Merasael Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 First, I'm brand new to Lovers Lab. I found it when searching for specific Skyrim mod stuff and during perusal found more stuff. Kinda like when you go to Wikipedia looking for one thing and three hours later you're reading about stuff you hadn't even thought of before Anyway. My partner and I both are gamers of the "high geek" tribe. We've been together for a little over a year, and we both love Bethesda rpg games (among others, like Witcher) and we're both experienced with using mods and also have done modding for ourselves. My last was with Oblivion but it's been a few years so I'm out of the loop. We both play Skyrim and while he has played all the Fallout stuff, I have not. I did try Fallout NV when it first came out and put a whopping 15 hours in before giving up to the bugginess. Upon finding the Sexout info I read through quite a bit of it, and being honest I was pleasantly shocked by the detail presented and the obvious collaborative efforts of this community. I found that I actually had never uninstalled my FNV and Steam had kept it updated, so I booted it up almost a week ago and found it to be infinitely more stable than on release (not perfect by any means though). One of the things I hated about it was that all the female characters seemed to have moustaches and since no woman wants that I downloaded and installed some texture and body mods to correct that and other flaws. Body mods are good for those of us who don't actually have much in the way of breasts to at least have them at least on our characters...without paying $3k to have instant Victoria's Secret boobs. They're not just for the guys, hehe. After playing some more, I decided to overcome my caution and admittedly, my shyness, and came back here. Sexout was the impetus to make me try FNV again after all, might as well get my money's worth, so to speak. So...I went and became a member here and carefully downloaded the disparate parts of the mod that I wanted and after only 2 days of play, I'm here to post: The parts of the various mods I have installed are: SexoutNG Sexout Common Resources SexoutTryout SexoutKhans SexoutKings SexoutNCR SexoutWorkingGirl Smallertalk SexoutZAZ SexoutSlavery (Possible mild spoilers here) First things noticed: My character is female. Sexout is infinitely better than the "Sexual Innuendo" mod on Nexus, which I tried first due to it being on Nexus, making it easy blah blah. It has texture and body swapping issues where my character is invisible at least half the time. Thus far it actually looks like neither mod interferes with the other, which is good, but I don't want any potential scripting bloat. I only have 6gb of ram so this is a potential issue I wish to avoid. Sexual Innuendo has some fun parts to it, but after trying Sexout, it's coming off. It's kindergarten and Sexout is college. Let me be clear, I've only had a couple instances with being invisible in Sexout, and I'll explain that below. Dialogue: The dialogue is mostly flawless (hate spelling and grammar errors..typos are forgiveable). Animations: When on flat ground, the animations line up perfectly and I'm quite sure I've still not seen all the animations that exist, so I'm extremely impressed with this. I'm hoping to find *cough* the ability to have two partners simultaneously, as that would be...um.. fun I don't know how difficult this would be to do, but I think a simple pause in the action so that a second partner could take up a position complimentary to and based on the position the first partner took with your character would make it possible? Something to hope for if it's not in there already Warning to new users - try to be on a flat area and without furniture or other obstacles for your encounters, if you can. Also, while my face is burning as I type this, it would also be very hot if in the future, perhaps the "slow motion" function in the game could somehow be used to introduce, um...messy orgasms on the face and body with appropriate shaders that might last for 10 seconds or so before disappearing. I'm being poked right this moment and prodded to add the word "bukkake". /eyeroll. LOL, he says the Legion would appreciate it! Scripting: The scripting is very well done, with only one instance thus far of a problem. Bear in mind I only have 2 days played, but the only issue I have had is at the Legion camp after telling the slave mistress to piss off and she takes me on her little "tour". I'm not sure what the cause is, but the "Smartertalk" mod which allows you to force conversations with people 3 seconds after having clicked them seems to kick in here during the scripted events, which causes Marissa (I think that is her name) to interfere with the actual event, which caused the only times my character disappeared during the sex event (reappeared after). I