Use the MCM (Scooter section) and choose the "Enable Scooter" option. Go in front of the apartment and you will see it in its usual place.

Actually I discovered what the problem was. Quite simply when the PC carries too much they get left behind when the scooter or William Blake teleports out of Nuka World. It's the same principle with the vanilla game. The PC can't fast travel when they carry too much!
For any future update you may want to include a warning message to players if they are carrying above their allowance they will not be able to teleport. It will save a lot of time for people thinking they have a bug when they don't!

 

On another note, this was an absolutely amazing mod to play! I experienced no bugs at all! Great story, great characters. And the Overboss was absolutely hilarious!!!

JB, you're not only a brilliant modder, but also a brilliant storyteller.

На самом деле я обнаружил, в чем проблема. Проще говоря, когда персонаж переносит слишком много, он остается позади, когда скутер или Уильям Блейк телепортируются из Nuka World. Тот же принцип с ванильной игрой. Персонажи не могут быстро перемещаться, если у них слишком много груза!
Для любого будущего обновления вы можете включить предупреждающее сообщение для игроков, если они несут больше своего разрешения, они не смогут телепортироваться. Это сэкономит много времени людям, которые думают, что у них есть ошибка, хотя на самом деле это не так!

 

С другой стороны, это был совершенно потрясающий мод! У меня вообще не было багов! Отличная история, отличные персонажи. И Overboss был абсолютно веселым!!!

Можно просто через чит-терминал переместиться в любую локацию .

i ran into this also in NR 5.17 (have not played the NR6 much yet due to having to restart game to fix a different issue).

 

but what fixed it for me at that time was to get the right (vanilla) level in the "strong back" perk.  

i have a couple more things i want to finish in current game before i start NR6 so it will be a bit before i can test if this still works.

So im having trouble starting the mod. I've installed 6.1.1 and the requirements listed but for some reason the mod wont start. Duke never shows up and I cant force start the quest. any suggestions or ideas as to why this might be happening?

I didnt find it in my inventory and theres nothing at Drumlin Diner :/

Go to the Nuka Ride MCM and tell me if everything looks normal (options and such) or it comes up more like a warning. 

Pretty sure you don't have all the requirements installed.

The MCM doesnt even show up, i made sure to install everything on the requirements list so Ive got no clue why it isnt working for me. Any ideas?

If you don't even see the MCM, it is because the mod is installed incorrectly. 

 

You didn't download the WHOLE folder from Mega and installed it as if it was a mod? Remember that in Mega you must choose the files. Individually. 

 

1-Nuka Ride 6.1.1
2-One of the two bodyslide files.

 

And the others are optional.

Oh ok, so i have those files but i didnt realize there was a right way to install it, i simply used the "install from file" feature in vortex. Is the proper way explained somewhere?

It's less a problem of how you told Vortex to install the mod, and more about how you downloaded the mod.

Oh my... im so sorry that i bothered everybody that helped and also i'd like to thank everybody that gave me advice. The only issue is that i was downloading and installing a zip file *facepalm*. As you can see im still fairly new to modding. Thank you again for your help. I got it working.

Uh oh, ......my Vortex looks completely different than yours!!!!!   I don't have any thing called Activado!!!   crap...now I need to go rip everything out and reinstall my Windows 11!!!

funny enough it was the screenshots that actually helped me realize my error

Everyone is new at least once.     This mod is very much worth it and as a result, needs a pretty solid mod pack (the AAF mods in the "Fucking Manual here).   Make sure you have followed that as well.

Yea that is me, just poking at @JB..    Your issue has come up several times in the life of this very large thread, so it gets answered.....about once a month or maybe every other month.   You are not alone, and coming here is the right thing to do.

made some quick and dirty (becouse some mising tag) ini file for (SAKR to pair with SH) need robco patcher to work .for people who use NR outfit in game . if SAKR  author add more tag i remade this .(just share ) mb for some people this be usefull

I have a couple minor animation issues. I'm not sure if they are Nuka Ride related, but this is where I'm encountering them so I was hoping someone that hit the same things here might be able to help.

 

1. While working in Nuka Club, the end of the tail on the bunny outfit ignores physics and instead is fixed to a static spot and stretches to the base.

 

2. Also, some scenes add tongue to the character, but the tongue is always in the position as if the character was standing up, so it's usually static and floating above the action.

 

I'm using CBBE body with no physics if that matters.

 

3. When returning home after working in Nuka Club, there's Overboss waiting there. At the end of the conversation there's an option to "since you're here, do you want to spend some time together?", which should start an animation, but instead I get "Failed to play AAF scene. Advancing stage." error.

 

These are the lines that pop up in AAF error log:

I thought it's just furniture out of  range, so I've tried to set AFF setting furniture_search_area all the way to 10000, but got the same error.

 

Also, Overboss is next to the kitchen/shower room, dunno if that's the intended location.

This is not NR's bug, but the AAF's.

If you try to run the animation manually using the AAF menu, you will notice that the search for furniture lasts 2-3 seconds. But when the animation is called by mod, it starts almost instantly.

The thing is that AAF uses a simplified search for furniture, if the animation is called by the mod. And yes, sometimes AAF doesn't see the furniture even if the characters are standing next to it. This bug is absolutely random, you can play for 30-40 hours without seeing it once, and then it can arise 5-6 times in one hour in the same scenes that previously worked fine for you.

Solve it almost always help restart the game, but sometimes you have to restart the game several times.

 

This problem has a solution, and in NR-6 it was done for a lot of other scenes, but this scene has been forgotten for now.
