sar12 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I can't get special edition version of slal to work, I think it's a problem with j containers, if I install the latest version, nothing shows up in thr mod config. Menu, it just displays slal se and when I use an older version of j containers then general option shows up but no anims which I have plenty, but this older version messes with my creature framework and what I already sayed anims dont show up only the general, I have used loot, latest sse, skse, honestly I'm at loss, I bought sse so I'm new to this but I'm a le modding veteran, it was never thag hard on le

anjenthedog Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 Afaik (at least this is how it worked for me) SLAL animation packs need to be installed *after* SLAL has been successfully installed in order to be seen by SLAL. try uninstalling one animation pack, then (once SLAL is installed...and you can see its menu in the MCM) reinstalling that animation pack, then check SLAL again in game. If it shows up, then repeat for the others. It's been a while but I'm almost positive I went through this same thing early on. fwiw, I run SLAL SE (1.0.0) along with Jcontainers 4.1.12

Make sure that Jcontainers is not overwritten by anything. Update Jcontainers, yours is old. Make sure that you also have PapyrusUtil installed, nothing should overwrite it.
sar12 Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 solved the problem,turns out sexlab isnt compatible with the skse version 2.0.19,it states that it requires 2.0.17 but me being the blind fuck I am didnt see it,upon installing that version it works fine now
