is there a way to stop "in heat" cause i have it too much and force me on 4, i have no dog with me, i have to wait one pop, and sometimes when he mount me the games crashes.
In heat is funny but too much no thank you.
Is there a command to stop or reduce it?
I travel a lot and day past faster, so with only one hour game i'm in heat three times. And the second in battle, and third times makes crash...
Any idea please? or maybe something in the ini to reduce the time needed to make character in heat?


EDIT: ok i did not enough search :P
I found the bag on rena's desk "setting" (in the dog shop, the desk where she sell dog and chat) and i can turn off "in heat".
But if there's a safe way to reduce in heat, i love the idea, but it should be no more than one week as example.
I dont know how in heat come here..two days? too quick.

The timing of in heat is based on your Tamago settings. If the menstrual cycle is fast, so will the occurances of in heat be.

sorry for the dumb question in advance.

I haven't played and therefore haven't messed with my load order in like 2 weeks but when i started playing today animations don't work i can get on all fours but the dog doesn't mount he just kinda stands there. also i'm pretty sure i've failed at the spoiler thing i apologize

Your load order is ....

Run BOSS, then sort the Mods BOSS did not sort manually in the Mod manager(clothes Mods to sorted clothes Mods, Quest Mods to sorted quest Mods, .....Sort them in about alphabetically within the categories)

Have you installed other new Mods?

 

Vtoy.esp  ? is it CLS ?  You need the Claudia's Little Secret-Lovers Patch or both Mods will not work right. ( And if you have read the CLS threads you know better play it with out any other Mods, only Body relpacer and clothes armor Mods )

Naughty_Joana_01.esp is another sex Mod/sex System, don't know if it works well with Lovers.

zzEstrus.esp ?? Version ?  19.5? You need to turn off the NudeShy/flee feature or it over-rides sex animations.

If you have only installed the 2 armor/clothes Mods and the animations worked before i don't know what can cause the Animation Problem.

 

? Have you updated LAPF ? new installed ? You know you must install LoversCreatures after LAPF. So if you have updated LAPF you must install LoversCreatures again.

when the animations stopped working i redownloaded and reinstalled LAPF,loverscreature and this mod. that didnt seem to work,i unistalled some mods and i think i've found the problem it was the Vtoy.esp from the nexus when i removed it (turns out it was activated) *and used boss* the animations started working again.

In all likelihood it is an unintended side effect of whatever fejeena used to give it the burning effect. I thought there was a fix at one point but I can't seem to find it.

?? it is only a effect shader, no fire damage.

 

Edit: I tried the hellound without fire effect and he still yelps. He's just a  whiny coward. ;)

Think I might have found the root of the problem. The hellhound also has the "AbAtronachFireResist" magical effect, imparting a 100% resistance to fire, but it also imparts a 50% weakness to frost. Weakness effects are all negative, and negative effects cause pained reactions in targets.

 

Why some kinds of persistent weaknesses, such as those granted by certain Birth Signs, don't have this effect is beyond me. Perhaps the game has specific allowances to prevent actors from reacting to negative magic effects they are already supposed to have, as opposed to those imparted by spells or poisons.

I deleted the AbAtronachFireResist but the hellhound still yelps. ( Yes I tested it with a save without hellhound and used the console to get one )

Oh, hang on, think I got it this time. With "xmyhellhound", the idle sound is set to "NPCDogYelp01", where as with the other dogs it's set to "NPCDogIdle".

All wolves have wolf Sound, sometimes growl during idle Animation. (wolves, werewolves and hyena.

Teddy dog no Sound.

Thank you both.  I couldn't walk in the kennel room without hearing yelps from the corner, it was very sad.  Another minor thing I noticed is the texture for the Hellhound and Ice Wolf match up odd around the nose.  When I get a paint tool I'll try to fix this.

When I took my dog--the first one you have to buy for 1000g--to a fight (goblin cave), the enemy ignored me completely and kept going for the dog. All I had to do was take position behind the enemy and hack him into pieces while the dog kept him occupied. But that way leveling up would be very slow as I won't be getting hit on my shield and armor. So I had to send the dog away to make the game a bit challenging. The dog also have the tendency to run away to fight far away enemies--while I'm busy looting--and getting himself killed. Are the later dogs (Collie, Doberman etc.) any smarter?

That's a Oblivion Problem  (and Skyrim) . Enemies seem to hate companions (creatures and humans) and mostly attack the companion. But if you hit the enemy a few times then he turns to you.

And all NPC/Companion will attack enemies when they come into the range of perception. I do not know how the game calculates the reach.

 

I often have to chase enemies who follow my fleeing slaves.

Thanks for the quick fixes Fejeena!  Ice Wolf looks a lot better with the new texture, he really stands out now compared to the other dogs.  Best of all there will be Ice Wolf puppies soon, I got a little careless.

I see. Started playing Oblivion after a six year hiatus to try out the cool new mods ... forgot how many things used to work. Thanks for pointing it out. Your work is quite extensive.

 

 

Thanks! Will give it a go. Though it would've been much better if someone could work out a way so the enemy would ascertain the bigger threat and attack him/her, instead of ganging up on either this person or that.

I seem to have this issue where when my character is mounted, the dog actually remains behind my character. The animations are working, but it's like they are humping the air behind me instead, Any clues how to fix this? I have checked if it could be the character tails causing the issue, but it appears to happen regardless of player (or NPC) race. They just start humping the air behind the character instead.
