Help me please with some recommendations, I cannot find it myself

I was really trying to find the information myself but I have to resort to asking for help because I am going around in circles. 

 

I want to have sex with people in Skyrim SE. I have Sexlab, Fnis, CBBE, some physics, SOS etc. It is all working. I have FlowerGirls which works fine but does not appear to give much control as I would like. I had 'Follow Me For Sex' which worked for some time but my game started to glitch a lot and I had to remove it. 

 

My problem is that I search for tutorials, they all say the same things: install Sexlab, install Fnis, etc etc, then there is the classic step "then go to loverslab and start downloading!" and that is where the tutorial ends. But when I look here in this forum I see pages and pages of mods that I am not really interested in, do not apply to me, are "small"/cosmetic mods, there are many sub forums here that I do not find a list of actual sex mods/animations, and reading multiple 8 year old reddit threads I am ending up going around in circles and spending hours reading out of date or irrelevant information without actually getting anything done.

It seems that there is a lack of information in this middle area, the one where you have the basics working but not the actual sex part, then there is endless customization on the other end.

 

So to expand on what I am looking for:

I want to have sex with anyone in Skyrim SE, without messing around trying to charm/bewitch/raise skill them, I want to have some control over which animations get played (Flowergirls seems to be completely random, even if I select "I want to be on top of you" they often lay next to each other and masturbate, for example - if an animation plays that I do not want to see currently then tough luck, I have to skip through the scenes of it until it finishes and restart for the next lottery?)

 

Follow Me For Sex was close to what I wanted as you can change the animation which is playing freely, although more freedom would be nice - something like in Sims 4 where you command to have sex and can open the animation list and choose whatever you want (and they are usually named something appropriate unlike Fnis's indecipherable poses codes, a1243g, a1538h, a34566172, c35672, d563721 etc) 

 

I read about "zaz"

 

but there does not seem to be any hint of whether these require something other than sexlab (etc) to play them, just a load of information about tears in his eyes, credits, updates, older packs?? pack 8 and 8+? Should I, a newcomer to Skyrim and modding, know what this means or what they are?

I am sorry if I appear whiny and demanding but it is tiring me and I feel like everything is made by modders FOR modders and not explained clearly for newcomers, along with overwhelming irrelevant information.

 

I want to control the animations, I want to make people naked without removeallitems, I want options.

 

So besides FG and FMFS, what could I try to have instant and freedom/nice control for sex?

Thank you for the reply, but it doesn't really help me or answer my questions. SOS and CBBE, as far as I know, do not play animations like I have asked for. Plus I do already have both of them installed, as mentioned in my post (though it is a huge wall of text - I don't blame anyone for not reading it all)

 

I'm looking at some of the links in the threads you posted. I don't know what they do, they don't explain clearly at all. Tried installing Eager NPC's, can't get it to work at all.

 

I guess I'll see if I can get Follow Me For Sex working again. Perhaps someone else can recommend what they use that is similar to what I want.

These two threads link most mods available for SE. No need to go through hundreds of pages of old threads in different forum sections. Once a mod name catches your attention read the description and see if it's for you or not. If you want to install it make sure you're also getting all its requirements and follow any install/configuration instructions if you can find them. After you install any mod, go in game and try its features. If you don't know how to make it work go back to the description and try to make some sense of it. That should work for every mod.

 

No idea about FG, but just to make this clear now: SL mods (so most things you find around here) won't work with FG. So assuming you have a functional Sexlab framework already installed.

• To control which animations are played there are a few options. As you mention Follow me for sex has dialogues to pick the type of animation that will play. There is also Sexlab Tools which adds a hotkey to access a list of animations. I think other mods also have a similar feature but I can't remember which ones.
• Sexlab has two features to manage which items are removed/kept during animations. Check the Sexlab MCM, there you'll find a Strip Item Editor to fine tweak which items are removed or kept. There is also the Stripping and timers? page which allows you to strip or keep items based on the body slot they use (if you want a few specific items the Strip Item editor would be best here).

Options come from the mods you chose to install and from knowing its features. And I know, it's a lot. And specially in SE, where you need to check if each mod is compatible and plenty of ports don't depict the original description (or the original description isn't that useful nowadays). But the info is there. Perhaps you need to go back to the original mod page for the full description (like the ZAZ packs), or skim through the original forum thread for more info because the main post isn't very descriptive, etc. That's what happens when you have to deal with years of content made by different people.

