VseTmirykS Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Okey , So after few fuckups I decided to install gameplay changes and bodies at first. I have two problems which might be connected. The first one and which is the most noticable is that executioner's animations (game start cutscene) are beeing somehow switched off when my head is laying on executioner's block and alduin attacks - then when I'm moving freely he is Idleing in the same place, he's not dead(didn't checked his health points) nor did he dissapeared. Also there's a problem with fnis I guess or with some mods, becouse Fnis is reading zaz v8.0 and then zaz+ v8.0. myuhinny Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 It is a well known fact that the starting scene in skyrim is one of the worse areas to have mods active at as the whole scene has a tendency to bug out when mods are installed depending on what mods those are. It is best to not have most mods active until after the Helena section to prevent shit from bugging out and you are done with the scene and have made it outside. The other thing you can do is have the mods installed and instead use one of the alternative start mods that allow you to start elsewhere.

Just to expand on this a little more, you can still use Alternate Start to give all of your mods a chance to load up/initialize safely, and then choose the vanilla start option when you go to the Mara statue. No matter how many times I've restarted Skyrim, I still like that first few seconds hearing the wheels creaking and horses snorting as the music comes up and the picture fades in.
