Went overboard, now Game won't load...Load Order shown

Just wondering if anyone might know off the top of their head as to which Mod or Mods won't let my Game load please?

You need to tell us more, it can be anything.

What modding tool have you used?

Have you added/updated or removed mods during play?

 

Can you load old saves?

Using NMM...yes, I know many people would tell me off for it, but I tried Vortex for a few weeks and honestly hated it, as for MO, I simply can't get my head around it.

 

No, I haven't changed, added, removed, etc... any Mods during play. this load out had Mod additions and Mod removals done before attempting to start a new Game, but it won't load at all, get the usual SKSE small black box flash as always and then nothing, no matter how long I wait. I added about ten Mods and removed roughly the same amount in an attempt to only have the Script Mods I want to use installed.

No old Save loading as too many Mods used currently deactivated for the new Game.

What version of NMM are you using?

If you are using the old one I say as all other, REMOVE it and drive over it whit your car.

Community version works. But that do still suffers from issues that the old one have.

I'd check the SKSE version you have verse what the mods you have support if you aren't even making it to the beth logo which is what this sounds like

 

You can download older versions of SKSE if required by going to the archived builds link on the silverlock page

The absolute latest as far as I'm aware, the Community one... 0.72.3.0 ....Sorry my late reply, I'm in Australia, it's very early morning currently.

Animation limit or a esl was moved from its spot and game is calling on the old ref id that is no longer there. Main issue if you have basic tools installed.

 

This is why MO2 is best because you can make backups of current loadorder if something gets moved.....

In NMM, any entries in the plug-in list in orange/red text are missing a master.

I ran LOOT, no complaints from LOOT and was careful to check for all dependencies, etc... I just checked FNIS, it registers:  4914 animations for 16 mods successfully included (character) and 327 animations for 2 mods and 18 creatures successfully included. And no orange or red text in NMM plug-ins

I always thought SKSE was always backwards compatible, the SKSE I'm running is SKSE64_1_5_97 I will check SKSE info on the Mods, Thank you :)

It is unlikely to be the animation limit with only 4914 animations. Unless SE is very different than LE or esl are very different than esps, adding and removing them mid-game does not cause CTDs.

I definitely can't be an esl or esp problem then, as it's a new Game I'm trying to start.... Makes me wonder if it's that: 121 79 ImmerSlave.esp... as it did something odd when I was checking Plug-in's after running LOOT, it was placed after LAL which I wasn't too happy with, so tried to move it directly above LAL, but it wouldn't let me...Is that odd to you?

I've never used the mod so I can't say. LOOT is usually right  - you could see what masters Immerive Slavery has and perhaps that will explain why LOOT wants to put it there.

Sadly not so you have to be careful updating skyrim since while their maybe a SKSE version for an updated version of skyrim all the mods you use might not have been updated to that version of SKSE and that can cause a crash, in Vortex (nexus replacement for NMM) it will tell you if their is a incompatible version but if your still using NMM i think you'd need to check the various .txt files that should be in \Documents\my games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE as that should say if something is incompatible

 

My skyrim is working okay so i don't have an example but when i first downloaded and went to the newest version of SKSE 2.019 some of the mods i had stored on a second HDD expected SKSE 2.017 which caused crash before reaching beth logo, downgrading to 2.017 removed the issue for me

I will check the Master again, thank you :) ...LOOT is an absolute must, but sometimes takes a little fiddling...two good examples, some years back I used to run Sands of Time (a tough aggro NPC Mod, I used to be good at this game lol, but then had no Computer for about five years) and I usually use Paarthurnax Plus 3 (would rather kill Delphine over Paarthurnax)... LOOT places them both wrongly, both too high in the order to effectively work, so I'm in the practice always of sometimes questioning some of LOOT's decisions :P

Oh! That's really good to know, thank you Pinky.... I will take a look.

 

I did try Vortex, ran it for a few weeks and absolutely hated it with a passion O.o ...I couldn't find how it would let me hand move Mods to where I wanted them and despite following to a T instructions for installing and using the CBBE BodySlide  I just couldn't make it work and a few other arguments I had with Vortex so eventually spat the dummy at Vortex and went back to what I know.

When my game doesn't launch/load after installing a bunch of new mods, I start disabling and enabling the new mods I installed from when my game last worked to try find which mod(s) are causing the problem.

 

Once you've found which mod is causing the problem, you can start working to fix it.

I know :( ...What I was originally hoping was there would perhaps be something glaringly wrong with my Mod List that someone in the know would spot straight away and say, "that's your problem right there!", but from what I am now understanding is there seems to be nothing so much inherently wrong with my List and huge bonus of I'm learning a lot right now, which is always awesome :) ...So yes, I am going to first follow all advice given and if I get no joy from that, then I will start disabling, enabling, etc... and creep through the process and hopefully be able to fix or let go if I can't.

Oh man I wish it was that easy!

 

For me it always ends up being a nice simple mod or something you wouldn't expect to break the game ?

Yup, my shoulders are currently sagged in defeat, as I know I am probably going to have to go through that very slow and painful process ?...I can't complain I suppose, I've been really lucky until now, was running 200 strong Mod Game smooth as silk up until yesterday, when I finished that Game (was serious do all main quests in style Game)... Decided to go for a complete new load out and at first no issue, then added a whole lot more and now reduced to tears ?

 

I have a couple of suspects I will check first and yes, one of them looked a simple Mod lol...I certainly remember that feeling, thinking "REALLY! This Mod!"...It's been about five years since I have been able to Game until recently, am as rusty as hell.

Trying a different version of SexLab Dialogues and also removed SexLab Drunk from my Mod list, as I noticed someone mentioning there is a conflict between the Mods, Game is firing :) ...Going to go in game and see how its running shortly :)
