While I am viewing this thread.

You did a damn fine job with the males in this mod. They are now my default playing race.

No more rough looking bricks being used by me now :P

I tried creating a companion based on this mod and I keep getting a texture issue.

The hair even though it is bugged in the CK displays fine in the game.

However I keep getting a mismatch color on the forehead, the player character if it is Ningheim is not affected by this.

We have Urshi to thank for the males. He made the textures and gave good feedback on every decision I made regarding the men. It really paid off.

As for the forehead issue: The tintmasks are too big for the CK to handle.

You need to temporarily resize the tintmasks your follower uses from 2048x2048 down to 256x256. Export the follower FaceGenData, and manually upscale the FaceTint to 2048x2048 and add the tintmasks in on their original scale. I heard NPC Editor can do this automatically, but I have never used that program.

When you're done you can return the tintmasks back to normal.

Posting it here, so others can see it too.

More information, future plans and of course the download itself on the modpage. :)

Ya got my vote Seren, I am not one who likes followers but this looks to damn good to pass up, I can't wait to get home next week to try this out. Excelent work my friend!! :)

Do you want an ESM with FormLists so you can access the vanilla hair/eye types? I recommend making a duplicate and adding it to the race's FLs instead then.

I'm currently taking a week break on modding due to RL matters requiring my time. Use Wrye Bash to ESMify the race's ESP, it's just two mouse-clicks.

Maybe I am mucking something up, here. I have been seeing this race for a while and finally decided to have a go at it. I LOVE it, save for one little itty bitty problem... the hands are mismatched. Not just colors, they actually have a seam and appear to be too small on the body. I have tried replacing them in the Ningheim female body folder but it doesn't change anything so I have no idea where it's loading this from. I used the installer, the UNPB-BBP dawnguard version with the wet skin texture.

I am really hoping you can just show me how stupid I have been and overlooked something simple! XD

Aaaaaaand I found the solution. The xvisionchildren.esp does not play well with Ningheim. It's making the race read resources from the children files. Oi!

Wtf? Really? Moah, there isn't even any conflict shown in TESEdit... outrageous!

.. hours of my life ...

Edit: Wow,this is absolute rediculous. Even when Ningheim Race is loaded last, xvisionchildren is interfering oO

Hey everybody, I know I've been posting screenshots again and stuff, but I'm also slowly getting back to modding. Don't expect to see anything new any time soon, but I am working on improving my modeling skills so I can become a decent outfit mod author in the long run.

If you're interested in finding out about new sliders for this race (think ECE!), then check out my full return message on the official mod page.

I hope you're all enjoying the mod. See you around!

Will there be a real ECE support? If so, it's really great, I've been waiting silently for this! ♥

I love the race but race menu, not so much.

Nope, I find working with ECE too much of a hassle and I'd probably have to re-do a lot of things which I don't have time for. CharGen Extension looks very good so far.

Ah too bad :/ I always found race menu less interesting and a bit more heavy. Well I can only guess the modding work involved so I don't blame you...

Thanks anyway, can't wait to see the updates

Hi,

unfortunately I got a neckseam using the textures which came with the installer.

Anything I can do about this?

An update for two scripts has been released to fix the flickering/dimming problem users experienced with ENB's TimeOfDay feature turned on.

It's available under Updates on the mod page.

Can you please explain what in racial skills were causing this lighting stuff? Just being curious myself, but this will also help others to avoid such issues in future.
