This is an old topic, but I'd like to chime in regardless.

 

I don't personally care. Maturity should be based on maturity alone -- not age. That being said, if it were oh-so-important for some higher-up to implement an age verification system, it would be hard to lie if done correctly. By correctly, I mean doing what the Korean gaming companies do. Insist a source of valid identification (I believe the game IMVU does that as well). But of course, then you'd have people whining about privacy.

 

There's really no winning. The easiest thing to do is stick with the ToA and cross your fingers, haha.
