squall1151 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hi just an update realy. i just got back in FNV, i have all the files that i need sexoutng ect. Im just wondering if there any any other sound files that replace sexouts sounds? just feel like a change of sound it that makes sense. Also are there any new sex animations? dont know if fallout FNV is still beng modded these days. thanks!
Shinryuu Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Haha new animations must be hard to make, but I agree I'd like to see more!
KainsChylde Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 For sounds, there's the SOSReplacer project. It doesn't actually have any new sounds yet that I know of, but it's made to make it easier to add your own sounds. As for animations, we're suffering from a serious lack of animators right now. If you can animate or know anyone who can, contact Astymma or Halstrom to find out whats needed and get them added.
BruceWayne Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 If you played FNV last month for the last time, than no, no new animations. If you haven't played since a year ago, than yes. As for sounds, there is a new sound replacer mod here. That mod also gives you the opportunity to include custom sounds.
squall1151 Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 so im looking at SOSReplacer, is it eayer to add your own sounds? do i have be a sort of modder? i have no idea how FNV mods are made i ruffly know how skyrim are done guessing its the same thing. im just wondering is it possible to add the sounds from some skyrim sex mods to sos FNV?
BruceWayne Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 There are instructions in the resource file how to set up your own sounds.
t3589 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I stumbled across these in an archived post. If you're willing to do the leg work you could rearrange them to suit your needs.
squall1151 Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 I stumbled across these in an archived post. If you're willing to do the leg work you could rearrange them to suit your needs. is did try and install sos but i had alot of trouble (yes im a dummy) did try and follow the instructions but got so confused with so many files and names i just gave up. was just trying to get the basic sounds to work when you click.
t3589 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 was just trying to get the basic sounds to work when you click. You have to turn off autoplay to take control of the sound system.
squall1151 Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 was just trying to get the basic sounds to work when you click. You have to turn off autoplay to take control of the sound system. i did i just didnt install it right. in the end i just gave up sorry, maybe ill try again another day. when i know a bit more of what im doing.
Phelps1247 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 You take sounds and put them in the folder with the names equal to what you want the sounds for. But you have to provide your own sounds from somewhere else so it's not really what you want. I have no idea where to get them either. Though to make it simple for you... download orgasm.mp3 rename to sos_consensual1.mp3 place in consensual folder Not the exact names, those are listed with the mod but you should have the idea now.
t3589 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I have no idea where to get them either. Even after I just posted a 'where'? lol 1. Download some sounds. 2. Listen to them. 3. Decide for yourself what kind of sound you want it to be. 4. Rename the sound to a filename listed in one of the lists. ie. If you want it to be an orgasm sound, open the orgasm voice list and rename it to one of those. 5. Drop it in the folder of the voicetype that you want to play those sounds. ie. /data/sound/voice/SOSReplacer.esp/playervoicefemale/ if you want it to play for the female player. It's quite simple.
beck11 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Unfortunately I cannot find the time anymore to make new animations. I could probably spend 45mins a day just making stuff but thats time spent away from doing things I'd like to do. When I was in full swing making animations I was neglecting my own life as well. I'd probably get back into it when animation becomes "one of those things I'd like to spend my free time on" but for now I need to take an extended break. Since nobody wants to learn animating these periods of lulls where no new animations are being made will continue, we need more people to take up animating. At the very least it prepares animators for when everyone eventually buggers off to Skyrim.

Can you post some recommended reading for someone who might want to take it up? Or is there a tut that directly relates already? I have to admit when I say I'd love to know how, it doesn't necessarily mean I'd love to do it. lol I sure like to fix things though. More of a mechanic than a modder. I also have to admit Skyrim is pretty darn dazzling. Some of the screenshots I've seen look remarkable. But there is only so much wizards and dragons I can take. Mainly because I wore out the fantasy genre in my youth. These days I'm much more interested in sci-fi. It doesn't get stale for me, and it's easier to relate to as I see it happening irl all around me (sci-fi coming to life that is).

Can't say I blame you, RL always takes precedence and making anims is about as tedious (and unrewarding, apparently) as it gets. RL always takes precedence though, so don't sweat it. While I have a lot of my plate right now and don't have the time to devote to this, animation is always something I've wanted to try my hand at for FNV and I've done a bit of cursory reading on the subject and have downloaded the necessary programs. I won't be able to start now, but maybe in a few months time I will be able to get the ball rolling. I definitely see the problem with just having one animator and nobody to pass that knowledge to. In regards to Skyrim, personally I think that boat already sailed. I think most modders made the jump directly from Oblivion to Skyrim, those who were interested in that genre anyway, and I don't even think a great deal even bothered with FNV. Those that did I think have already moved onto to Skyrim a long time ago too. To that effect, I think what we have now is likely to stay that way with some minor fluctuations, but nothing drastic. A lot of people aren't into the "fantasy" scene, and I'm one such person. So long as people like us remain, I think we'll be fine. I'd love to know how to do this for the sole purpose of fixing faff (or whatever works) during sex. Can you post some recommended reading for someone who might want to take it up? Anyway, like I said above, I did some cursory reading, and I came across these which can be quite helpful for beginners. When I have the time, I intend to follow up on them fully: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_character_animations http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Manual/Your_First_Animation/1.A_static_Gingerbread_Man http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Manual/Your_First_Animation/2.Animating_the_Gingerbread_Man Hope they help!
BogBrush82 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 If it's any consolation, I'm a big Skyrim fan, but even I keep coming back to New Vegas.
saladboy21 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I also enjoy both games and hope for good mods for Skyrim like sexout has. Right now there is not a lot of meat though, compared to stuff like Pregnancy and the story mods we have. The sounds are not too hard to do, I was able to do them, but it is tedious. Copy and paste is your friend. Have list up, copy, hit rename, paste, copy from list, rename file, for awhile.
KainsChylde Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Skyrim is boring to me. Beautiful but dull, like a stupid supermodel.

t3589 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 (edited) I meant from a sound library or something entirely new. Not an archived post on here. If you don't have any sounds, those would be new wouldn't they? i have sort of got it working but i have a few odd questions. when can you play the sounds? for example can i keep clicking it and it will keep making a noise? i aslo noticed it says, sex then 3 numbers, is this so that when i click it will make the noise? also i cant get the SexIntensity to work i have renamded all 3 files, but when i click it doesnt do anything, do i have to have another folder inside the file? also what is track 01 file? in the instructions? and can it be any format? Sounds play during sex. If you want to control the sounds yourself, look at the OP under 'How It Works'. Yes you can keep clicking it. I'm not sure what you mean by sex then 3 numbers? Forgive me, but I don't understand 'I have renamed all 3 files'. SexIntensity voices currently support up to 96 files altogether. The system picks sounds to play randomly from a pool of sound files. If you've only installed 3, that's why you're not hearing them. For example: If you only install one SexIntensity01 voice, and SexIntensity01 supports up to 36 files, then you're getting a 1 in 36 chance that sound will play. Which will result in more silence than sounds playing. The solution is to install more sounds. A folder inside a file? I'm not sure what this means? You shouldn't ever have to mess with folders. Track01 sounds are for modders, you can safely ignore them. Your files can be in wav, ogg, or mp3 format. I would advise you to download the playevoicepack. Open it up and you'll see an example of what should be inside your folders. EDIT: You can safely ignore the .lip files btw. Currently they do nothing for the PC. Edited May 2, 2013 by t3589
saladboy21 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I think he means sometimes during sex you see numbers flash on the screen, like "Sex003" or something like that.

Trying to figure out how to disable them now.
