trying to create some lewd/sexy mods for this game and seeking some assistance, please DM me if you have experience modding this game and are okay with me bouncing Ideas and files at you to see where they are bugged and/or need work.

Have you try asking in 'Da Modding Den' discord? It's where most of the big modders in the community are (like Mixu or OVN), maybe you can ask for advice there. DM me if you want link to join.

Basically you get an already existing card, and edit it in photoshop, for more details, try the discord mentioned above.

I did, and they helped me figure things out, but since that place has a very strict "No NSFW" rule, I can't exactly send my files to them to see what's wrong with it. I still haven't been able to get the model for this new mod working, much less the scripting I want to do

Then find someone there who is willing to work with NSFW mods and DM them?

All you're trying to do is get a unit card and unit model to show up? I can help you with that. If it's something more complicated with scripting than I might not be able to help.

You've got the variants_tables folder in your mod, but I don't see a unit_variants_tables folder in your pack. Did you leave this out intentionally? Every mod that I made that had a new unit needs this table.

 

Also, looks like you're using an alternate method for getting the game to add in the unit cards and portholes from what I'm using. I used the "selfie" program to create a .bin and add them into the game, not the .xml method you seem to be using. Perhaps that could be a solution for the unit card problem?

I did use the "selfie" program, I thought. The units_variants_tables is new to me, though, I'll give that a look, thanks!

 

That worked to get the unit on the field, thanks! Let me know if you have any idea of what I can do about the lack of innate skills showing up

It looks like you put your files in a different spot than I did in my mods. Try putting them outside of the folders they're currently in, see how it works?

 

I'm not sure what you mean by innate skills. Since you're using handmaidens, I guess you're talking about things like "incendiary" and "conductive"?

The problem isn't getting them in, it's getting them to show up. I'll do a bit of monkeying around, and see what I can get, but I'm not sure what the real answer is at the moment

 

edit: innate skills are what I'm looking at, the things non-modders refer to as "Traits". They're assigned in the character-skills table, but I can't seem to get them to generate in the campaign

I think you might have used the selfie program wrong, now that I think about it. You're supposed to take the .xml file, drag it onto the selfie.exe file, and it generates a .bin file that you then put into the proper folder. Your mod just has the .xmls, which is not what you're supposed to use, I think.

did you try moving the files from where they were originally placed, or did you just generate the .bin file and put it where you had them originally?

interested to see what modders will do with the Daemon Prince system CA just revealed today. I also wouldn't be surprised if some modders made mods that alters slaneesh daemons to be fully female or something
