Man, there's more stuff I'm going to stir up. I want NukaTown to be a real gem. I've been with this mod for almost two years and if I see another rusty sheet metal again I'm going to puke.

lol. Ya I get that, and I love the concept of what your doing with this mod, not only is it lore friendly but the work you've put into this mod shows me (and other) how much you love the Fallout Franchise. My struggle with this version of your mod is looking at the stray lights with floating wires, and trying to calm my autistic brain. I don't want to change anything that you have done to Nuka World as I'm afraid it will screw up the mod, so what I'm looking at doing is just deleting the floating wires and wait for an update.

@JB - Just another question, does Nuka World revert back to the vanilla version once the Nuka Ride quests are done? How does the vanilla DLC work in this new version?

Posted

Great mod, impressive amount of content!

I have one question: How should updates from the mod be handled? Is a new game needed for each update?

@JB. Hopefully this doesn't make you puke, but here's a WIP of the fix I'm working on for myself. Simply putting raider camp poles back in places where the rope lines are and put one of the raider cages back outside of the gate to the amphitheatre

Looks good. Are you working on the basis of version 6.1.1? If you have it ready, send it to me, so I will work it from this version when I work on the mod again.

You can upgrade whether you are coming from NR5 or in the middle of NR6.

Yes it is 6.1.1 and as for sending it to you - will do. It's not a lot, just a few raidercamppoles big and small some raidercampropeknots big and small and that's it. Your mod is HUGE. So it's easier for me to just play through until I see something then fix it in CK.

I just finished the first Nuka Club quest, and a couple animations didn't play, AAF returned an error. One of them was in the Nuka Room, but the other was the final sex scene with the Overboss at the end of the quest. I do indeed have all the per-requisite animation mods of course. Could still be a me problem, but thought I'd mention it here regardless.

hi, so i'm having a little problem in the quest "The way you say my name". When talking to the guys, i pick the answer "Don't mess with me" which leads to fight but i am instantly killed. I just have time to shoot one of them. Tried it again with tgm, and the two guys are essential...I mean, come one.... Why give what seems like a rebellious path, if in the end it changes absolutely nothing and we are just forced to be a stupid bimbo ?

Don't get me wrong...When playing submissive, the story is great and rewarding, but when trying to play rebellious there is a lot of frustration coming from all sides and absolutely no reward or enough cooling moments like for example the dance with Adolf. (I loved this scene by the way)....Even if we refuse to be the overboss bitch, we still end up saying what he wants and do what he wants without real "fuck you" answers. I mean, even at the end of Lucy in the sky, we end up being forced to say shit like "i am happy to see you boss". If there is a moment we should be able to get mad and tell him to rot in hell, it's that moment after being tortured and nearly die.....It's just really weird that sometimes the mod let us be rebellious, and it feels like choices matter, but more often than not in crucial moments we end up only having  dialogues that are 100% submissive brainless bimbo. You can't even imagine the amount of times i broke a save by ending up killing everyone and enslaving the overboss or Cage to get them fucked by dogs and feral ghouls....I usually don't use bestiality mods, but for them, i made an exception. Damn, i am so pissed i need to go torture William. :P

To be clear, i understand the situation in which our pc gets when starting nuka world. I am not saying she should be able to do whatever she wants, but answers like "you're playing with fire overboss" or just simply "yeah whatever" instead of "yes daddy, i'm a stupid whore" should be available for every dialogue for those who want to be rebellious, not just a few here and there. Even if in the end our character end up doing what he wants, we have at least the satisfaction of not using the words he wants to hear.

A last thing, and of course this is all just my opinion, but i believe it wouldn't be best if you gave us players the choice to play as a vulnerable stupid bitch that will never be able to kill a bloatfly or a growing character that slowly learns to fight and becomes strong and end up filming porn by day and hunting down raiders by night for example. Would be a nice set up for a rising super hero....lmao. Maybe Corsico would love the idea ?

What's the point of a dialogue-fight if absolutely every option is going to make you win?

Again, the mod is based on the fact that you got into porn because it's a safe bet for someone who doesn't know how to fight.

To play as rambo you already have other mods. "I am fire" does not mean "I know how to use a minigun and I can sweep two armed guys off their feet". Litearlly in the mod you are told by several characters about winning battles in a way other than using bullets.

