mastert3318 Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 (edited) For some reason my game is crashing upon loading but I can't find the crash log. I should mention this is my first time installing this mod. Edit: It works on a new character but not my existing character for some reason. Edited June 18, 2021 by mastert3318
mastert3318 Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 How does the belly work? Because the racemenu belly looks different from the one that shows up.

If you're referring to when you eat prey, it depends. If you're using the current, standard Equipbelly by Macross, it is an additional item equipped to slot 60 on your character. Thu it won't show up in Racemenu as a viewable slider. If you're using the 3BAv2 also by Macross, it currently doesn't have armor or clothing support, so you probably shouldn't use it. Edit: To clarify, equipbellies -also- don't have scaling armor or clothing support. but since they equip to your character and aren't a part of your base model, they can still show up if you're wearing armor. the 3BAv2 body won't show any morphs if you have armor on, period. mastert3318 Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Is there any way for you to make the remains for stuff like Giants and Mammoths bigger?
SpaceLemon Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I did another thing: Vanilla male outfit conversions to be used with the Devourment SE - Male AllSliders-EquipBelly body. I know Trivu did conversions already, but I wanted ones without the vore prey belly slider. So here

NotabotT Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 This looks very promising and I'm glad at least someone is working on Devourment stuff, unfortunately, I don't own Special Edition. So I'm curious, is there any plans at all to port this to Regular?

So I'm curious, is there any plans at all to port this to Regular? No. I tried maintaining both for a while, but there are too many engine-level differences. Subtle timing things that don't work the same way, things that cause ctds in one that are fine in the other, etc.
Zeorik Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 (edited) Less a bug with Devourment and more a PSA: If you use Skyrim Immersive Creatures with Devourment, either disable Dwarven Mechanical Dragons or NEVER DEVOUR THEM! I assume this'd also break if you managed to 'clean' the body up some other way, but my game slowed to a crawl script-wise (to the point vanilla soul trap was firing a second after death...) because (I'm at least assuming) SIC was attempting to respawn the dragon I'd eaten several hours prior... but it was no longer there. And this seems to have caused a cascade failure of sorts as the script re-ran, froze, re-ran, froze, and left literally thousands of hanging scripts baked into the save that bogged everything down. Disabling the dragons on a previous save (After eating the dragon but pre-attempted respawn) appears to have averted this scenario. Is it possible to completely block an NPC from being swallowed, living or dead? For reference, it basically just kept making thousands of dragonactorscript.OnLoad stacks that then suspended. Again, this is not a devourment issue in and of itself, just a warning to anyone that this -may- brick a save several hours later if you devour a mech dragon for whatever reason. Do you have USSEP installed?

If I wanted to go and test this, where is the easiest most reliable place for me to find a pre-placed mechanical dragon?

Ummh... I don't know if there's any 100% guaranteed spawns, as in a previous game (LE I think) I encountered one outside of Mzulft. This playthrough I encountered my first here:

The only time you should ever install Dragon Stalking Fix is if dead dragons are stalking you -- which USSEP mostly fixes anyway.

Though speaking of stalking, I have noticed the occasional stalking of a handful of skeleton bones rolling downhill after me. xD But I'll remove that mod and see if that also goes away.

I haven't been able to reproduce that thrashing problem you described, so I'm guessing that it's caused by Dragon Stalking Fix. But let me know if it keeps happening without it.
PastaBoi Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 OK- so ive recently returnd to refractor skyrim. i've updated the mod to the latest version, and now the coldsteel sliders wont work with any outfit/body- despite me making them in bodyslide. all that changes is the vanilla weights and cbbe sliders. if this issue has been addressed and corrected already let me know and ill look there.

The simple answer is: The coldsteel sliders would have to be manually added/ copied into every single outfit MANUALLY in order for them to use the sliders. It's not enough to use batch build in bodyslide and call it a day.

mastert3318 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) Any chance that you'll add more types of bones to remains in the future? More than just human, horse, and dragon? I think that would be cool. But I don't know how difficult that would be. Mammoth skulls are already in the game for example. Edit: This is just a suggestion for something in the future.
