Out of ideas, out of mind CTD

-First build of oblivion run stable, 220+ mods, play for 2 hours or more, one to two CTD

-Update most mods, added few new mods, rebuild batch, start over playthrough, continued CTD

-Removed all mods, uninstalled Oblivion

-Reinstall Oblivion, mods, remove regs, clean regs, clean install

-CTD every 5 minutes, with same mods

 

I usually tested the build by going alone the road around Imperial lsle. Start from one point and see if I get CTD. I usually pass the starting before CTD, sometime just CTD not far from starting point. All these mods are all the same I have in the old build. No 4k texture, big graphic texture. I usually solve the problem by added mod one by one. I even installed mods one by one. Even running a few of these mods I still getting CTD before reaching my starting point. I know the problems with Oblivion. I have every OBSE plugin. I ran these mods before, I just never experience this much CTD before. I am running out of ideas of what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

For one thing, does Knights - Revelation have Knights as a Master?

 

Have you sorted your load order with BOSS?

Whenever dealing with 'Lovers with PK', it was advised to check the load order of your mods.  This because there would be times that one mod may conflict with another. And after some time, a recommended order was devised.

 

Now below is a BASIS mod order, an essentially stripped down version of what the LAPF system recommends.  It clearly doesn't list all mods... not possible.  But it does list a few critical ones (UOP and some DLC), and shows categories where others would belong, such as Mascar's Oblivion Overhaul being grouped with other overhaul mods.

Bethesda load design , is hella broken horrible the .esl files in skyrim is a MASSIVE improvement.... I would also suggest hashing all your file so you will know what changed. Bethesda seems too stuck in their ways to get a system like OPEN MW that now supports 3 of their games a FREE community was able to fix their whole AAA game engine , SAD.

Still can't get any thing to work, still CTD. Use LOOT, BOSS to test load order, add patches. I can't even ran vanilla without CTD now. Guess I'll just leave as it is.

You can do one thing, but you probably won't like it- restore to a system backup. This should put your mostly working game back the way it was before you installed the new mods and all that other stuff. Takes about thirty mins for me to do. You should have been looking at stability fixes in the first place with ctds every two hours cause that shit don't get better with time and saves.
