In a way it's because the protagonist is already consolidated as someone important and is climbing positions. She no longer does degrading missions. 

 

But really it's because I started working on Commonwealth Slavers and almost all the hardcore ideas went there, and Nuka Ride became my 'fun quest haven', heh.

 

That continues to this day and it shows in the alternative startup.

I cleaned my patch and got the party lights to work correctly. 👌

Well then, thanks for welcoming us in your fun quest heaven. 😊 Had no time to play and post for a couple of month,  RL kicked in , so just a feedback of the test version, no special glitches/issues apart from minor ones mentioned already here, your story telling in a nutshell: great, love it, congrats mate.

I am sure you will come up with the proper decisions once the time has come, decisions you will feel comfortable with...in the end, it is your "baby", and I think you have the best "feeling" for  it.😉

It is noticable, yeah, that is the point where a lot of stuff that would have felt right at home in Saints Row starts popping up with the costumes and jokes.

While I will maintain that I think that maintaining compability for going from CS->NR should be maintained as I found them a great fit to play in succession I do understand the authorital reasons for keeping them as two seperate stories for reasons of pacing and theme.

 

Just out of curiosity... and I might misremember the order stuff happens and be way off base here, but did you retcon in the stuff where Music runs over the mirelurk pup and Gage tricks you later in development to set up the more silly questlines, or was that always there and you grabbed that idea and just built the entire story from there? Because I felt that was the first time that stuff started to get a bit silly, kind of like the rules of the story just shifts, and it goes from a 'serious' porno into a Brazzers porno.😆

When they started joking about there being more dog-brothers you kind of feel that shift, that this is setting up for something very different than the previous mission you've done.

And I love the enema. Too bad Fallout doesn't have a thinner hose but at least it gets the job done. 

 

Another mesh I didn't find was garden shears. I would have liked to put it in the garden and have to pick it up to clean the roses. But yesterday I saw this mod with assets from the witcher and I think I could use it.

The mod at the beginning had no story. It was just filming movies. 

 

But people liked it and I was starting to realize that I could tell a story, so in NR4 I put in enemies that we were going to fight (following my zero shooting policy). And I thought the dumbest but most effective reason for those enemies to hate us was to say that the mirelurk we ran over was a beloved pet of theirs. 

 

It probably wasn't the smartest decision, but I decided to stick to it. Not that the mod revolves around that silly story, the mirelurk is just an excuse to continue the adventure.

I tried to use wire splines and have just the nozzle of the hose sticking out of the wall, but that really didn't look right.

 

I like having to use tools to do the gardening. If you do that, maybe I'll add a tool shed or at least a rack to hang the tools. Yea.. a rack would prolly be better.

Yeah I can see that they would want that. But I agree I'm definitely going down the romance route with my character and it seems so far I have been making the right choices. And like I explained earlier She sees that the whole thing is bothering the OB and would want to make the sacrifice for him to make his venture succeed. That is what romantic partners do after all. You make sacrifices in life for each other.

Yep the tools and gloves needed was a great touch. But sometimes I do stupid crap. I had to do the dishes and of course you need the gloves. I had my pipboy open looking through that inventory for almost 10min for the gloves could not find them at all then I look at the screen again she had them on already🤣.

I think there can be romance, but not with the context that you and I are used to. I relied a bit on Conn Iggulden's books about the conquest of Genghis Khan. Indeed, the Khan had several women, but there were always favorites. And when the king of the Xi Xia kingdom sent his daughter as a tribute, a young princess, very refined, fragile, different from the Mongol women, who were of stronger features, Genghis was especially attentive and affectionate with her, to the jealousy of his other women. It's said that he fell in love. 

 

So, there is lust in the background, and I think that can lead to romance. 

 

It's a culturally rare thing for many of us, but I don't think it's impossible.

Having played through both the Virgin route and the main NR event, I can't help but think/feel for you @JB. that you made a buttload of work for yourself!

The storyline is so different, merging them will take time, patience and much thought. I like the story of the Virgin, sometimes hating herself for the commitment to Corsican and keeping herself chaste for the main event, all the while getting hot under the collar and wanting to break her oath. 