And the choices are definitely not from a bimbo. The main character is distracting them and that's why she's acting like that. Not because she is being stupid, but because she wants to buy time for Kali to take care of them. It's all about manipulation.

Edit: The dialogue "I'm a stupid whore" is definitely a lie to please for the first time the protagonist meets the Overboss. I remember putting a parenthesis clarifying that it's a lie, so as not to confuse the player. When the protagonist gains more confidence she stops lying to him.

Does the BoS outfit Captain Kells gives the PC in Far Harbor have a bodyslide? I just got it and the boobs are... well, they're rather massive compared to my character's actual breasts. Unless that is intended somehow?

Like Cassey's uniform, it's vanilla.

By the way if you get another AAF error just take a screenshot of your AAF admin panel so I can see what happened.

Ah, interesting. Then it must be one of the replacers I have. I thought I'd ask just in case, most of the outfits are from the integrated mods.

Will do. So far it's only been the two.

FYI, there's a conflict/bug related to Vanilla Fudge and the ending of Movie Night. I disabled Vanilla Fudge and I was able to complete the quest. I think it has something to do with forced dialogue or an NPC trying to approach the player or something.

I may not have been clear on what the problem is with the "rebellious path" for me. There is definitely one right ? It gives access to different dialogues and it's really cool. What i was trying to tell you is that there is too many times, where suddenly the mod completely forgets your rebelliousness in certain dialogues and forces you to say things that don't make sense for a rebellious character. That doesn't mean that we should be able to refuse or fight anyone or anything. It's just about the attitude and consistency. I was not asking for a rambo fantasy. As i said, i understand that somehow we are forced to do stuff the overboss wants, but that doesn't mean not being able to at least, avoid saying things that we wouldn't say. And to be fair, when you are rebellious there is plainly of times where you did it right.

Let me try to explain better what i mean with examples.

After the Lucy in the sky torture scene, you only get submissive dialogues to say how much you are happy or need love from the guy you hate. Why couldn't she say "fuck you" at that moment ? She nearly died and was tortured and the only dude that rescues her only thinks about porn.....She's probably traumatized and if it's a rebellious mind, she's probably enraged. So at least, just "fuck this shit", or "fuck you" would be nice. I don't think at that moment the overboss would even care.

When talking with Shaun, you are never able to tell him how much you hate the overboss. On the contrary, you only get dialogues to justify that you like it. Which doesn't make much sense for a rebellious character, especially after you tell the overboss you hate him / after the dolled up mission.  I am only referring to the specific dialogues about the overboss, not the rest about sex. Because, yes, at the end of the day, you decided to get into porn, so obviously you like sex.

In the galactic park, when you "fight" the possessed overboss, it's perfectly justified to suddenly say things to make the boss happy due to the circumstances. But after that, in your dialogue with Shaun, you can't try to explain why you did it and it feels a bit frustrating.

That being said, i see you may have taken my post the wrong way, and i am sorry for that. Didn't mean to tell you what to do. When playing submissive rp, the mod is great. This was just an attempt at constructive feedback for rebellious. And there are good moments when playing rebellious, like when you can tell the overboss "fuck you" during "dolled up". Really felt good.

Anyways, sorry for this rant....

I understand. The rebel and submissive route was only introduced after Gage's mission where he takes you to the gunner base. That's when I learned/ was taught to use Sex Attributes as compatibility. I did a little bit of backward compatibility for the previous missions to dialogues that already existed.

The whole mod was, until then, based on a single route. That's why you notice that in the first part of the mod you can really only act like a girl who is embarrassed to wear the new outfits. or who says "I'm so glad to see you" to the Overboss during Lucy in the Sky, because that actually makes sense in the original line of the mod.

I guess someday I'll try to do something else for the rebel route.

The reason this mod has 15,000-I-don't-know-how-many dialogues and, from the looks of it, lasts longer than any other quest mod on the web, is because I have fun writing about a girl who doesn't know how to fight who tries to accommodate to the new reality, playing her cards as best she can. You take me out of that and I don't even get to ten decent dialogues.

Surely there are those out there who are good at creating a "make your own adventure" style story, with a character with different personalities, but that's not me.

