to Diamond City. But only if you didn't give him to drink the poisoned beer in Goodneighbor. 
• Also a yellow purse that is planned for a future outfit. Obtainable with Esp Explorer. 
• All purses are available through esp explorer, there are no restrictions.

I can imagine even the toughest enemies giving you some unique purse and I chuckle because it goes with the tone of the mod.

Ah, gotcha!   I did not catch that it was Travis OR the Mayor, was thinking it was Travis THEN the Mayor.

I'm on the Motorcycle quest.    I'm at the part where the robot driver offers to take you back from Diamond City to Nuka World, and it puts the quest marker at the Nuka Station monorail by mistake.        I saw where you had talked to someone else about this a couple months ago,  and you posted that you were gonna go ahead and fix that.   

 

my question is,  I'm using the latest stable (I think) version 6.4.3, in the file download, which was dated before the post you made that you were gonna work on that.   I'm  running a Nora, not a Norita.   Should I stay with 6.4.3 and just do the workarounds, or should I update to the latest test version?

I think it was confusing me as to whether the newest version was 'just' test for Norita, or if it still had all the original Nora parts still in it, if that makes sense.

 

What is the safest way to upgrade?   Is it ok to just install over 6.4.3?

99% sure you can install it now. Unless you've won a quest called “Made In Heaven”, but I doubt you've reached that part yet if you're still doing the first quests.

yeah, I'm actually still at the very first part of it.   I will probably just back up to right before the Bike, and start it again during that 24 hr wait period.

 

I did not hit T to wait, I used the entire time.  My Nora was just walking around looking for food during that wait, because even though they showed her a complimentary refrigerator, the noodle cup just wasn't enough, she still got hungry.   Even though the stuff in the Cafe wasn't marked as stealing, it still felt like it was.   So she went exploring and found the playable games at the Nuka Cade and thats all it took to distract her   LOL!!!

I kinda hope Mason gets more role in the story cuz we kinda just forget about him in the Amphitheater and my Mason is Manly Mason hot

@JB., that's a very good point, by the way.

Every time I play NR, and I feel like there should be some more quest with Mason. Because in one of the dialogs he says, “I'll let you know if I need you.”
But there are no quests with him, and unless we visit him of our own volition, our connection to him and the Pack doesn't feel at all.

Piper is in the plans for the future (vanilla interview only). But it's something I'll do after I finish the mod. I haven't touched anything about her. I think you're getting confused with Slavers, where the only thing I do there is disable Piper. 

 

As for Mason, the mod grew and grew, and I didn't want to take the bosses out of their zones (for fear of screwing something up in the Nuka World DLC), so I started using the Overboss. 

 

Then this mod grew too much and the OB was already deeply rooted in the plot (and now I'm not afraid to fuck up the DLC anymore because this mod is already a DLC). 

 

The one I want to give more role is Mags Black, but like Mason, I can't think of anything interesting. Creating a quest takes time and energy, and to embark on a quest I have to be 100% sure of what I want to do. With existing characters you are somewhat limited to their already defined personalities, but with my own characters I feel more freedom.

haha i think i broke the game, i complete main quest destroying institute, now in "MADE IN HEAVEN" quest, after music give anesthasia to me, i wake up in institute and all of them attack me 🙃. so can i skip this quest?

Those dialogs don't appear because you haven't won The Bike. Can't play normally? If the Mayor isn't there it's because you have a bashed patch, or because my mod doesn't have priority, or because you have a mod that edits the Mayor so he's probably giving a speech en the city.

 

Do you have 4 Mason outfits? All I can say is that you have some weird bugs that no one else has reported and I need a break, it's getting on the forum and hand carrying all day. 😭

I completed The Bike (Diamond city with mayor). He was not visible during the whipping scene (1st). I did meet the Mayor when he was doing the speech but teleported to office after speaking with him (Norita had to walk back with him to his office tho). First time having issue starting Apollo tho.  

 

Maybe it's an XDI issue I don't know. I can only progress after he gives me the drug or it's a loop back to him giving the clothes. 

 

The only mods I have for DC is Diamond City Expansion and Kekebu all in one I think

 

Hmm loaded again and Mayor think I'm Norita again 

 

Maybe the dialogue didn't continue because PC didn't put on the pink outfit automatically? Didn't put on the Party outfit automatically as well but no affect to dialogue

 

Tattoo/throat scene didn't start with Solomon (Another Norita mix up after loading)

 

Just noticing a lot of changes like Nisha's location and Apollo walking back o the studio.

@JB. Correct me if I'm wrong...Will he not have to start over to have the choice of the young girl virgin/not virgin path or the Nora path?

 

@Pkatt if you do back up to a save go just before you leave the vault so Duke is there to greet you, then you will have the choices of Nora/young girl/virgin/non virgin & you will meet the Gramps & Granma if you pick the young girl path.

In his specific case he is right to play Nora's route, as his character comes from winning Commonwealth Slavers and has received Duke's pamphlet.

I would burn that save 😭 You're the only one who has that weird bug of the mod changing the globals (nora/norita). I've tried all Sunday to reproduce it in twenty ways and even put a bunch of conditions so that something like that doesn't happen accidentally, even though I'm unable to reproduce such a bug. 

 

I've been playing Nora's route from start to finish and finished it the night before last.

Just start over and leave the vanilla quests alone.

Also Stay away form GNN, do not kill any named NPCs and don't piss off any of the 6 factions.

Treat Nuka Ride as a stand alone game, follow one of it's many paths and have fun.

 

You can still run around and kill Raiders, Super Mutants bugs etc, in between, and on occasion during missions. Ya know, just to scratch that itchy trigger finger. 😜

Im sure it would work ok it does not use to many F4SE related mods. So having a clean nextgen game running I think it would be ok since F4se the address library and spell perk distributor have been updated. There is still a few I need before I take the plunge
