Deighilt Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Downloaded and placed files in the Tray folder, all npc are still default though. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong since I've not tried an npc mod before and there were no install directions.

These are library sims, so they don't go into the games files and act as default replacements. You could change their names and play them as completely different sims, if you were so inclined. But here's how you apply them as the intended NPC's: The easiest way is to use MCCC. If you're not familiar with it, get it, it's HIGHLY recommended. It does all sorts of things.  MC Command Center (deaderpool-mccc.com) With MCCC installed, now you need to locate the NPC in game. Let's assume we're going to replace Summer Holiday. So if you have the Teleport Any Sim mod by Scumbumbo, you can place the statue and bring her to you. If not, then she's usually home. Go knock on the door at BFF's. Once you locate her, click on her. Then MC Command Center> MC CAS> Copy/Paste> Paste Tray Sim> Any Saved Sim> (find Summer Holiday in the list provided). One last menu comes up, with choices about what exactly to overwrite. Since Summer Holiday was created to overwrite Summer Holiday already, just choose "Paste Sim Now!" and you're done. 12

With that said, when the modding fatigue lets up after actually playing a little, these look great! Now that I've modded things and edited so many sims, the regular townies are looking overwhelmingly underwhelming in comparison. Great job! Especially like Eliza Pancakes. A very personal look. With mods, many sims run a risk of all turning to look more or less like similar super gorgeous supermodels, so Eliza (who is a bit of a mousey girl-next-door) looks great in your re-vision! Thanks!