No idea which animations you're talking about. SOS and CBBE are the most basic and known body replacers for male and female. Yet complete and competent in terms of features. You'll need to specify which animations are these not supported by SOS and CBBE in case there is really such thing or a workaround.

Sexlab Tools sounds like something to investigate next.  That's what I need: anecdotal suggestions of what others use/like that relate to what I'm looking for. Not 100's of links to everything ever made, which only contributes to the "spending hours reading, getting nothing done".

 

I just tried Eager NPC's but couldn't get it to register at all. Perhaps that is a FlowerGirls conflict? First time I have heard about this, I am quite new to it. Also I installed zaz animations but again I find it unclear how to use, and reading the support page(s) don't help me either. It is at least recognized in the MCM, and when I click N on an NPC I get the "Zaz animation pack: selected actor" notice, but then have no idea what to do next. FG is still installed though, maybe I should remove it?

 

Ignore the SOS/CBBE part of my post, that was my point, I have them already.

The index has a one line description for all the mods covered there, which are also categorized. But whatever, if you don't feel like reading now you'll have more issues along the way.

 

FG is a separate framework. You can keep it in there but it won't interact with SL. Conflicts are possible, but I don't know because I don't use it. That's something you'll need to discover.

You need to go back to the original mod page for the full description. If you read the info there you'll find it's an animation pack and a framework for other mods to add content. I don't know how you expect to use it.

Yes, exactly - neither do I. How does one normally use it? Because I don't see anything in there that tells me how to use them. Why does it not seem to say anywhere "these animations need an extra mod for you to be able to use them, we recommend X/Y/Z?

 

Looking at some items from the Index you linked me, guess I'm looking at the "one line explantions" for something that says "A mod to play animations".

The first one that looks like it might do that is:

I... don't know if that's what I want? It "registers" them? What does that even mean? It makes SL recognise them? But does it enable me to play them or not? Who knows. 

All the other mods on that page have nothing about playing the animations.

THIS MOD IS A FRAMEWORK AND ANIMATION PACKAGE IT DOES NOT DO ANYTHING ON ITS OWN !!!!!!

 

I understand you may be new to all of this, so really simple: There are frameworks and mods that use said frameworks. A framework (Sexlab, ZAZ) won't do much on its own, because they're there to offer features for other mods to use them.

SLAL makes it possible to get animation packs (commonly known as SLAL packs), if you were to install an animation pack it should say it requires SLAL and then you would need to find how to use it. So yes, you're basically registering animations for Sexlab to detect them. ZAZ is its own anim pack and framework, so it has its own MCM with a register function.

You get a mod that starts SL animations. There are plenty and you already known the most used ones. There is Follow me for sex, SLEN, matchmaker, SL romance, and a few dozens more that I won't list here. Just pick a few mods from the threads already mentioned and see if it sounds like something you would want to use. If you don't know how to make a mod read. If after reading you still don't know how to use it stay way from it and don't use it unless another mod requires it or after finding enough information so you learn how to use it.

I just reinstalled Follow Me For. Seems to be working fine and it has some compatability with my newly installed zaz - I was able to see the pillory cumshot animation which I don't think was standard in Follow Me, but is a part of zaz animations. But all the other animations seem to be the ones from Follow Me (or Sexlab itself? I don't know where exactly they're from, but they're not new ones from the zaz pack like I was hoping for)

 

So where are these zaz animations? How do I get them to play in Follow Me? I'm just seeing the old ones. I've looked through the MCM options for Follow Me, Sexlab and Zaz, but don't see any way to get the Zaz animations playing via Follow Me.

 

Are there any "animation playing" mods that let you do things like select the animation from a massive list of all the ones you have installed and then, like magic, it plays the one you chose? Because I don't know if such a thing exists, everything I've tried so far seems to be quite literally random.

You already asked this. SL tools. Otherwise you have a few options (like selecting the animation type) or none (totally random animation) depending on the mod you use to start animations.

 

Most mods used to start animations will pull an animation from the ones you have installed and registered. The anim you mention probably came from ZAZ and was started via Follow me for Sex. Your best bet seems to be get SL tools to work, so try it and if you encounter problemes ask in that thread.

For basic sex, OStim might be a better choice, it seems to be more user friendly at least. It still has a limited number of animations though.
