rodrigo2 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 General Question: is prostitution illegal by default in Skyrim? I currently use TDF prostitution with my PC being a follower of Dibella per the Wintersun mod. My PC uses prostitution to gather funds, but apparently prostitution is illegal because every day a bounty is placed on my PC. She is not a thief or otherwise a criminal. I also have SL Adventures, Solutions, Defeat, and SLEN installed. Would one of those have made prostitution illegal? I see laws that are adjustable in SL Adventures, but prostitution is not one of them. I want to make prostitution legal so Wintersun doesn't penalize my PC.
pinky6225 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Their is a option in the TDF MCM so guards wont react, tick that off and they shouldnt care

Gukahn Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Defeat has also an option for intervention. I don't use TDF so i don't know if the setting would affect it too. might be worth looking into.

Edit: For those who run into the same problem, the option is just labeled "taxation" though the taxation is strictly for visitors who stay longer than 8 hours in a city. Uncheck it and no stupid tax.
rodrigo2 Posted January 13, 2021 Author Posted January 13, 2021 Annoying update, my PC continues to get fines even with taxation unchecked. Note my PC hasn't had any run-in with the guards, though if PC gets close to one, the Guard will say "I know you!" So I guess they won't arrest my PC for prostitution, but if she ends up in jail for something else, there will be a pre-existing fine.