figured a work around for this though after reloading an older save: When she takes you on the "tour", stay back as far as you can from each person she stops at, that way she doesn't have time to get all the way back to you before the event happens...then she can't interfere with it. To reiterate, this is the only scripting problem I have found. The "Smallertalk" function works great in all the places thus far. Factions: I've also done the prostitution stuff at the casinos in Vegas, which worked without a problem and is fun. Word to the wise though, as I am using the Populated Casinos - Medium mod, don't get in the cage at Gamorrah or anywhere else without room to move if you have your approach settings any higher than about 10% because you WILL get trapped in the cage. The added patrons will just stand there after the sex event and the others are still trying to get to you, so nobody can move and while the one patron who actually has "initiated" with you can't get to you, you can't move at all, as in you're rooted to the spot. So, don't go in the cages or even the bathroom to avoid getting trapped. Thus far, the factions that I've "interacted" with per the mod are: The Kings, Interactions with The Kings have not presented any problem at all. My only issue with The NCR is that other than in "Official Prostitute" mode with Corporal Betsy, as a female I'm not allowed to have sex with any of the female soldiers at all. I've not yet been to the Great Khans camp or met the Boomers so I can't comment on them, but when I do I'll edit this to reflect what I find. As far as The Legion and the above issue with scripting with Mistress Marissa, no issues at all. *cough* I would love to have more ...interactions... involving the Stocks and being strung up where you get whipped by Marissa. (I never thought before that something like those things would turn me on, but evidently they do). I have not tried The Fiends or Powder Gangers, as I've killed most of them and they hate me The Fiends, well, they scared me when reading the mod description so I never attempted them anyway (approach to 0%) but, I want to do some mod house cleaning to get rid of a few things and start another character and (gulp!) I'm going to try them all. Final Thoughts: 9.5 When/if I find more to add here, I'll be doing it! I love the mod and will be looking at some of the other mods developed for Sexout (although I have no interest in the pregnancy mods). I've tried HUNDREDS of various mods for Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Witcher, Witcher 2, and now Fallout New Vegas of all types, and some of them have been truly game-changing, but this mod is truly brilliant in its animations and scripting and I can only hope for continued development and additions to it. My partner is purely heterosexual male so he'll have to tell me what happens in his game and I'll add to this if necessary. While I'm a heterosexual female by default in real life (by default meaning sex with another woman never came up when I was single or I may have tried it out, I have no aversion to it, just never sought it out), I thought the bisexual female-female interaction was very hot, every bit as much as the male-female. My love now has high hopes after I revealed this to him...but I told him holding his breath would not be wise The only part of this mod I had to turn away from and couldn't watch was on Mistress Marissa's tour. Those that have played this will know what I'm talking about. [spoiler=Something to try...]Something to try: Last night, after my love patched my computer to our tv, we did a little experiment in our living room. My character went into Gamorrah in Working Girl mode and I put her in a semi-open area and the sex interactions set to the default, and .... we tried to match all the positions as she was doing them It was great fun, kind of a new take on naked twister! EDIT: I have created a new character and now tried the Fiends and the Khans. As noted by Zippy in the thread, the Fiends aren't for everyone, but mechanically everything that I did dealing with them worked fine. However, I'm at a standstill with the Khans and I don't know what to do to fix it. Having talked to Regis (I think that is his name, the guy who gives you the alternate method to join the Khans and the outfit) but it doesn't matter how many people I have sex with it doesn't update the quest. My thought is that I have since added Sexout Sex and Sexout Lust to my load order and they might somehow be interfering because only the Sexout Sex standard invitation to sex is what pops up, and that through Smallertalk. Basically, I can't hit on anyone outside of Sexout Sex, because if I disable the plugin, I get no way to propose sex at all. Anyway, this is my first show-stopper but I will be rooting around with load orders and such and see if that can fix it.