I get the fact that she is infatuated with getting in the OB's Harem so she will be protected and cared for financially.

The whole , what I will call the First act, is a Masterpiece, and that is not counting the following act in the main NR event which is also a Masterpiece.

Fitting them together will be a stroke of pure Genius, glad it is not me trying to craft it.

The OB. is soo different in both Versions, possessive of the shiny new toy in the first act, detached and cruel for the first half of the second act, then becoming more open to the submissive, fiery girl as the mod progresses, seeing her submit to his whims breaks some of his steely exterior, softens his outlook on her eventually becoming open to her talking back, her fire, her willingness to do what pleases him no matter what that is, body augmentation, beatings, hot iron brands, tattoos, whatever he dreams up.

My protagonist wants to have his baby/babies as she is completely given herself to him mind body and soul.

I won't pretend to have a clue how you will fit these two disparate characters together, I just know you will, and it will be worth the waiting and wondering when you do.

I have had so much fun, with this I really appreciate the work you have and are doing with the fact you have shared this with all of us.

Keep up the good work.     

 

In a after comment...I am hoping for an event where Patti & Dallas go to bed with the protagonist, OB, and physically show her how to please the OB.  Not asking just hoping.

No offence taken. You have your opinion. I don't agree with it tho. Maby sacrifice was a strong word to use. In the end its just porn. Lots of couples have very good romantic relationships with partners that are involved in porn. As for the romance its already there and we are not close to the main act. One just needs to pay attention to the dialogue. The thing is you looking at it from the your personal perspective and maby a bit from the OB's but you have to realize you need to look at it from the girls perspective aswell. She already made that contract with Corsican. It is already in her plans before even meeting the OB. And the more she interacts with the OB the more she falls for him and the more she sees him differently. And that also goes the other way. Example would be like I said the fact that he picks her above going to to business. When you cuddle on the bed and talk about things the more of the layers gets pulled back. The fact that he don't want you to mess around Larsen. I am speaking from my girls perspective. She is not stupid she realizes that there is something there and when the time comes she will gladly do it for him. Even if it is something that they both don't really want. Now I know Its pretty hard. You have to put yourself into the mindset of this young girl. And  that is not an easy thing to do.

I don't think the clone will vary much from the original. 

 

I have in plans a return to the past to pre-war Sanctuary. With techonology from the Institute, Shaun will try to convince his mother to leave the porn world, hoping that she will remember what it was like to live as a good woman in that era. 

 

Of course, he will see with horror that maybe his mother was already slutty when she remembers an affair with the old neighbor. 

 

I had no plans for the young girl, but she will probably take this trip back in time too. She often comments that one of her dad's friends used to kinda grope her, maybe that friend is Nate himself. And I'll definitely have to put her best friend in, I've made up too many anecdotes about this best friend that she has to be in there xD.

Sounds great, perhaps consider referencing the plot of WandaVision, utilizing technological capabilities (not magic) to create a brainwashing space where Nora and Nate live together in a small town, then OB comes in to save Nora.

I can't get the enema at Fizztop to work. I get the prompt to use the hose or don't need to use it yet, and that's it. Tried without my patch with the same result. Although I only moved the canister anyway.

Maintenance update. 

 

If you're doing the quest to clean the garden and the apartment, don't update. Finish all that and then you can update. Otherwise, it's safe to update. 

 

 

• Fixed. Fizztop's bathroom enema wasn't working. 
• The Seven Bar has location and encounter zone at Izzy's request. 
• I have put the Dunmore Farm keywords for the workshop, thanks to Izzy. That will make the workshop data to be reflected correctly in the map.
• You won't be able to grab the tatos around you if you start picking vegetables for dinner/hunt, to avoid the scene breaking (no vegetables bug).
• Added a garden shears on top of the garden barrel. You won't be able to do rose maintenance without first picking up the shears. 
• I got it from a Skyrim resource mod, it comes from The Witcher 3 thanks to Oaristys.

@izzyknows  I have deleted the activator "_NR_Enema_Toilet_Activator_Fizztop". It was bugged. I put another one back and called it: "_NR_Enema_Toilet_Activator_Fizztop_NEW", so you can differentiate which one to delete in your patch.
