heckler22 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Hey guys, I just spent a few hours going through all of the AMAZING walk thrus/guides and watching tons of tutorial videos to get this stuff working and I'm running into issues. NOTE: -When I run FNIS from MO2, I get a command prompt log that keeps flashing (opening and closing rapidly) - I have opened and played Skyrim SE prior to downloading any mods, and the last time I successfully opened Skyrim SE was to test and verify that I had installed SKSE properly, and it worked fine. - When I go to launch Skyrim via SKSE Run in MO2 A box pops up saying that the MO2 is frozen while the app is in use. but Skyrim never opens. -Every mod has a list of mods that are required so it seemed like I was going down a rabbit hole to get everything these guides and tutorials said I needed, I'm assuming this is where I messed up. -I'm a beginner so if you are going to be nice enough to help me, PLEASE explain to me as if I am an 8 year old. -I have attached several screenshots that I think might be relevant. -If you would like to see any other screenshots please lmk, If you decide to take some time out of your day to help me just know that I REALLY APPRECIATE it, as I'm sure beginners making dumb mistakes and asking for help probably gets annoying. Thank you!!

Thank you!! Don't check the tktk on FNIS because you didn't installed it there's really possibility of CTD or Skyrim not launching at all. Make sure that you just check the very first two on the FNIS (which is GENDER and SKELETON) before running it. See if there still errors. Also check warnings given by MO2 itself, which is just beside the heart icon on the MO2. With these you can also find some reasons why your Skyrim is not running fine.

I unchecked FNIS, and still ran into the same thing, Skyrim wont open, there are a couple flags saying the mods are for a different game, but thats because they are for Skyrim not SE.

Try to install LOOT first so that it will auto sort your mod plug-ins.

Just Don't Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I wrote an entire guide on how to get Sexlab working in Skyrim SE, and it happens to use MO2 as a mod manager. It should be easy to find if you check the Skyrim SE forum section (also available in my signature, but you'll save a lot of time if you know where to look for SE advice in particular, as the main Skyrim sections are mostly for regular Skyrim and SE requires its own mods, settings and tweaks). For starters you have 3 Notifications, that should tell you what's the problem, even if you don't know how to fix them that's the first thing you should check. The command prompt flashing is normal, just let FNIS do its thing. I see you have some mods for regular Skyrim in there which is surely part of the problem. As I said, Skyrim SE requires its own mods, that's why there is a dedicated forum section and an entire site for nexusmods made for Skyrim SE. If you feel like doing a bit of reading my guide should get you covered. I recommend you to remove every mod from your current MO install before starting, you may even need to start from scratch (reinstalling MO2 or even the game). If you don't feel like following the whole thing there are direct links to all the mods you may need in step 5, and blue links in my signature are forum posts with a list of mods for SE. And as a general rule: read the info about the mod and verify it's a mod compatible, made or ported to Skyrim SE, also check if these mods are up to date and not obsolete, and make sure you're also getting all their requirements, also verifying these are up to date and for SE and so on... If you add mods because they sound fun to use but don't verify these things you won't have any fun.