If you still want to use some of the wSex plugins without the wSex framework, there's a patch for that; it switches all the wSex calls to Sexout calls. Regarding the SmallerTalk issue, just to be clear, is Marissa the one who starts conversation and breaks the sequence? Will look into the NCR issue. Don't go looking for Boomers content, as there isn't any. The slider was added but Loogie decided not to make a plugin for it. I'll be removing that slider soon. Regarding the Fiends, if you didn't like that one Legion part you probably won't like the Fiends intro either. I don't care for the Fiends plugin myself, it is by far the darkest of the plugins and it makes me uncomfortable which violates one of my Top Storytelling Rules: "Never make your audience uncomfortable. If they're uncomfortable, they don't want to be there, and if they don't want to be there they're probably not." I will probably be making content toggles for a couple things to let people turn off certain aspects.
astymma Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 There is a work around already in Smallertalk. Marissa should be tossed into the SmallerTalkIgnoreList/Faction prior to any scripted events and then removed from that list/faction after it's over.

I hope you'll consider some of the suggestions in my post, but I've never worked with animations so I don't know how difficult it would be to sync up and script a second sexual partner for it. For the messy orgasms, I figured it wouldn't be much different than using the effect that is already in the mod that simulates it, but in slow motion and applying that mess to the face or body similarly to how blood is applied after a fight. (I'd offer to help in even researching how these two things might be done, but I've not modded anything in 3-4 years, and much like a foreign language, if you don't mod, you lose it, it seems :/ ) As far as the Marissa issue, what exactly happens is that if I'm following too close to her, even if I have not clicked her for any reason, right as she's explaining who someone is (Otho or Brianna, these were the two it happened with that were named, along with the unnamed guy at Caesar's tent) she interrupts herself with "hi" or "how *you* doing?", and then I click through that, and if the sex doesn't start immediately, she'll ask me again. My assumption is that this is a Smallertalk issue with this script, but I'm not sure. It's the only place I've found it to happen thus far. As I said, staying back ensured it didn't happen after reloading. As far as the Fiends, thanks again for the warning I'll probably still try them once, and if I can't take it, I'll back up and uninstall that module. From what you've said, it sounds like I'll know really quickly about that hehe. Astymma: Your skeleton is awesome I've tried the whole "bouncing boobs" thing back in Oblivion at one point, and most of the time my character's boobs ended up looking like ...granny boobs or something...stretched and misshapen. Could you suggest a mod that actually works? I don't want boobs flopping everywhere, but a little jiggle here and there might be nice (I'm..skinny would be the word...so these are foreign concepts to me)

The man-hours (and girl-hours too, I'm sure) that have been put into this thing are truly mind boggling. For what you're describing, the best plugin I can think of is SexoutSex, something worked on by a number of people, myself included. I hear you in regards to the writing, grammar and typos - the writing here is generally top notch and I do make it a priority to make my plugins as grammatically correct as possible - it's all about the immersion for me, if something reads wrong, the spell breaks you see. Anyway, SexoutSex allows you to approach *anyone* and talk to them (through SmallerTalk) and engage in sex with them, at which point you can choose two or more partners, just go with the dialogue. I use it a lot to roleplay outside of what the plugin I'm using offers, like if I want to have a Legionary follow me to have sex behind a shack at the Fort, I can, but this wouldn't be possible just using Tryouts, which AFAIK has no "follow me" function. Sometimes, just doing it rough in the open gets old you know As for the skeleton, a good choice would be to have Beware of Girl's Type 3 cali body installed. Then install Astymma's skeleton, and lastly, install the femaleupperbodyT3_Cali_Bouncing.nif from this thread, rename it to femaupperbody.nif and place it in your data/meshes/characters/_male folder, and overwrite. Voila! You should have naked bouncing breasts. If you want bouncing breasts with armour, then download one of the Type 3 bb armours from Nexus. Hope that helps!

I think if you try lust you may really like it, as the orgasm system is very good, and there are some perks you can buy with it that makes sex interact more with the game, like XP for orgasms, easier orgasms, buffing NPCs with orgasms, etc. It's pretty nice. I also like the pregnancy mod a lot, but that is not everyone's fetish. It's good stuff and well done though. I always hated more was not done with the boomers. As a proud but isolated people, there seems a lot of good potential there. And as CK notes, Sexout Sex makes things easier.

Thanks very much for the reply and the advice! I have just been trying SexoutSex and my only disapointment is that it seems to treat all NPCs as males even when they're females. To be blunt (and hope very much that this isn't against the rules here because...cough...I haven't read them) the mod won't let me lick a girl or be licked by one while the other is receiving the same, or for that matter getting fucked by a guy I get only double penetrations with two men, but with two women, that is also all I get (or any combination) and they do not have strap-ons. What can I say, I'm fond of both giving and receiving oral sex but it seems this module won't let that happen in a menage a trois Oh, and a three-way is the limit Three guys at once....this mod makes me absolutely wishful hehe! If there is something else I need to know, please drop a note when you have time. Oh, and I'm also trying the lust mod! It's fun and it works like a charm

It has numerous scenarios each being quite different from each other in feeling and goal. Everything from spreading a mutation to random npcs to Dom/sub play to breeding an army to take over the mojave. each of them being standalone and doable without doing them all but put in 1 mod package. If nothing else the deathclaw episode is a true must play in the sexout community To my knowledge Breeder has been worked on by several modders here on loverslab alot of dialogue was done by ChacellorKremlin and it turned out amazing. Halstrom is always active in the thread talking with user29 and helping with problems. this community is great, the modders here always seem open to ideas and suggestions. It's a very friendly atmosphere

Thanks very much for your kind welcome, it's vastly appreciated As far as modding, I'm a bit overwhelmed but I *am* looking into it and have a couple ideas percolating. The biggest obstacle at the moment is the fact that I live in the exact coldest spot in the continental U.S. and I soooo want winter to be over! (We got exactly 12 inches of snow on May 1st, and that is just wrong on so many levels..../sigh)
