travelmedic Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 A week or two ago I was fooling around in CAS on an established game. When I exited CAS I did so by clicking the "x" and not the checkmark, so that it wouldn't save the changes. The CAS item in particular was "wyvern feet" by MiniGiles, but I'm not sure if that matters, and they equip as shoes. Anyway, when my Sim is naked, he still has the Wyvern feet, and nothing I've tried can get rid of them. I removed all wyvern feet package files from my mods folder. I went into regular CAS and removed the feet. I entered console and enabled "cas.fulleditmode" and removed the feet. I used MCCC to go into CAS and removed the feet. I deleted my localthumbcache.package when I removed the other package files. Still the feet keep showing up, even when they aren't in CAS anymore. I looked at my WW log and made sure there are no duplicate files. As far as I know everything is up to date after the recent Feb 25th update. My WW log does show the game trying to load the missing CAS part wyvern feet and skipping it. It made reference to a WW CAS file in the save folder, so I went and deleted that file too. Nothing I do seems to rid me of these wyvern feet. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions??? thanks in advance
Crashdown117 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Maybe this mod can help: https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=568792 It's meant to fix nude/bathing outfits with stuck items like shoes.

Vthena Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 You probably already tried, but just in case. Select a new pair of shoes in CAS? It should replace feet.

If it doesn't work, scumbumbo's tool might be an alternative: https://modthesims.info/d/541770/outfit-tools-copy-any-outfit-v4.html That one still works (just used it last week to copy some outfits), despite the last update being from late 2018. I had just forgotten that it also includes some commands to fix outfits.
travelmedic Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 So a little update on this. I tried the first mod listed, actually in the comments section of that mod LittleMsSam updated it in 2019, but it still didn't help. Haven't tried the scumbumbo mod/tool yet. I did however follow an instruction on that page to use Sims4Studio to batch check all CC CAS parts and disable them from the bath/shower. The wyvern and illidan feet weren't detected as being shower enabled. Then followed LittleDoxy's suggestion which mostly took care of it. In my CAS, I scrolled through all of the shoe options, and found bare feet in there as a set of shoes. Equipping them mostly got rid of the wyvern feet from the mod I uninstalled. However, it didn't completely fix the issue. One time my Sim sat down on the toilet and the wyvern feet briefly reappeared and then disappeared again. Also sometimes (rarely) the MiniGiles Illidan feet are showing up on females, so I'm wondering if there's something going on with his feet mods that's causing this??? At least I've made progress, and may have to learn to live with the occasional glitch until I figure this out. Many thanks to the people who commented and helped
B10HAZARD. Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Always remember to delete the "localthumbcache.package" in your "Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4" folder. You should do this every time you add/remove any mods or CC in your Mods folder. Also never overwrite mod/cc files, always delete and replace them to be sure. As you could have traces of them left over. Another thing i recommend is to not use the cloud save feature in Origin, and only use the "save as" to save. I do this and have never had any problems with the game saves corrupting. My apologies if you already know this.
