1. You need OBSE for the mod to run.

2. Post your load order.

The Estrus Self series of spells ARE cast on self, i.e. the player. What problem do you think you have? Do you mean you want a mod to have NPCs cast Estrus spells on the player? Pretty dangerous as Estrus Traps shows.

No, sorry I meant the Estrus Curse spells that can only be cast on NPCs, I was wondering if there was a version to cast on the player/on self.

Ah, understood. The good news is that I looked at doing it a while ago and intend to do it when I have time. The bad news is that it isn't intuitively obvious how to implement it on the player. Didn't surprise me as if it had been straight forward, it would have been available from the outset.

Don't hold your breath but I intend to try sometime.

you could use the same coding as the roper copying that and editing the nifs to be the curse nifs

odd though when i cast curse on a npc it doesnt work only puts the braces on the arms and legs and the underwear nothing else :(

Estrus Curse doesn't work that way. It's more than just a simple cast on target. You then need to keep the crosshair centered on the target and hold or press keys (It's a while since I used the Curse).

That's why it isn't simple to enable it on the player. It would have to be converted to sequence through the stages according to time passed, making it more like the roper style animations.

This is from the Estrus readme:

        - Aiming Npc with Crosshair + Grab-key(Z) + shift: curse stage up(1->2->3 ... 7->8->7->8 ... )
        - Aiming Npc with Crosshair + Grab-key(Z) + Gurad(mouse-right-button): curse stage down(2->1) or curse stop
        Stage: 1, 2 => set equipment
               3~ 6 => preparing capture ( Between 3~5, you need to keep aiming & holding Shift+Z. If you don't do so, npc escapes curse-state. )
               7~ 8 => captured

Don't know if it has been hit already, but irrespective of the armor's rating the simple, 'estrus' (self/other) completely reduces armor from 100% to zero %.  I don't quite want this, is there a way I can reduce the breakage percentage?

Guys, I have some good and bad news.

You want to hear the bad news first? Okay, well here is the good news anyways.

Cotyounoyume and I were able to find out the author behind the estrus creature mobs mod and videos, and the author is some dude who runs a Japanese blog. Here's the blog: http://akuobli.blog74.fc2.com/

The bad news is that he won't release the mod due to using various mods with (apparently) no permission. Also, in cotyounoyume's response to me, he said that the author also made it for "his personal enjoyment".

If you don't believe me, here's cotyounoyume's response:

"Ah, these are not mine neither, and I know these file's author ( and I was asked the same question to wolfzq before ).

He is the author of this Blog.

http://akuobli.blog74.fc2.com/

He was saying that the MOD modified for my personal enjoyment.

And he was even saying, "Due to divert the contents of various authors, I will not release this MOD."

Therefore, the MOD will not be released it.

Cotyounoyume"

I find the permission excuse to be a bit sad really, all I really see is content from chain beasts (the mobs look and act like chain beasts), estrus, and possibly Cursed Armor. Although I can't really judge others, it seems like another case of a modder showing his cool shit but never releasing it. :( It's a damn shame guys, I'm sorry. :(:( :(:( :(:(

I actually found more videos from him. Call it luck... :P

Interesting stuff.

Wow, I didn't know that he was the one behind those monstergirl mods. Interesting stuff, too bad he won't release them.

That omake video is one of the most depraved things I've ever seen in a game, quick, somebody kidnap the author!

Very nice mod you've got there Firedoom, do you think you'll ever take it up again?

Not for Oblivion.

I'm looking into Skyrim, but right now things are pretty topsy turvy for me. I was, for a time, an employee of the United States Postal Service. I don't know if any of you here have ever worked for that company, but it's nothing like what you see on TV or in the movies. It is extremely stressful and is one of the most (if not the #1 most) hazardous domestic government job in the United States (excluding US territories). That's hard to believe, but in my experience over the past winter I came close to death more times than I can remember. I'm not exaggerating.

After winter was over, I set out on my 50+ mile rural route (which includes several dangerous stretches of mountainous roadways). It wasn't the only route I was going to be on that day because obviously two people called in that day, and we were already short because of sick-leave/vacation/comp-humping regulars. Not that I blame any of them. They knew better than to be out that day, the third day of consecutive torrential rainfall during an especially hellishly heavy week. After casing my mail I set out on my route and was barely twenty minutes in when I came around a turn on a highway, a wall of water errupted over the LLV and I hydroplaned off of the road at about 55 mph. The truck rolled, I know this because at one point I was looking up at the sky through the windshield. The truck landed on it's four, shattering the windshield and wrecking the engine. 80% of the mail ended up in the flooded field I landed in. The truck was totalled.

I walked away with a broken finger. The middle one, of course.xwink.png.pagespeed.ic.EQjgXw8CzK.png

Shortly after that a deputy arrived on the scene and seemed to indicate that he believed the accident was not my fault and was simply a result of weather conditions. An ambulance showed up and I was asked to go inside so I could be examined for symptoms of internal injury. When I finally got out of the ambulance (because it took me some serous TIME to convince the crew that I was fine) I walked to my postmaster's vehicle (who had arrived on the scene to take preliminary photos for invetigation) and got in. About ten minutes later the deputy knocked on the window and issued me a reckless driving ticket.

That was all the ammunition USPS needed to revoke my driving privileges and subsequently issue me a notice of removal. The union is helping me fight to get my job back (been out for over two months now). Meanwhile, I attended my court case (and was well prepared to defend myself) but the deputy elected to "Nol Pros" on the charges which effectively is neither a conviction nor a dismissal. But what that says is that there was not enough evidence to convict me in the first place.

Point is, now that that is off my chest, I may not have much time to work on mods. But I really want to, and I'm still carrying a torch for a Skyrim succubus mod. I don't know if it will ever happen so don't wait up. I'm not any better at modding than you all are anyway. :P

Does anyone know if it is possible to take one of the estrus skyrim sound files and transport them to the oblivion mod, yes I know the file names dont match up but is there anything which means simply dragging the files into the estrus sound and replacing each one wouldnt work?

Sorry if this is an obvious question but I am really a noob when it comes the modding.

If it's just a matter of names, you can easily rename a file.

Just comes down to if both mods have the same amount/uses of sounds. I never dug into Obliv's Estrus(and don't own Skyrim... *sighs*), so I can't say exactly if they're exact replicas. Otherwise you might be left with old sounds mixed within new, or extra new sounds with no use.

Part of me wishes someone would update the Ropers in Oblivion though. All the others looks pretty good, but the Ropers are just.. not very roper-ish....

Thank you for the advice it worked basically took the Sarah voice from Estrus Skyrim alternative sounds and replaced and renamed all the files works fine. However 2 things the skyrim version is notably quieter than the oblivion version so the volume down esp is no longer needed. Also appears to not have any sound for the background tentacles or the a curse style vibrator so those are louder than the rest. If anyone wants the file you are welcome to it just copy/paste.

No idea if I need a disclaimer on not  so here goes all I did was change the sound file all credit goes to cotyounoyume, agoon12 and  BENFU.
