InsolentTedium Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Hi, I'm working on making my Skyrim as dark as possible, I was working on this some time back, but stopped playing for a few months, now wanting to get back into it. And hoping people may have suggestions to add to my already found list? So far I have: Cathedral Weathers Clean up your Corpses Dark Forests of Skyrim Daugr (meatier appearance and better sounds) Enhanced Blood Textures Forbidden Luxury (though I would love to find an alternative or add on that shows the body skinned) Gallows Heart Breaker Justice Maximum Carnage Namiras Goat Reborn Northern Grass Poison Bloom Sexlab Jail Rape (for ambience) Sexlab Solutions Sexlab Submit SL Defeat Supreme and Volumetric Fog The Marshlands Violins A number of MiHails Monsters I'm also currently looking into an Audio Soundtrack and a fantasy effects Soundtrack And will be adding Slave Girls by Hydragorgon for ambient Slavery I am playing a male Dovahkin, his a born Werewolf and hunter of people (they are his food source), his interest is in hunting and eating his prey, at times taking other advantages first (his brutal), he has no interest in enslaving them and I have no interest in him being enslaved himself. Any ideas please? Dark atmosphere and dark behaviour.

Though sadly the Dark Fantasy Overhaul Mod is no longer available and Honored Dead isn't available for Skyrim SE ...But he did put me onto the Fog Mod and the Soundtracks
Gukahn Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 If you are planing on runing with Followers there are some freaky ones that totally fit in a dark fantasy world https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/20911049?tab=user+files Creed, Khord, Zhiri, Hide or/And Grim would be my first choice. Also i would get Timing is everything, not that it adds creep and horror itself but it let's you turn vampire attacks on towns on again. Also i would swap normal defeat with Bakas on the patreon (its free.) it is way faster, animations start in a few seconds. For Monster i highly recommend Demonic Creatures Even if you don't run with creature animations, some of this fuckers are really creepy and it adds better enemys in general to your game. When you runing Werewolf, either get Growl for a better WW Experience or moonlight tales? I would suggest growl if you planing on having creature stuff. No Followers, but they look perfect if I had wanted to ...Yes, Timing is Everything is a standard in my Mod list, that and a few other Mods by Kryptopyr, she's good I tired to download Baka's Defeat off his Patreon Site, but am getting a 404 Error, I will need to do a little more hunting for that one, all good, hopefully will be able to find it ... Demonic seems to be using a number of MiHails Creatures from what I can make out, I will take a closer look later today. Gorgeous Werewolf, I use three Werewolf appearance Mods to create mine, looks kinda similar lol, this one might be easier ...Yes, I use Growl ... I'm on the clock this morning, getting ready for work... Will take a closer look tonight.

I don't tend to use the masks myself, but this will finally give me reason to collect them ...thank you I found this guy on my hunt, 'Arctic Scroll Mods'... I have decided to copy his environmental Mod choices, though keeping Marshlands along with it, which I think will also add a good contrast to the open lands his choices create, as Marshlands is very claustrophobic ...Marshlands also scares the sh*t out of me at night lol, the first time I entered was at night and the first indication things weren't going to be pleasant was maniacal laughing right behind me, made me jump a mile lol...that was my first meeting with MiHails Foglings, things just getting creepier and creepier from there on in
