Since I moved muscles off of the body_shape gene to three different genes. Upper body muscle, lower body muscle, and muscle definition. Which allows for well more variety in how characters look. I did catch a an error when I looked into this a bit. but it was a case where I left an "else" expression after getting rid of an "if" expression. Shouldn't be a huge deal, so I doubt it caused it but, I'll be a bit busy with the game update but that'll be in there. In the mean time I know that "Physical Attributes" have working muscles. Though they the causality is reversed in that mod. Having muscles increases prowess instead of prowess increasing muscles. I tested a few things and it knowing that the genes have been changed it seems like a combination of problems: 1. I loaded an existing game and I suppose the new genes probably don't exist on old characters 2. I have a mod that lets you edit things like weight, height, and muscle mass, but I suppose it wouldn't effect the new genes 3. I'm using EPE, and the EPE CBO compatibility patch is now almost certainly out of date So I guess I'll just play with the old version for now and hope that when I start a new game more stuff is compatible!

This is what I'm seeing (copied from a post earlier in this thread as I forgot to take a screenshot). Likewise, when it's a single person, there will be a "copy" above them. It doesn't happen immediately though, which is odd. I've gone through a handful of events before it started happening. This makes testing which mod is the culprit annoying. Is there a way I can fix this? Do you think making a backup of my mod folder, clearing my launcher cache, and moving the backup back would possibly help? Or perhaps a likely mod I can deactivate that's interfering? I'm thinking it may be CBO Animations, which I'd prefer to keep loaded but will remove if it is the culprit. Thanks for your help by the way. You've been very responsive to all my posts with direct replies to me over the past few days. EDIT: I am 99% sure CBO Animations is the culprit. Fortunately the addition to Carnal Court by CruelSonV seem to work and I've disabled CBO Animations, and tentatively seems to have solved the issue. EDIT2: Nevermind, still getting the same issue... I'll deactivate CBO Animations and start a new playthrough and test. For me this f***ed up when i clicked the make love interaction with a 16yr old. That's when the game and Carnalitas think its time for Woo-Hoo but since actors under 18 cannot be undressed, this caused these issues for me which then continued in that save. If i avoid that, i never get the issue again.

Yeah, that's why i am still on 1.5.1.1 and i think it only happens with the byzantinian clothes i think. But definitely just take your time for the update, just wanted to see if thats a known bug.
Makhno79 Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Hi, unsurprisingly the new update has messed everything up, but I've dropped everything back down to 1.5.1.1 and reinstalled, and every character now looks like they're starving to death. Any idea what's up? (ignore the warning triangles, seems to say older versions are for 1.6, for some reason).

The game is designed to bypass the weight portrait modifiers, so that the gene value scripted into their genes shows. But since I added a new set of genes, the game seems to add them all at their minimum value to any premade characters like this. It's an easy fix, I just need to make it so that characters with scripted weights don't bypass the portrait modifier, I'll put in in the next update, though might not be for a while. Or you can throw these into char_body_overhaul\gfx\portraits\portrait_modifiers 00_weight.txt 4.33 kB · 26 downloads 01_weight.txt 3 B · 18 downloads Added these files in and still no dice...
poopyrooster Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 The game crashes with this mod installed when you try to play The Fate of Iberia. I tried with just Carnalita installed no crash and cbo is the only other installed mod. Might be something related to your steam mods updating to support 1.6 and no longer the odler game versions. I always make a merged offline Backup of my collection.

Tried it with custom characters and presets, and still getting it.

I deactivated and started a new playthrough and went through 10+ years without issue before logging off for the night. Unfortunately it does look like the save gets corrupted once the issue starts; deactivating does not fix, only a new playthrough works. Here is my load order for others to reference. First screenshot is mods that are unrelated and play well, second is my loverslab mods and the load order to get things working as expected.

Based on my understanding of how that mod works, deactivating it on a playthrough it was previously activated on would lead to weird things like this. That's just my guess though. I deactivated PA after things looked exceptionally wonky on a new start with PA, unfortunately, keep getting it even on new games. tried it with PA both off and on with new games and still won't fix it.

When entering the struggle (in my case: Varangian adventure against Asturias, as soon as I win the war and unpause after declaring victory, the game crashes.) Pulling the window_event file out of the mix prevents the crash but screws up the gui (misalligned characters etc). I'm certain Mange is on top of it. 2
NoNickNeeded Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I was able to play with the current version of both Carnalitas and CBO just fine. The only mod I had that caused crashes on new games (but not when loading existing games) was "More Cultural Names" from the workshop.
PaulRock Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 After the update all characters disappear, exсept their eyeballs xDD Before update everything been fine, what's wrong?

yj2218 Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) It seems some Iberian hairs are not compatible. there are many bald hairs ? can I fix it myself? Edited June 4, 2022 by yj2218
tomblack123 Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Princes of Darkness mod compatibility would be a lovely touch. Portrait Editor is crashing.
aspshortjock2 Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Does anyone else have an issue with this crashing their game to desktop as soon as they unpause it with the new 1.6 patch? Is there a way to fix it? I only determined this by testing each one of the mods I used. This is the one that gave me the error.
buttonpop Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 still having issues with invisible portraits on 1.6. update any time soon? is there a solution i can hack in the meantime?

Eagleman Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 (edited) @Mange2020 i have still the same problem with the new cbo and donwloaded Characters. To skinny I removed both weight gene.txt from cbo and cbo vanille. Now They are looking normal. But the Musklesystem isn't working. No Muskle then Edited June 6, 2022 by Eagleman
watchdog hentai Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 (edited) Thanks for the Update! However, i have an issue. Asian Monk clothing is applied to characters(especially to Europeans) for no reason. Edited June 7, 2022 by watchdog hentai 2
yoyomanlol Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 I seem to be having issues with the latest update. Character breasts are shrinking to near flat chested after character creation and starting the game. The max weights seem to be significantly smaller than the previous version of CBO and the naked toggle with fullscreen barber no longer works, and instead shrinks and enlarges body proportions instead of removing clothes. There is new drop down menu on the barber shop with the newest version of CBO at the upper right above the original clothes drop down menu so maybe that's conflicting with something? I'm kinda lost. 2
