AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

In my last two playthroughs, I started with Heather loaded.  I confirmed her dialogue was working after leaving vault 111 but before going to Nuka World.  After finishing Nuka Ride, I went back and recruited Heather. (I reloaded the save after confirming she worked, so as far as the save file was concerned, I'd never spoken to Heather before.) Her dialogue was fine for a short while, and then it wasn't.  I've long since abandoned poor Heather in this playthrough.  She actually ran off on me, and I randomly ran into her standing in a house somewhere between Murkwater Construction Site and Sommerville Place.  

 

I want to be clear: I don't know whether your mod is causing the problem or if its another mod.  On Heather's page, I have seen two or three other people report the same problem.  One shared his mod list with me, and he didn't have Nuka Ride, or any AAF mods, or really any other mods similar to mine that were likely to cause a problem.  My best guess is that something is causing a script lag, because xEdit shows that nothing is conflicting with Heather in my load order.   I'm really hunting for a culprit, and this mod is on my list of suspects.  It's not a long list, but it's more than a handful of mods. That's why I thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else had the same problem.

After trying to resolve many such issues I find it much easier to have a completely separate play though for Nuka Ride.  Many mods (companions included) add no value to Nuka Ride and eliminates the potential for weird conflicts.  MO2 makes this very easy.

Just a note for people having a problem with Heather.

I did the entire Nuka Ride with both Heather and Ivy. They were fine, their dialogs were fine, but they did get in the way.

I continued with them after I finished Nuka Ride, and am now working on progressing their stories.

I have to say it again - no problems of any sort running Nuka Ride with Heather and/or Ivy.

Doing it over - I would not pick them up until after Nuka Ride, just because they are no help and got in the way.

Hi, JB. First, congrats on releasing another new mod today. I'm going to finish the Nuka Ride playthrough before I try it, but it looks awesome :)

 

With regard to Nuka Ride, I ran into a mod conflict, but it has an easy work around from the player side. I'm just going to describe it in case anyone else runs into it.

 

I have Raider Pet installed, and with it if I leave all my weapons in a container somewhere and change cells, most monsters and factions don't attack me. But if a raider gets close enough to talk to me, I get automatically captured as a raider pet.

 

I'd left all my weapons at home before doing the Lucy questline at Abernathy Farm. When Bulldog captured me, Raider Pet immediately stepped in and replaced the collar and took over the conversation, clobbering Nuka Ride's dialogues and stages.

 

Here's how Nuka Ride conversation with Bulldog looked after Raider Pet took over. I could not progress the quest at all.

The easy solution was to equip a weapon before doing the Lucy questline. That removed the auto-capture condition from Raider Pet, and the Nuke Ride dialogues and stages behaved normally. Obviously I had to restore to an earlier save to do that (one before I was captured), but now that I know about the Raider Pet issue it won't be an issue in any future playthroughs.

2 quick questions, first should I use v5.1.5 (test version) or the v5.0.7? Since those are the only 2 I see at the download link. Second will Commonwealth Slavers suspend the start of Nuka Ride or how does the interaction work between the two?

The new version (5.1.5) is quite stable, I would install that. Anytime I will delete version 5.0.x. The new version has two new things: 1 new quest only for Overboss bitches and 1 new mode in the MCM to skip quests. Check the text document, it's better clarified in the last lines. 

 

Right now the interaction with Slavers is very basic. 

 

The correct order would be: 

 

Start Slavers (Duke is dead in the surroundings of Vault 111 without being able to talk to you...)

 

Finish Slavers (a slaver will start the Nuka Ride quest at the end, if it is installed).

One question, everything works really well, but in the Nuka Club I can use all the "warm ups" but not lap dancing.  I have every AAF animation (except rainmaker which the aaf guide says is not compatible) and uap etc. but aaf states that it cannto play lapdancing, what am I missing or doing wrong?

I have just checked it. UAP is missing the "Lapdance" tag. The funny thing is that it does have "Lapdance" for gay men, but you can't do it as a woman, hehe. I'll tell the author about it so he can fix it in his next update.

I've talked to Charlotte. But there are only 3 options for me, go on a mission, film something, and everything is going well around here.

Working my way through Commonwealth Slavers now. JB really outdid himself with these.

What a happy discovery - I saw a random reference to Nuka Ride, and everything took off from there.

hello I don't understand what I have to do for this quest step. I go to the warehouse right next to the farm but it doesn't even happen with the terminal.

Anyone have a solution ?

Go to the stream between Abernathy Farm and Wicked Shipping, you will see some bloodleaf growing (right name?) where the water starts, walk up the stream 10 yards or so and stop and wait.  In the Water.

Bulldog will find you , smoke a cigarette or whatever, it will happen.    G

Well, I didn't respond because I found your message a bit rude. Man that's almost 20 hours of completely free content.  ?

 

You can keep playing Fallout 4 but I suggest you don't do two things in pursuit of future compatibility: 

 

1-Never go to the Nuka World train station because  this mod will auto-shut down, and the DLC will start. In this scenario, all characters in this mod disappear. 


2-Don't do the Far Harbor story. Next year I will do a couple of quests on that island and better be cautious. Remember that in Far Harbor there is a chance that the island will end up completely ravaged by beasts and that would not be favorable to Nuka Ride.

and in the future it will be possible to pass the main plot Nuka? without losing this mod... to be free to perform any plot.  And when is the release of the mod approximately?

Here's his new mod for commonwealth slavery. there you can escape and then get revenge. And then start going through the whole official plot normally... That's what you need to do with the Nuka Ride. Pardon my English... this is a deepl translation)))

Yeah, definitely. To begin with, I would like to add variants of all those dialogues in which the protagonist is displeased with the idea of wearing clothes that are too revealing.

It is impossible. If you've already finished the mod, you'll know that you need the Overboss alive. He is a highly important figure. In the DLC you must kill him. Both mods are incompatible.