PS: About Shaun, I forgot something. In the Non-Vanilla route you can explain to Shaun why you had to behave like that in Nuka Galaxy. I think the girl says something like "I'm sorry you heard all that, but it's something I have to do for the sake of my studio".

Unfortunately in the Vanilla route, there was no more room for other options and I prioritized the ones I found convenient.

Oh ok i understand. It makes a lot more sense now. Well, i can only thank you for the answers and really you make an amazing work. I was just finishing the quests in Far Harbor, and yeah the last hour of game is really good actually. I was like, wait this contradicts everything i said. It actually feels good. So, yeah it's just a few dialogues in the first part that could use a bit of rewriting. Thanks for your time, and can't wait to play NR7 !

It's not the first pointing out of the rebel route, so I will try to deal with it in a different way in NR7.

In NR6, during "Head for Business", in both routes you must give oral sex to the OB, whether you are a submissive or a rebel.

I can change the:

How about if I suck your dick?
Yeah, alright.

To

I'm leaving, Overboss.
Suck my dick first and you can fucking go, okay.

So, yeah, it may seem like I'm getting defensive but I appreciate your point of view, because I think the experience can be improved.

absolutely ! Some small edits like that could make all the difference without changing the core of the experience.

edit : when i say small edits, i don't want to assume it's easy work though.

I know you get this question a lot. But I have not found the answer when searching this forum. The NR outfits are not visible on my character. Only the collar/choker is visible.

I have the Bodyslider app and I have downloaded all of the outfit/apparel mods listed. I've used the Bodyslider and generated meshes for those mods. But, I don't see any of the NR outfits from the list of options in Bodyslider. So, it's not generating those meshes.

I've looked into the Nuka Ride folder and there is only .txt files in the meshes folder, not .nif files.

Help please.

Make sure you download and install the separate BodySlide conversion archive for NR corresponding to your body. The same MEGA location where you got the Nuka Ride mod also has separate downloads for CBBE and FG outfit conversions.

Ok thanks for the tip, but I'm still kind of lost. Or I'm not finding where to get the BodySlide version you are talking about.

Under "Hard & Soft Requirements" there is a list of mods with links. The CBBE (which I use) option is not linked. Is this where it should be?

The "Download this file" button on the file page for Nuka Ride takes you to a MEGA file set, where NR and a bunch of other optional mods for it are available to download. Some of the files in that MEGA set are BodySlide conversions of the outfits included in NR.

Edit: I would copy and paste the filenames from the list there, but MEGA seems to pull stupid shenanigans to disable highlighting. If you can't figure it out, I (or someone) can probably take a screenshot of the MEGA page and draw a big red circle around them or something.

A guide to how to actually unlock certain quests may be useful for those who have different tastes and want to go down certain questlines (i.e., "dolled up"'s surgery may play to someone's particular kink.  Or someone just skipped the early quests and is a touch lost because they restarted their game lol).

As an aside, how hard would it be to create something akin to "Sanguine's Debauchery Lite" around this concept?  Might be a fun way to "end game" the enslavement mod and/or tie into this, a way to tie the main game together with Nuka Ride, kind of like the scooter element does.  A way to do the raider wasteland settlements without the agony of repeating for the #84855th time the early nuka world quests.

Anyone have any roleplay ideas for the transition from Nuka Ride to "the real world"? I just finished Nuka Ride 6, and now I'm eager to go play Sim Settlements... but I don't know how to justify the rather sudden change from being weak and constantly protected (or attempted protection...) to being a gunslinging badass. I figure eventually this will be added in to NR, but for now I need ideas, if you have them!

I've been playing through Nuka Ride for the first time as part of the Wasteland of Depravity modpack for the last couple of days, and have had a ton of fun with things so far! So much fun, in fact, that I ended up splurging a bit of time and cash towards updating some of the xVASynth dialogue on my save with audio generated via. 11labs. It's only the female PC lines at the moment, and there's some issues with lip-synching and 'following the mood of the line/scene', but I thought it might be worth sharing the results!

Anyways -- needless to say, I really love what's being done here, and really looking forwards to seeing more in the future!

This is amazing! I was hoping someone would come along and do this. xVASynth and various other tools have come a LONG way, some of the Skyrim ones are spectacular.

I can't think of anyone who needs a voice upgrade more than William lol.
