It is very often frustrating when you turn around, look around and immediately the night falls. It seems like I just woke up... and only one thought: “how quickly the years fly by”...

I've had this since Oblivion. I think many people agree with me.

Okay. I just made a script, but I had to add a failsafe.

Suppose you load a save in the prewar. Then I have no way of knowing what your original timescale was. In that case, when you return, it will revert to the vanilla timescale 20.

It works correctly if you eat a cupcake in your apartment (it will capture your custom timescale and save it to apply it again when you return).

In your fallout4.ini there's a spot to add start up commands that's where I set mine so it's permenant

You can also add it using bethini

I did this primarily for Ai playthroughs who are aware of the time and the have occasionally asked me why time seems to fly when they are with me they seem confused because of the difference between PC clock (the server they are running on )and in game clock

It was such a better way of playing that i've kept it for all my playthroughs

this is what sits in general of my fallout4.ini the first bits are so I can grab and drag heavy things around

sStartingConsoleCommand=SetGS fGrabMaxWeightRunning 999999999999; SetGS fGrabMaxWeightWalking 999999999999; set timescale to 6

Such a shame, like others have reported I can't advance past the Pizza delivery quest. Sasha aka Peach will only say "Nuka world, so exciting!" when starting to film the movie. I have tried everything from removing/reinstalling Nuka Ride, advancing to the next stage (230) via command (she is still stuck on that line even in the next scene), removing Nuka Ride World patch and reloading my save from end of 6.9 without the world patch and leaving/reentering the building, Peach just won't start her line even though she has moved to the filming position, leaning against the lamp post. Haven't had any issues with Nuka Ride up until this point so this was a bit unexpected. If anyone finds a solution please enlighten us :)

That's greatYes! An additional variable that switches by event. That's exactly what I was thinking.

That's what I thought. If the variable is empty, it will change the value to 20, did I understand that correctly?

Well to get to this point without problems means it might be a bug but if you're using vortex just check to see if your load order hasn't changed if you uncheck something (like the nukaworld patch) it has a habit of reshuffling your load order when you look away

Thanks, of course.. but... Why so much?? No, I'd rather make a patch that increases strength by 5 for 3 hours after using the CWSS toilet. It's more interesting this way. And for timescale there is a Cheat Terminal or the ~ key. The game will save it anyway. But I can change it at any time, and it won't stop NR from functioning normally.

Personal preference this does not change strength it only changes what you can pick up and drag for example when you have to pick up the molerat and throw it in the ute (pickup) it's easy to do so you can actually run while holding it in front of you and toss it in

No the game will not keep timescale in your save it defaults back to 20 at least that's what happens in my install that's why I set it to initialise on startup

I know what you mean. But I meant that I don't like constant cheats. Of the constants, I use timescale only. And even then I want to be able to change it at any time.

My timescale is always saved. It's never been any other way. It's the same in Oblivion, New Vegas, Skyrim.

Maybe we have different ini settings. Maybe something else...

Then why all the questions about it if you already have your time scale set to how you like it?

Ok so the Captain did his movie, everything worked well, some strange hiccups but resetting the setstage to the same step fixed them easy. Like Music not going to the private quarters, setstage corrected that. Corsican for some reason planted his butt in the Vertibird so I had to tcl into the bird to be able to talk to him. The "Catfight" music did not follow after so I had to return to the private quarters to talk with her, after that it corrected itself to have us both on the landing platform.

A note of interest as it has happened a few times in the past (not mentioned simply cause it is hard to know if it is another mod proccing or that an NPC for some reason decides to walk off) but in long conversation sequences it sometimes breaks, 1 of 2 things happen, I can select the NPC (mouse over and press "E") and the whole conversation start again from the beginning, or, I have to reload and then do the scene all over again. As I said though it could just be bad luck on my part that something has procced and over-ridden the conversation.

The questions were addressed to JB. There is a quest in the Nuka Ride mod in which the timescale changes. First, the timescale takes the value 0, and then it changes to 20. Since I use the timescale value of 5, I wanted to suggest that JB use an additional variable to store the current timescale value in it. But JB is smart, he already understood everything and created the necessary code in the script. That's why the dialogue turned out to be so short. Well... Something like that...

And then you offered something, and I answered... No more than that... I naively assumed that we were just sharing experiences and opinions.

Oh,cool no worries they just sounded like question from curiosity on how the timescales work in game and how to achieve a result you were looking for

Quick question: what is the next step or quest after checking on the Mirelurk hatchling?

My workaround was using console commands to summon Beagle (the Mirelurk hatchling) directly to me to complete the misc quest dialogue. But now I've hit a new problem—no new quest prompt or objective is triggering next

Here are some current in-game screenshots!! Since I'm stuck with no quest prompts right now, I'm just running around taking pictures for now haha.

Did you try to talk to the walking robot at the diner or did you try to get in the truck actually?

That quest is a Trigger for Music to talk to you. If you are short cutting it by teleporting Beagle to you then, you won't get the continuance from when you go to Beagle and talk. Earlier you mentioned a CTD when trying to enter the Tattoo Store (A key location) I would look at trying to fix that. Another option which is a longshot work out what stage in the quest talking to Beagle is, the setstage at the same stage (sounds weird but it works to reset the stage) which means the game will move you to where you are meant to be. As a bonus that might fix the CTD problem as well.

This one has world altering mods ,until they are disable endless problems will occur that's why the enter cell ctd's are happening

I did both, I followed the eyebot. Then talked with the walking robot and finally tried to get into the truck but nothing happened.

The most basic problem people have with this mod is not having it sitting at the bottom of their load order with whatever NR patches you have below that

Okay... in this game, there aren't any vehicles implemented as you think, except for some mods. The problem is that no scripts are running in your game, and that's due to several reasons.

  • You have too many resource-intensive mods. Limit yourself to Nuka Ride as the only quest mod for now.
  • Incorrect load order. Put Nuka Ride at the end of your load order.
  • You're missing hard requirements.
  • You need to start a new game; that save file is corrupted if the scripts didn't start. Use SKK Fast Start to start a new game; you'll be out of the vault in less than two minutes.

how to achieve a result

By the way, about achieving the result. I'm wondering why I have a TimeScale change saved in my game, but you don't? This shouldn't be the case either. TimeScale is a global variable, and changes to it should be stored in the save file.

Hi @JB. I noticed the RobCo SAKR file didn't have some of the newer/newish items added, so I merged what was done with the full export from the latest NR plugin and made a new one.  I also made a couple minor changes in a few of them, mostly on heel height, but a few updated/added keywords for a few outfits.  Here it is if you want to include in a future update.

I only noticed because I am using High Heel Training in my 7.0 play though with HHT using SAKR instead of the HHS option and the Larsen Heels had no keyword and said I was barefoot.  I think I got everything, but I still could have missed something, let me know if there is something I missed and I can add it easily in the SAKR editor.
